Old Photo. Older Frame This is a beautiful antique picture frame with an ornate design of scrolls and curlicues. I believe is cast bronze and perhaps French in origin. The frame was found at an estate sale containing the photo shown. Which is of a stylish young man who has that movie star look. It's an original print, embossed with"Jose Reyes, Hollywood, probably from the 1940s or so. There is no glass so the photo has a few scratches. The frame has the original backing plate but is missing its easel prop. Someone painted the frame at some point and added a wire loop for hanging. The frame is 14 7/8" high and 9 7/8" across. Antique Cast Iron Victorian Picture Photo Mirror Easel Frame Brass Bronze Color
This antique cast iron table top photo or mirror frame measures 12&1/2" tall. And the opening is approximately 4&5/16" x 6&1/8" It's made of heavy cast iron with a brass-colored metallic paint or plating. As shown, it's in very good condition, with no breaks or missing metal, just typical wear to the brass paint/plate here and there and a nice aged patina. The stand works fine. This does not have any backing. But since this has a metal stand, something can easily be rigged up to hold a photo or small mirror in the frame. I actually displayed this with a piece of murky antique shaving mirror glass in it, but because it was a bit small for the frame I had to place a slightly larger piece of glass taken out of a photo frame behind it to hold it in place, so I am NOT including the mirror in this listing.

I have for sale a very unique Vintage framed picture of an old man in victorian style clothing(reminds me of the Shakespeare era or 16th century in nature) It is a square wood frame 6"x6" which has been painted in a gold/bronze color and aged to look old. On the back the label lists the subject as Old Masters. The picture IS NOT under glass. It does have a small smudge on it which is not noticeable unless it is turned a certain way and you are looking for it. It does not show up when hanging on the wall. I believe the picture is affixed to a cardboard type material. It does have an etched design on the front of the frame. I had some reservation in parting with this piece because it simply exudes quality. Character and was executed so well when made. Not to mention, I bet this piece has a story- if it could talk! As if the frame with easel back wasn't great enough. There is also this antique photo inside of a Victorian lady and her children. The whole piece is in exquisite shape with little ware to the frame. It does have just 1 prong back missing. But the other 3 are there to keep photo in place. The frame back is numbered, but I can't make it out. Antique Victorian bronze reef? Civil war reef? Beautiful and heavy!
Up for your consideration I have a vintage antique bronze reef. I have done some research on it but could not find anything similar to it. I am not sure if it is Victorian. Civil war era or something else? it weights approximately 3 1/2 lbs and the measurements are approx 14" in length by 6" in width. the thickness is approximately 1" at the widest part. It appears to have been a part of something else. At the bottom of it it looks like a screw is lodge inside of it and on the top side of the reef around 10AM and 2pm it looks like a hole was drilled for a screw. On the ribbon itself there are also 2 screw holes. One of them also has a screw lodge in it. It is a truly beautiful bronze reef naturally tarnish green in some area.
