Beautiful Victorian Oval Wood Frame Wood with gold. Interior is an orange color. This is a deep frame, like a shadow box. The depth of the inside of the frame front to back of frame is about 3" Frame 13 1/2" x 11 1/4" opening is 8" x 10" The frame is made of wood and pieces do not separate other than the glass. The glass rests in the front but was held in place with tape. Also glass appears to have been chipped into an oval not cut with glass cutter. No back is present with this piece. Wood is heavy and very nice. I do my best to describe items accurately but encourage questions before you buy and item. Antique Metal Filigree Picture Frame This beautiful frame displays the exquisite filigree workmanship that existed during the early 1900's. There are geometric shapes lining the front of the frame and small flowers along the back of the frame. The edge has yet another pattern. The frame appears to be made of brass. But I'm not certain. The frame measures approximately 10-1/8 inches by 8-1/8 inches. There is an OVAL inset within the 8 X 10 picture frame. Note: The photos distort the oval image and it appear to be round. However. It is a very lovely oval shape. This is in very good condition for its age. The brown velveteen back board shows some minor wear. A pin has been punctured through the back board to help secure the stand but I do not believe it is necessary. This auction is for a FABULOUS early Czech glass frame. The frame itself is primarily brass. Has its original solid brass back with stand. The brass front almost has a hammered look. Great patina. All stones original and still there. Needs a cleaning. But I don't touch anything.leave it to you and how you like it. The frame measures 5 1/4 by 7 3/4. The inside photo part measures just shy of 4" wide and just shy of 6 1/2 inches tall. Gorgeous work in all 4 corners. This is a beautiful antique oval wood picture frame measuring 16 7/8 X 14 7/8 inches. The picture area of the frame measures 10 inches by 12 inches. The wood used in the frame is very interesting with various differentiations of wood tones. The frame has some minimal damage as shown in the pictures. VTG Antique Oval Bubble Convex Picture Frame Replacement Glass 11.5" x 8.5"
Up for bid is an old bubble glass for a picture frame. It is 11.5" by just under 8.5" It does have a scratch on the front. About an inch across, that is pictured above. However, the camera did not pic up on it very well. It's a whiteish color, about 2 inches up from the bottom, or top depending on how you set the frame. I did lower the price because of the scratch.

Antique/Vintage 8 x 10 or 12 x 10 Brass Frame with Inset Ornate Accents-Army Man
Years ago. Pictures were printed in several different sizes. It wasn't unusual to walk into a home and see a 8 x 10 photo in a 12 x 10 frame or trim the larger to fit the smaller frame. Folks didn't always have the money to buy frames from the many sizes of pictures. The design behind this frame was so you could put a 8 x 10 or 12 x 10 and the odd sizes between those 2. The border you see that makes the picture look oval, can be changed just by using a different color paper and make your own mat for your pictures. The brass oval ring is on the outside of the glass so it hides the edges of the paper that creates the look of a mat. I suppose you could just put a picture in it without any mat as long as the brass oval and the ornate designs wasn't over part of the picture. This mat is black and goes well with the black and white ... morephoto but as I said, you can make the background whatever color you want it to be by simply cutting out your own mat. I used to polish my brass items until I found out that some buyers don't like it to be real shiny. If you do, I'm positive this frame would be stunning if the brass was polished but it does look good like it is. Frame measures 12 x 10. Let me know if you have any questions. Up for auction is an antique deep well walnut Victorian picture frame recently found at auction in the Lancaster County. PA area. It is found in good used condition and features a lemon gold colored inner liner. The liner does have some minor discoloration on the surface. There is a small crack in the frame which can be repaired. This is best seen in photo#4. There are some surface scratches as well, shown in photo#3. It has a hanger on the back, which shows age, but I cannot say if it is original or not. This antique frame will accommodate a picture or photo which measures approximately 8 3/4" x 10 3.4" in size.
