Large Oval Antique Brass Picture Frame with Tin Back and Wooden "stretcher" 20"
20" long and 14" wide. The frame has no damage. The tin back is solid. The wooden"stretcher" has canvas on it and looks like someone did paint something on there. But then it was covered with gesso. Can either be painted over, or just remove the canvas and put your own on, or just use the wood for backing.

This is a fantastic antique victorian shadow box frame with a large tin type image of someone's sweet little baby from long ago. Walnut 3" deep frame measures 12" x 14" and has a 7 1/2" x 9 1/2" frame opening. Large tin type image is mounted under glass and matted with an oval mat that has a 5 3/4" x 7 3/4" opening. Tin type is in very nice condition. Walnut frame is good and solid. Has several chips to the gilt trim along the edge of one side along with normal age related wear to the finish of the frame. This is an antique tin lithograph in wood and gesso frame of"Our Lady of Mount Carmel" I believe it is probably from around 1900. It is in good condition with a few scratches on the picture and the frame has a couple chips. Note the old newspaper print on the back of the frame. I guess this came from a Catholic church. Frame appears to be made of tin and has a thin plastic window for viewing. The back has a foot made of the same metal which clips on and allows the frame to stand.
