Antique Wood Picture frame glass picture 19 1/2 x16 1/2" paint peeling wire
This is an old wood picture frame with glass and picture. It measures approx. 19 1/2" across and 16 1/2" down. The paint on the wood is peeling and there are nicks in it. There are 2 sets of twisted wire on the back for hanging. The back piece also has some bulges. The picture and glass are intact. The name of the picture is"Hunters' Dream" by Richard Bishop. This title and name are written on the front bottom of the picture itself. The picture shows geese flying over a marsh with more geese and a beautiful.Cloudy sky.

This auction is for a rare large tiger wood reverse painted bubble glass picture frame measuring 25" X 19 1/2" as you can see this is much larger than the usual tiger wood frame sizes making this size quite rare) and the inner glass measures 19 1/2" X 13 1/2" The frame itself is in fantastic condition. Please pay attention to the skyline of the painting. It is here you can see it is starting to peel a bit but this is very common with reverse glass paintings that are well over 100 years old. This is an antique bubble glass for over the old pictures. It was removed from a frame that was ruined and does have minor chips or rough edges on it not visible when in the frame. It may have a bit of tint from age and has been used for years so it will need to be cleaned a little. Vintage Victorian Elegante Importers picture Frame in original shipping box and protective wrap. For Your Consideration is a charming Vintage Victorian gold-tone wooden frame with raised jesso scroll work. It has never been used and was still in the original protective wrap from the manufacturer. I removed it to verify condition and it is mint in the original shipping box. The outside measurements are 23 1/2 inches tall by 19 1/2 inches wide. The inside Picture measurements are 20 inches tall by 16 inches wide.
