VICTORIAN ENGRAVED SHAFT AND GLOBE STOURBRIDGE CUT GLASS DECANTER C1880 A good Late Victorian shaft and Globe decanter. Wheel cut engraved with a fruiting vine. Stopper is original and has matching engraving. Dating to around 1885. Height 11.5 inches. Body diameter 5.5 inches. Condition. The decanter is unstained. The only fault is some nibbling to the inside of the rim where the stopper fits through use. The stopper is fine. And there are no other chips cracks or restorations. Hand painted and hand blown small mug in opalescent milk glass over peach glass and decorated with enameled flowers from the 1860 to 1890 period(for full details. Ask us about specific details to your address) ITEM DETAILS: A pleasingly cheerful glass cup or mug will brighten up your home or work area as you enjoy your favorite daily beverage. This little mug has fine features and a hand made and applied handle with 18 ribs on it. The lower handle terminal is accented with gold and expands into a cyst with pointed edges that glow a fiery opalescence orange as strong light passes through it. The squat ovoid shape of this cup is reminiscent of much. Much older cups and mugs from medieval times to the 1600s. But it is not that old and ... moreinstead dates from the middle Victorian period(c1860 to 1890) The base was formed by dipping the gather in a shallow dip mold to create a shallow pedestal base. The bottom of the base also shows evidence of being hand blown and then placed on a marver covered with sand while the handle was attached. The mouth of the cup has been ground and polished along with each side of the rim so that the result is a gently beveled rim edge with no sharp edges. The simple enamel leaves, branches and blossoms are hand painted and nicely complement the peach colored interior. The colors are subtle and include two shades of brown(light brown and a darker caramel brown) gray, black, two shades of reddish pink, and a clean opaque yellow. The handle has gold in the flutes between the ribs along the expanded cyst that forms the lower terminal attachment. The end result of the two colors of translucent glass along with the hand painted decoration and the simple hand blown shape make this cup both attractive and appealing. A beautiful late 19th Century Thomas Webb cameo glass vase. It has a blue ground with white cameo. The cameo is in the form of flowers and leaves in naturalistic form and this extends around the front half of the vase. To the reverse is a butterfly shown in close up in image 6 for you. This is a typical feature of Webb cameo. There are no makers marks which is correct for this type of piece. The foot rim has two rings of white overlay and the neck has been etched in cell format. Victorian opaque hot worked rose bowl There appear to be 3 gathers(sommerso technique) Inner colour a powder blue- core of white and outer layer of primrose/lemony yellow I think this colour combination is quite rare. Description This antique late 19th century Victorian Arts& Crafts Stourbridge art glass pepperette. Is hand blown in clear crystal glass of double gourd form. The surface is decorated with very fine trailed green glass line, tightly spiralled around the piece from the top to the bottom. It has a beautiful white enamel script'Pepper' to the front and the base is finely ground and polished flat. There is a silver plated collar to the neck and is fitted with push fit silver plated lid. The lid has a small ball finial and star pattern of pierced holes with engraved rings to the edges. Two Stourbridge glass ? Victorian whiskey glasses
These are what i believe to be two early Victorian whiskey glasses. Beautiful thick heavy cuts, both are hand blown and have seeds and inclusions within the glass. They have at some point had the bases polished or reground this shows in a couple of the pictures, there are some nibbles and the odd chip to the bases on both, please look at the pictures which form part of the item description. The cuts are very sharp and after a while they are uncomfortable to hold other than by the rim, they may be older than i think, this is my own opinion on these and i might be wrong, both are crystal and heavy. Just under 4 inches in height. 3 1/4 inches in height 2 1/2 inches across the base. Victorian Cranberry & Vaseline Glass Vase Stourbridge Hand Made
A really top quality early Cranberry and opalescent glass ruffled vase. The Cranberry colour is around the top. The column has a white opalescent vaseline type broken line pattern that is slightly raised on the surface. The foot is large and early with striations and air bubbles. Uneveness to outline caused by being hand made. The vase was made in two pieces and the stem sits right into the base. Protruding out of the bottom where the pontil has been polished off. There is an uneveness to the circular shape of the base as if a chip has been ground out- so sold as seen. Personally I think this may have been done when it was made It is such an unusual pattern I have decided to list it any way. Definitely old and probably from Stourbridge area.

Victorian gothic frilled Stourbridge glass? green sugar bowl dish.
Victorian frilled bowl very Gothic looking and an unusual colour. This i think has been used as either a sugar basin or desert bowl as there is a circular mark to the inner base i think caused by a spoon, some broken bubbles to the inner rim with there are some small scratch marks to the glass, age wear to the base with a polished pontil and there is a small chip to one of the frills as per last two pictures. ANTIQUE c1880's VICTORIAN STOURBRIDGE ART GLASS INTAGLIO ENGRAVED CRYSTAL GLASS
Description This antique circa 1870-1890's Victorian Stourbridge art glass drinking glass. Is hand blown in crystal glass, the large bullet shaped bowl has a wrythen moulded spiral optical pattern on a short stem with ball joining a spreading foot. The bowl is very finely intaglio engraved with a bird which looks like a Cuckoo standing on a branch of spring prunus blossom, with wild grasses to the left side. The engraving is part polished and part matt for effect. The edge of the foot is scallop cut and the underside of the foot is finely cut with a star burst pattern. This superb quality piece is apparently unmarked but we believe it to be by Thomas Webb or Stevens& Williams of Stourbridge, and engraved by the likes of William Fritsche or Josef Keller, John Orchard and Joseph Schiller. CONDITION It is in good condition with only ... morea tiny blister/ bruise mark to the top edge of the foot which is hardly noticeable. Stourbridge glass vase/ewer Stevens & Williams? applied flowers thorn handle
Extremely pretty vase in milkshake pink(not the usual pink) the rim has an upturned lip as seen on Stevens and Williams!and three prong base to the handle.The handle has thorns and is in pale amber as is the stem and leaves.The applied white flowers are a lovely contrast to the pink of the vase and have a checkerboard texture.the middle of the flowers are clear glass.the base is clear glass and the pontil is broken.I am not an expert so if anyone knows any more about this I would love to know as there were similar vase made in Bohemia at the same time.
