Throughout the glass are tiny air bubbles. And the glass shades from an aqua green at the base to an olive green around the throat and top rim. This ewer stands about 10" tall and 6" wide, with a hand applied floral decoration. There is a pontil scar on the base where the piece was removed from the blow stick. For its assumed age, it is in very good condition; some loss of applied decoration, an internal crack on the handle and the spout appears to have been knocked down or reduced. A Fine Victorian Pewter & Cranberry Glass Ewer c1880
this fine Victorian ewer I think dates to around 1880. The ewer is made of cranberry glass that is encased in an ornate pewter covering and handle as seen in the photos, there are ornate designs and faces around the centre and has fantastic colour and patina with age, the jug would have had a hinged lid which is missing but a stopper could be used as a replacement, the jug is lovely quality and measures 11 inches high, there are a couple of tide marks inside the glass that could possibly be cleaned but otherwise in pretty good condition just a little tarnished with age

Cracks or hairlines with just some marking on internal surface of neck and on internal base probably due to use as vase and small, barely noticeable fault to side dating from time of manufacture. Pontil is rough, as is often the case, and bubbles are visible in the handle, which was the norm in the early 1900's and before. Please have a look at photos for better idea of condition. Beautiful dragon handle vase. Unfortunately it is broken. All pieces are present and appears to be cleanly broken. All pieces are from the base. Victorian 1840-1900. I have for offer a bautiful antique hand painted decorative glass& metal ewer. This item features a wonderful hand painted roses scene with a metal handled top& decorative base. This item is tall& measures approx. 19" inches tall& 7" inches wide. The hand painted glass part measures approx. 9" inches tall. The metal parts are a pot metl or possibly pewter. The base features lion heads on each corner while the top has an image of King Neptune on the spout& a bird of prey as part of the handle. VICTORIAN COBALT BLUE GLASS VASE EWER GILDED
I have here for auction this pretty Victorian cobalt blue glass vase or ewer with applied clear glass handle. It has been hand decorated with white flowers in enamels.The leaves are gilded as is the rim. It's 6.5" tall and 3" across at its widest. It comes in very good antique condition with no damage. There is no wear to the decoration or to the gilding. Please see my pictures.

Antique Brass Cherub Victorian Ewer Decorated w/blue flowers on Bristol Glass
This is a beautifully hand decorated Antique Victorian Ewer with Cherub ornate decor on the handle. The cast metal appears to have mostly brass content. The hand enameled blue and yellow flowers are very finely detailed and above the flowers the glass is in a very pale yellow. I am pretty certain that it is bristol glass. But I am not an expert so I cannot be 100% certain. It looks as though it could also be used as a lamp base as well. It was in my grandmother's antique collection and has been passed on down a few generations and kept in a glass cabinet so there isn't much wear at all. The Ewer stands 12 1/2 inches high. Stourbridge glass vase/ewer Stevens & Williams? applied flowers thorn handle
Extremely pretty vase in milkshake pink(not the usual pink) the rim has an upturned lip as seen on Stevens and Williams!and three prong base to the handle.The handle has thorns and is in pale amber as is the stem and leaves.The applied white flowers are a lovely contrast to the pink of the vase and have a checkerboard texture.the middle of the flowers are clear glass.the base is clear glass and the pontil is broken.I am not an expert so if anyone knows any more about this I would love to know as there were similar vase made in Bohemia at the same time. The base is acid etched translucent glass with no color. The pinkish tinge in the photos is the red background showing through. It has handpainted POPPIES. The metal parts are silver in color, spelter? There is a number on the bottom: 247. The style is quite Victorian or Art Nouveau. You are bidding on this antique. 16" tall, Mary Gregory style, Glass Ewer or Pitcher shown. The glass is a light green color, with white enamel hand painting decoration. Very sorry folks, but this piece has a few problems, please look closely at my pictures) it has a chip on the base edge, there is a stable crack to the lower handle, and there is a few grinding spots to the glass at the lower end of the handle, and the inner bottom has some white staining. Size, 16" high to top of the handle, the base is just under 4" in diameter. The adorable hand painted scene is of a little girl offering a flower to a little boy. The background is trees and flowers.
