The bowl is an ornate crimped edge peach blow glass that shades from a bright pink to white. With silver or mica flakes, and a polished pontil. The top edge is clear crystal. The metal holder is marked: Middletown Plate Co. Quadruple Plate, 708, Hard White Metal. The holder features a Cherub or Angel and a Butterfly. A really nice Victorian combination. The Serving Dish is the only piece I have ever had marked Fraget and with a bit of reasearch I found this was a Polish(then part of Russia) Silver Company know for very fine quality workmanship and later became part of the famous WMF Company. So you know the quality is top notch. The Centerpiece Serving Dish consists of a very large Silver Plate frame or stand, modeled to look like Bamboo and featuring large Fruit and Leaf patterns as well. The Frame is quite large and very impressive measuring 10-1/2" tall by 13-1/4" across. There is also 3 lovely Cut Glass Dishes that fit in this frame and they measure 7" long by 4-3/4" wide and sit 1-1/4" deep. The Frame is in excellent condition with no breaks, cracks or repairs and looks to have no wear to the Silver Plate down to the base metal. The Glass Dishes are also in good order, one has a chip and cracked area as seen in our photos, another just has one small chip and the 3rd is in excellent condition.

ANTIQUE SILVERPLATED PICKLE CASTOR Pressed Glass Jar "Diamond Block" VICTORIAN
Antique. Victorian era, pressed glass pickle jar is in a silverplated holder with it's matching lid. It stands approximately 10" tall x 4 1/4" wide. The jar fits a 3 1/4" lid. There are no tongs. It is marked on the bottom with a number: 2360. Etched 89 h also is on the bottom which might date it to 1889. Which would be about right. The jar is a nice pressed glass pattern made in 1894 by Duncan& Co. of Pennsylvania called PANELLED DIAMOND BLOCK. It is in very good condition without any chips. Cracks, or repairs. The beautiful blown glass grapes are amber in color and are HUGE(they look like small figs) They range in sizes of 1¾" down to 1¼" in length1¼" across. The leaves are amber and clearrange in sizes of 2¾" in length to 2" in length and 2" across, one amber leave is broken which is shown in pictures. These are attached to wire wrapped stems. VERY RARE Antique Vintage Victorian Silver Thimble Etui cut glass scent bottle
Incredible silver Thimble forming a case(étui) discretely hiding a miniature cut glass bottle to hold scent or perfume. To perhaps refresh the'Lady' while sewing? There are no hallmarks that I can see but a Jeweller has assured me it is solid Silver. Similarly there is no size marked on the Thimble- Measurements: Diameter base thimble 1.6cms Diameter base etui 1.8cms Diameter crown of Thimble 1.2cms Height thimble 2.5cms Height étui 3.5cms The Thimble& Etui are in Excellent condition. Just the silver could do with some polishing, but I would rather leave that to the'experts' See the pretty engraved pattern around the center of the Thimble with also a'shield' engraved ready for initials! The Thimble screws onto the base holding the scent bottle. This screw works perfectly. The indentations on the base ... moreof the Etui I feel sure are there for a reason. But I have found no information about them. The Miniature cut glass bottle has 9 facets with more. Even smaller, shoulder' facets. The stopper is in perfect condition and if you look closely you will see a pattern built into the top from air bubbles. I presume. The lower part of the stopper has been ground so as to fit well. Stopper is original and has matching engraving. Dating to around 1885. Height 11.5 inches. Body diameter 5.5 inches. Condition. The decanter is unstained. The only fault is some nibbling to the inside of the rim where the stopper fits through use. The stopper is fine. And there are no other chips cracks or restorations. The paperweight has 2 flowers inside- the one at the top slightly larger than the underneath one. The flowers ar coming from a little vase or holder. It has lots of little bubbles in the glass& some of them are slightly rough on the surface. There are a few in one place which are opaque& a slight scratch both of which I have tried to show this in the photograph. It measures approximately 3 1/2" tall& 1 1/2" diameter at the base(which is not absolutely flat) Weighs approximately 600g hence the postal charge is rather high It is in very nice condition with defects as mentioned which are commensurate with the age& type of item. I have not determined the maker but my thought is perhaps Bohemian-any help appreciated. The glass is bright blue decorated with enameled daisies and painted gold foliage. This piece is 16 3/4" high overall. 7" across at the crimped and ruffled top rim, 11" across at the bowl and 5 1/2 at the base. The bottom has an open pontil and is signed"8" The end of the horn is marked but hard to read. The epergne is in very good estate condition with no chips, cracks or restorations noted. There is some minor roughness on the end of the horn and a bit of leftover soil at the bottom(should be an easy clean up)see enlarged photos to evaluate. Antique 19th Century MISSION Victorian Brass & Cut Glass OIL LAMP Font NICE
I was told this is an antique whale oil lamp font. It looks like one of those old french oil lamps to me. I'm not a lamp expert! It measures 5" tall from where the burner screws on to the bottom. It is 3 1/2" diameter across the bottom. The brass and the glass are quite heavy and the diamond pattern has been cut into the glass. Not pressed. The glass is perfect with no cracks or chips or scratches. The brass has some tarnish on it, but hey, it's old. The part that the burner screws onto is exactly 1" outside diameter. It has 2 numbers on the glass on the bottom, or a symbol and a number. The first number or symbol is unreadable because the glass design cuts into it. The items measure 3.9 inches long with a base diameter of 0.7 inches and a top diameter of 2.8 inches. The most significant of these is a small group of black marks which are suspended within the glass and clearly visible in photo 2. Left hand side. Victorian pressed amber glass figure of a dog
On offer is a small(10cm high) hollow pressed glass Victorian glass dog in amber glass. Although these dogs have not been definitively assigned to any maker as far as I know. It has the look and feel of Thomas Kidd in my opinion, although any of the North East makers(Sowerby, Davidson, Greener) may have made them as a side line. These dogs were cheap decorations in their day. And this is shown in the rough base(which is"as made" and the small glass seepage on the mould line under the dog's chin resulting in a small(5mm x 3mm) fin of glass crest(the opposite of a chip! There are other flaws, but no cracks. All in all, this is about as good as these dogs get. Any international buyers- please contact me for p7p costs. Happy bidding

Made of fine quality crystal glass, of Neo-Classical ovoid form, with a tall slender neck, terminating with a tri-foil lip, with its original faceted ovoid stopper, on a circular support. The body is etched with two concentric bands of Greek-key and foliage. The neck is cut with a tapering facets, and the underside is cut with a radiating star. This decanter measures 258 mm in height and 83 mm in width. It weighs 333 grams. The condition is generally excellent, without damage or repair, there are no chips or cracks, the glass does have light surface scratches, which is the patina of age. Please see images. Pretty Victorian Glass Flower Basket Vase - LARGE SIZE
Here is a beautiful large glass flower basket vase. Typically Victorian. Height overall is 13" Lovely condition. Very slight water marking near the bottom of the vase. Good wear marking to base. There is a very very slight dink in the rim which I actually can't see but can feel if I run my fingers around the rim. I've done my best to photograph this but it really is very tiny. This is a really nice piece of Victorian glass. Matchbox included in photo to show scale.
