Vtg. Art Deco Bird Glass chip over-layed on metal frame Tramp Art Unique
Antique Tramp art Bird made with metal body with small glass chips over-lay. I am not positive of the exact composition of the bird's body. But feet and tail are metal with a brown material between the metal and the glass chip overlay. Body is very hard and solid on the outside. Bird measures 12 inches from beak to end of tail. About 8 inches tall, and 3 3/4 inches across breast. Due to the age of the bird. Many of the glass chips are missing and coming loose. The loose glass chips will be sent along. Antique peacock metal picture frame art deco early 1900s
This art deco picture frame comes from a Florida estate and is a gem. A real rare find! It measures about 5 inches across by 7 1/2 inches long, and it holds a picture that's about 3 inches by 4 1/2 inches. The peacock on the front is about 2 inches high. It appears to be made out of some kind of dark metal, and the only markings we can find is the number 8416 on the back. There are some nicks in the paint, although nothing major, just normal stuff from about 100 years of existence. I would say it is in very good condition. Please feel free to ask any questions. This lovely vintage hinged frame is in pristine condition. It features one 8 x 10 frame in the middle with two 8 x 4 side frames attached. The side frames come with their original 3 x 4 mats. I am sorry the pictures do not more clearly show the corner design with a sweet flowers hanging from pointed corner brackets. The cardboard backs look leatherette-like and having hanging hooks so that it can be set up on a table or hung on the wall. It comes with its glass also. It is a bright. Lot 2 Art Deco Brass Silver Metal Vintage Picture Frames Velvet Easel Hallmark
These two wonderful art deco picture frames are both in good condition with some scratching and wear which I have tried to show in the pictures. They are in very sturdy condition and weigh over a lb. each. Sorry for the glare on some of the pictures! The paper insert that came in the silver one reads Solid Brass. Hand polished& lacquer coated and it has a made in Korea sticker on its black velvet back. It opens by a brass latch into a photo album which holds about 56 photos which looks like it was never used. Its overall measurements are close to 7 x 9 x 1 1/4 inches and it weights 1.10 lbs. The one that is silver and gold on the front appears to be partly brass also and has a black velvet stand back with the"Hallmark" logo on it. It weighs 1.3 lbs. Again.
