The needlepoint area is 15” x15” and is in very good condition. I see 2 missing stitches but they are in the floral area and very hard to spot. The colors are rose. Burgundy, pink, green, blue, yellow and more on a pale pink background. Around the needlepoint and around the pillow I have a taupe balloon and beaded trim. It is on taupe embossed cotton velvet. The pillow measures approx. 22” x 22” filled. There is a zipper closure at the bottom for your convenience. There is a down and feather insert for a plush look and feel. VTG Pair White Salt & Pepper Shakers Pink Rose Needlepoint Design
This is a sweet pair of vintage salt and pepper shakers. White with a pretty pink rose needlepoint pattern. No maker's mark. These shakers are ~ 4.50" tall and are ~ 2" x 3" at the base. The Pepper shaker does have its cork stopper- I was unable to seat the stopper in the opening so it's loose inside the shaker. The Salt shaker is without its cork stopper. The bases have some roughness along the edges. There are two tiny chips along the edge on the base of the Pepper shaker and one small chip on the upper left edge of the Salt shaker. A few fleabites. I see no other chips or cracks. Very light crazing is noted most notably on the bases. These shakers are not new but well-used vintage shakers with some light staining near the bases and at the tops. Old Original Handmade Victorian Needlepoint Rose Tapestry for Chair Back & Arms
Here is a gorgeous set of three completed needlepoint pieces for a Victorian chair. These were found in an old estate and are original. The sizes are 15 1/2" x 19" on the larger one and approximately 6" x 10" on the smaller ones(one is a little longer) I believe the larger one is for the back of the chair while the smaller ones would fit the arms. The pattern is a large bouquet of pink roses with. Lavender, and yellow flowers all on a mauve background. The needlepoint itself appears clean and undamaged with no holes. I do see rust stains around the small holes surrounding the needlepoint from where it was tacked to the frame. It was this way when I received it. The canvas is a tan cotton(almost like a gunny sack but softer) that someone hemmed to keep from unraveling while being worked on. This was purchased from an old local estate. Looking at other stools similar to this one that I've seen on ebay and google images it appears to have the French Louis XV style to it. BEAUTIFUL 1930s Rose Needlepoint Bench W/Carved Detail
This is an absolutely gorgeous bench with all original upholstery. In fact. The handwritten sticker from the upholsterer is still on the bottom dust cover! This bench is about 40 inches long. 18 inches deep and 23 inches tall. The needlepoint upholstery is stunning and in quite good condition. I see some light fading and perhaps a light spot or two. I haven't tried to clean this at all. The needlepoint is still strong and sturdy. On one end. The satin upholstery has a tear as shown. Lots of decoration on this bench! The decoration seems as though it is applied in some places and carved into the wood in places. Two small areas of wood gone. Perhaps chewed by a pup? All could be repaired fairly easily if needed by making molds of the missing decoration and applying/tinting them. I just never got around to doing this, and some people like ... morethings to be original. I can't make out who the upholsterer is since the paper labels are torn- Studios" is all I can make out besides the fact that the upholstery is"rose" something. Antique Walnut Taboret Bench Stool Needlepoint Cushion Rose Butterfly
This is a ornate antique bench with a needlepoint cushion. It measures approx. 20 3/4" tall. 21" long and 15 1/2" wide. The base is made of solid wood(I believe it is walnut) that has a dark finish that is worn/scratched. There are 2 small and 1 large knob on each end, they do turn and have dowels between them, the wood piece behind one of the small knobs and the small knob is broken off and missing. I do not know how this stool is meant to fold but others that I have seen listed do say they fold. The cushion is covered with a large piece of needlepoint that has an olive green background with pink roses, foliage and butterflies in the center. It is not worn, ripped or faded but it fits slightly loose. This old stool has a wonderful antique look, it could be used as is or restored. This is a vintage. Revlon Love Pat, demi-tasse mirror compact that's been finished in brushed goldtone. The hinged cover has a needlepoint rose in the center that's surrounded by an ornate ring of textured goldtone. Inside, there is a mirror in the cover, a pat(with an R for Revlon on it) and a tin of makeup that appears to be nearly full. The sticker on the bottom of the compact says"misty rose" but I can't guarantee that's what the makeup is on the inside. It does have a rosy hue to it though, so I'm thinking it probably is what it says. The compact measures just under 2" in diameter and is 9/16" thick when it's closed.
