These picture frames belonged to my late grandparents. My grandfather was born in 1898. They are in very good condition for their age. The one with the acorn corner detail is 9 5/8" x 7 5/8" for the picture. Overall measurement is 15 1/4" x 13 1/4" The white sticker reads in part"civil war" It can easily be removed. Some of the gold has flaked off on the inner edge. The one with the foil art is 9 1/2" x 7 1/2" for the picture. Overall measurement is 14 1/2" x 12 1/2" The smallest one is 8 5/8" x 6 5/8" for the picture. Overall measurement is 12 1/2" x 10 1/2" In pencil on the back wood panel reads"Taken 1904 at Hunts Mills RI. 1902 Stanley Steamer, Chas Golden& bride" The old photo of Chas& bride" with no name is missing.

Vintage Adirondack Criss Cross Frame --- Antique Little Girl Print --- 15” x 19”
This beautiful old Adirondack criss cross frame has wonderful flat leaf rosettes at each corner. It’s sound and solid and sturdy. Showing only minor light wear, with a nice patina. The outer edges of the“criss crosses” measure about 19.25” x 15.25” The frame opening on the back, where a print or photo would fit, measures about 15” x 10” The antique print is of a precious little girl in a hooded shawl with a bow in front. The print has quite a bit of wear…there’s creases in several spots… a water stain at the bottom… and a few narrow tears that you can see in the photos. Even with these flaws, the print looks marvelous for hanging…there’s a lot of character there! The frame is in great condition. Showing light wear only… nothing major. There’s what appears to be some dried glue around the lower right leaf rosette… perhaps the rosette was reglued ... moreat some time. There’s no hangar on the back of the frame. The Walnut Wood has some minor distress marks. The one Criss Cross needs to be tightened. The back of the frame has wood holding picture in place.
