This print has a 1.5" frame border. Print is not framed. Emma Serena"Queena" Stovall was born in 1887 in rural Amherst county Virginia. She was nicknamed Queena because it was easier to pronounce then Emma Serena. When Queena was 9 her father died and the family moved to Lynchburg. Then a town of about 18,000. Queena attended high school but left early to go to work. At age 19, she married a promising businessman some 14 years her senior, and the couple had 8 children. She started painting at age 62, when she was already a great-grandmother. Queena is a Southern memory painter, who often portrayed her black neighbors as well as her own family. This lovely tribute to mom dates from the 30's or 40's. It features a well-loved poem from that era. A Wonderful Mother" by"Pat. O'Reilly" Colors of the print are soft yellows and pale greens. With corners, borders, and other highlights in metallic gold which catches the light. The original textured wood frame has the same gold highlighting, along with a strip of dark red. Oh my gosh. What a beautiful print this is! As you can see in the photos, the print itself is more of a sepia color. Not really black and white. More brown and cream. I think this may be an old advertisement but I'm not sure. It’s rich honey yellow background, the deep melon orange, primrose yellow, and avocado green make this a handsome hanging. The fine print under the melon reads“Plate XII Painted by the Arthur G. Vintage Dutch Windmill Print from the early 1900's(not sure of exact date) by Jacob Izaakszoon van Ruisdael called the"Tower Mill at Wijk bij Duurstede. Netherlands 1670. Wood frame is in good condition. The glass has a few scratches(note below windmill in front of girls and in the left upper section of sky and to left of the windmill blades which looks like damage to the print but it's actually a scratch in the glass) The scratches are hardly visible when the picture is hanging on the wall but the flash from the camera has highlighted them. The Sun was shining through the window behind me so there are funny lighted areas on the picture. The back used to have a paper backing but has disappeared over time. Vintage Polish"Boze Blogostaw Nasz Dom" God Bless Our Home) J J Miller Cleveland. Ohio framed print This print belonged to my in-laws and is at least 50 years old. And probably older. My husband remembers it in this exact presentation from when he was a child. So we know that it has not been remounted or reframed since then. Condition details: Print itself is in very good condition- no tears or creases. There appears to be a water spot type stain in the upper right corner. The frame is vintage with a fair amount of visible wear- discoloration. Chipped paint, surface scratches. The corner moldings have some cracks, but are not loose. There are no cracks in the long horizontal and vertical portions of the frame. The glass over the print is in excellent condition- no chips or scratches.

This is an older piece of good quality. It is made of wood with very detailed barbola gesso detailing in a stunning design all around. The base holds the oval shaped top which has a rim. There are some minor hairline surface cracks and some missing gesso. As I show. At the bottom underneath, half of the wood surface piece is missing, as I show, but this doesn't effect the piece and it is solid. Inside, on top is a breathtaking original sepia print of a beautiful Goddess or woman with a precious little cherub above. The print ... morehas minor scratches and wear. It has the original gold paint that is a little chippy and time worn for a perfect patina. Perfect anywhere in your home in your shabby chic, French country or romantic cottage decor. Measurements are about 10 1/2" by 8 1/2" by 5 1/4" tall. It weighs about one pound. Buyer to pay shipping and insurance of $10.00 with UPS to the lower 48 states. If it comes out less. There is a small inscription on the bottom right corner dated 7/18- 34. It reads: To the Dark's, From the Price's. It was printed on thick card stock, nearly cardboard and is in very good condition.
