Beautiful antique glass picture trees & house with lovely ornate frame
This is a beautiful antique picture in glass which I have owned and loved for many many years. My house is very small and so I decided to sell some items. I do not know the name for this kind of art in glass but the picture is lovely. It is all in browns and depicts a tree lined country road leading to a lovely old home. it is in good condition for its age. Lovely ANTIQUE Victorian Young Girl PRINT Wood Frame
From an old Estate and we have a beautiful Victorian print of a lovely young Girl! We've seen this print once before. And can't recall the name of it, and its probably stated on the print under the old matting. Its frame measures 19 1/4" long by 11 1/4" wide. The print itself is 17" by 8 7/8" the matting being around 1/2" wide. Although we can't find a date on the bottom as it is probably under the matting, it is more than likely from the early 1900's. It is in an old wood frame that does have numerous scuffs or nicks in the wood, see photos. We have provided many pictures from different angles trying to capture the Beauty of the print with out having any reflections in the glass for you. The print itself is in wonderful condition for its age as we see no damage, maybe a couple of small spots on the ... moreprint or on the back side of the glass, very very faint, you can see the one, right above her right shoulder, the other a 1/2 inch above that, they show worse in the photos than in person. No foxing to the print, still has its muted although gorgeous coloring. We didn't clean the outside of the glass. Until after we took the photos, duh, now its even prettier. Got a ton of dirt off the frame itself, more there if you would like to continue wiping it down. It has a paper backing, you see little spike nails wear it has come loose, has the old wiring to hang it by. 1840s Dovetailed Birdseye Maple Frame W/ Lovely Antique Print Of 2 Young Girls
Description This beautiful antique birdseye maple frame from the 1840's measures 13" wide. 16 1/4" long, and the wood has a warm honey tone. The corners of the frame are dovetailed from the back on the diagonal, and the frame is backed with wood covered with very old paper. There is a gilded wood and gesso liner, and the frame is complemented with an exceptional Victorian print of two sweet girls sauntering barefoot. One is holding a scarf filled with grape clusters and the other is holding a basket full of the same on her head. Both girls have clusters of grapes in their hair. The print was not original to this frame. It was matted and fit into the frame at a later date, and the glass is probably not original either. It was placed above the liner and the glass has some age, but it is not early. The alterations are some years ... moreold since I have owned this piece for at least 15 years and enjoyed it very much. The frame is in very nice condition with no cracks. Scratches or gouges in the wood. The liner is fine with no discoloration or loss of gilt. The print is likewise very nice with no soiling, creases or tears. There is minor separation in the inside edges of the corners of the frame due, I believe, do natural shrinkage of the wood. The piece as a whole is outstanding and I am sure it will give its new owner as much pleasure as it has given me. Thanks for looking.

This lovely. Antique“Art Nouveau” picture frame features a beautiful, smiling woman, in profile, who is gazing at fluttering butterflies. The woman is dressed in a strapless, Greek-style, full-length gown and she stands among ivies and ferns underneath a tree. There are also likenesses of oversized lilies, along with an organic flowing design, on the front of the frame, that reflects how nature inspired the artists of that time. The frame is made of cast brass. And there is evidence of applied patinas; most noticeable is a bronze color on the woman's skin, and a green tint on the leaves. The frame's picture opening measures just over 5 ½” x 3 ¾” and the overall size is about 12” tall, at its highest point by 8 ¾” wide, at its widest point. Lovely antique gilt gold Victorian frame/fits a 14" X 20" painting/circa 1880
This is a really pretty and beautifully designed Victorian frame made around 1880. While I cannot be sure. It looks like it is finished in metal leaf. It is made to fit a painting that is 14" by 20, so it's a common and sought-after size Overall size is 19" by 25. Condition is as found and as shown. Has a few minor losses- the most obvious being some liner loss of the sand and gold mixture. While I do not see that as a major problem, it's an easy fix by making your own sand/gold mixture and gluing it in place. This is a really sweet design that will enhance any pice of 19th century art. The frame measures 18 by 14 on the outside with a depth of 1 1/2 inches. It's hard to measure the interior because of the cardboard on back. Up for auction is a truly outstanding antique circa 1920 floral decorative ornate frame that was used for a wedding picture. I am selling this for the frame as the wedding picture is FREE to the winner. The opening size is roughly 15 by 9 1/2 inches which would work nicely with a cut to size 12 by 16 inch photo. This frame has a nice unbroken gesso floral pattern which wraps around it in a nice organic art nouveau style. This is a wonderful vintage antique Double Swinging Piano Picture Photo Frame. Piece measures 15" wide x 11-1/2" high. Each individual photo frame measures 8-3/4" x 6-1/2" Piece is made of wood and looks as if top part of frame had been repaired. Did not notice that till I got home; purchased at an estate sale. Each frame swings perfectly. Lovely antique piece- most likely from the 40's. Pictures are part of description so please look closely. I am not an expert; only a collector of all lovely things. This is a Lovely Antique Photo or Print Wood Frame! It's in Excellent condition for its age. Normal wear. It measure's 15" X 11 1/2" holds a 10" X 12" photo or print. The gold toned finish appears to be all original, has nice basket floral topper, no missing pieces. I do see some age crackles, especially the far raised design to the left. The outer border design looks good, no damage. The Glass is Very Old& Wavy! If winner is interested, would be glad to attach a wire hanger for displaying, just let me know?
