These are usually referred to as utility latches because of the wide range of uses. I’ve seen these used on transom windows, cabinets, casement windows almost anyplace you’d like to use a unique looking latch. The latch and keeper will work on either right or left hand side of door or window. The latches are cast iron and the keepers are steel. The condition is very good with the latches having age darkening dings and scratches and loss of finish from age. All I did to these was a quick wiping down with an oiled rag. The approximate measurements of the latch base is 2 1/8” x 1 1/8” The handle or grasp is 2 ½” The keeper is 1 ½” wide x 1 7/8” Free first class shipping in a padded envelope. Please check out my other latches I have listed. Oil has been applied but they should have a final cleaning and clear coated or painted for continued protection. It's an excellent fascimile of an antique Art Nouveau frame. Made of solid cast iron in a natural browned shade. Lovely detail. The condition is very good and sturdy, however it's missing it's glass and backing. This sale is for the frame only. On the top of the back, there is some surface rust. On the top of the front, there is what might be the beginning of it(oxidation darkening) but this really doesn't detract from the overall great looks of this piece because it coordinates with the natural color of the frame anyway. Estate sale found early vintage circa"1917" cast iron or steel World War One military picture/photo frame in excellent condition. This was found with no photo present. The paint is very well preserved with a great patina and the rear prop leg is in excellent working order and the three swivel photo retaining pins are all present and also in great condition. Back is marked with a number as seen in image# 9. This has not been cleaned and still has many years of dust in the crevices. Measures approx. 9+1/4" high x 6+5/8" wide at the feet. Will accept a photo of approx. 6" x 4+1/4" with a 1/2" of inner frame lip variance for smaller sized images. This is marked on the part that goes on the back of the beveled edge glass Pat April23 1878. The frame does have a repair that may have occurred at the factory? The chair that the angel was sitting in was broken off and soldiered back on. You cant hardly tell it from the front. The oil painting of the baby is not signed and was done on canvass. It looks to be from the 1870's or 1880's. It is 2 inches across. The frame is made of cast iron and is 9 inches tall and 7 inches wide. Listed for sale is a Victorian. Pittsburg Lamp and Brass Company Picture/Mirror Frame. It is gold plated cast iron. It has the number 1060 and the PLB Co stamped in the cast iron on the back, see picture#3. It also still has a original paper label on it, that says Genuine Gold Plate, Pittsburg Lamp and Brass Co. This is a very unusual and original piece. It had a broken mirror in it when I bought it years ago. Never did get it replaced. It is in excellent condition except for wear to the plating. It holds a picture that is 3.75" X 5" As shown in the photos. A corner has been broken. It looks like it was once glued but that has come undone and needs to be soldered for a permanent fix. It has a bottom foot pedestal. The only mark is indented 1266 in two places. I'm including the cabinet card photograph that was in the frame of a young girl in a wicker chair. It has been rigged with a metal wire for hanging that can be easily removed. I purchased this at an estate auction and am uncertain of its exact age. Gorgeous old frame.im not sure of the metal though of what it is.It has oxidized areas. Gone green.in parts. I have used this frame in my home to display two Santa prints made of German postcard images.you can have them if you want them. The glass is held in place with the velvet backed boards using nails that slide into holes. It has lots of ware. Velvet is deteriorating but this is still lovely in your home. Sold as seen. It has been fitted with a mirror(not original to it) and appears to have an old paper clip serving as one of the fasteners on the back. But it is an old one, sturdy and perfectly serviceable! Beautiful cast iron frame with lots of detail. Self standing model with a kick out foot in back. Appears to be a reproduction of the original. The original frame had screws and bent wires to hold in the photo at the back. This one has pins and tabs which indicates that it is a reproduction of that old frame. Still a vintage reproduction at that and very attractive. I saw an original of this frame at an antique store this week and you cannot tell the difference from the front. Very accurate casting of the original. Weighs almost 3 pounds. Happy bidding!

This auction is for an old antique Cast Iron Picture frame with easel. The frame takes a picture 4.25’ wide and 6.12’ tall. There are a few spots of rust(look at the pictures) The easle looks to have been replaced, it’s painted gold has 3 flaps with screws to hold the picture in, over all it’s 11’ tall and 7.75’ wide, the only marking I see is the numbers on the back on the bottom that read 9235 3 7919. This is a stunning antique solid cast iron flour-de-lis oval standing picture frame. it is extremely ornate and made from heavy cast iron with a gold gilded finish. it has a wonderful patina from age. there are many flour-de-lis's wrapping the whole frame and it is topped with a dimensional medieval knight. it is ornately footed at the front and there is an equally as ornate pivoting arm in the back. it is in great antique shape and measures 15 1/4 inches wide by 13 3/4 inches tall. the opening measures 11 3/4 inches wide by 7 3/4 inches up and down. there are brackets in the back to hold whatever is put into the frame securely. Antique Cast Iron Victorian Picture Photo Mirror Easel Frame Brass Bronze Color
This antique cast iron table top photo or mirror frame measures 12&1/2" tall. And the opening is approximately 4&5/16" x 6&1/8" It's made of heavy cast iron with a brass-colored metallic paint or plating. As shown, it's in very good condition, with no breaks or missing metal, just typical wear to the brass paint/plate here and there and a nice aged patina. The stand works fine. This does not have any backing. But since this has a metal stand, something can easily be rigged up to hold a photo or small mirror in the frame. I actually displayed this with a piece of murky antique shaving mirror glass in it, but because it was a bit small for the frame I had to place a slightly larger piece of glass taken out of a photo frame behind it to hold it in place, so I am NOT including the mirror in this listing.
