Victorian vaseline opalescent art glass epergne trumpet vase. This will glow under a black light as it was made with uranium. Dates to the early 1900’s. The photo is true to color. Aqua blue with white opalescent rim and green near the base, and amazingly it all glows under the black light. Measures 10 3/4 inches long. 3 3/4 top opening and 9/16 inch diameter fitter end. Glass Hanging Basket Epergne On offer is this fabulous large antique glass epergne made from vaseline opalescent glass which looks absolutely stunning under U.V. Light. Measurments are approximately: Overall height from base to tip of coronet is approximately 18½" The height of each hanging basket is approximately 7½" Rim diameter 3 ⅝" The bowl forming the base is approximately 10" diameter by 1 ⅞" deep. The bowl base has absolutely no chips. Cracks, scratches or repairs. The coronet has absolutely no chips. Cracks, scratches or repairts, there is slight movement from the center of the fitting, it unscrews from the brass fitting easily. Fabulous Victorian Green Vaseline Uranium Glass Epergne Trumpet Flute Vase This fabulous Victorian epergne trumpet is made of uranium or vaseline glass. It glows really well under the uv light. The flute has a milky colour rim. It measures 11.5 cm long. The open end of the trumpet(where the flowers go! has a diameter of 7.8 cm at the widest point, the end that fits into the epergne has a diameter of 1.7 cm. The flute is in good condition. No chips etc. I will have a few other epergne parts listed in the next few weeks. As always with glass it is really difficult to do it justice on the photos. Queen Victoria moulded uranium glass crown trinket box it dates to the late c19th probably the Jubilee. The exact date can be worked out from the registration kite mark to the base. it is beautifully moulded and is a real impressive looking piece of glass. sadly it is damaged. the cross from the top of the crown is missing also there is some chips to the rim of the lid. the base is in excellent condition. In one place there looks like there is a crack but this is a manufacturing mark from the orignal moulding. this box measures approx 9.5cms wide and 10.5 cms tall. a really unusual piece of Queen Victoria commemorative ware.

John Walsh / Webb pair uranium vaseline glass thorn vases - Victorian British
Pair of hand-blown late-Victorian/ Art Nouveau uranium(vaseline) glass bud vases by John Walsh Walsh or Webb of Great Britain. These vases are 9.2 and 8.8cm high and are in excellent condition with most. If not all the pulled thorns and feet in excellent condition. The glass fluoresces green/yellow in strong UV light due to the addition of uranium oxide, but I am afraid I do not have the facilities to photograph this. The larger has tiny fleabites to 5 thorns and 3 feet. Felt rather than seen. It also has a swirl(not a crack) from manufacture- shown in pictures 6 and 7. The smaller has roughness to 5 thorns and 2 feet. But I think on the whole, for objects of such age and delicacy, they are in great condition. The feet have ingrained dirt and dust. Pretty Victorian glass sugar sifter or dispenser is made of uranium or vaseline glass, it glows really well under the uv light. It has an EPNS lid which is rubbed and an EPNS rim on the bottle. The body of the sifter has a coin dot pattern in the glass. It is really gorgeous. It is approx 14 cm high and the base has a diameter of 4.5 cm. It is in verygood condition. The jewelry box of uranium frosted glass in Art Deco style was made from the Pre-war ORIGINAL MOLDS 1930's by Heinrich Hoffmann and Curt Schlevogt in Czechoslovakia. Uranium glass is glass which has had uranium added to a glass mix before melting for coloration. Uranium glass was once made into tableware and household items. But fell out of widespread use when the availability of uranium to most industries was sharply curtailed during the Cold War in the 1940's to 1990's. Item: An original English Art Nouveau period epergne holding 3 lemon vaseline glass uranium trumpet shaped flower holders with semi opaque highlights sitting on a brass stand. No makers marks. Overall height is around 9.75 inches. Base measures around 10 inches by 4.25 inches. Condition: One flower holder has been damaged and stuck back again and it will not hold water. No other damage to the other 2 holders.Some flea bites on the pointed edges which fit into the stand. The stand is showing as brass but it may at one time been silver plated. Antique VASELINE URANIUM GLASS Open Salt / Nut Dish Applied Feet
Welcome to my auction for this really pretty piece of glass from c.1890. Probably an open salt or nut dish. Hand blown, with an opalescent band around the middle, and applied feet. It looks like a flower. I can't find this particular shape in my open salt books so it is quite unusual. Most likely British although I am not completely sure. Condition& Size: It is in really lovely condition with just one really tiny fleabite on one of the feet which is hard to see. There is hardly any surface wear- it looks like it has only ever been used for display. Overall diameter is 4.75" The inner recess for the salt/nuts is about 1.5" and 1.75" high.
