The iron and brass work does have the usual scuffs, marks, tarnishing and scratches that you expect from a used item of this age. I have tried to show the condition in the photographs. One of the tunes has a small missing piece of glass to the rim. All have their stoppers and these are stuck in places, I haven't tried to force them out in case I cause any damage. Three have their contents. The top of the central shaft is embossed with the makers and model details, it also has a Royal crest. This shaft is hollow and it holds two test tubes.

1854 Antique Victorian Bohemian Cased Vaseline Hand Painted Glass Compote Bowl

Glass bowl is cased glass with opaque white on the exterior and satin vaseline on the interior which does glow a neon green. Lovely enamel geometeric motif is hand painted with silver and gold accents through out the interior of the bowl. The bowl has a pressed puffy scalloped rib/ panel and the rim is nice crimped with multiple ruffles. Along the edge of the crimped rim has a ribbon of satin crystal. The repousse base is stamped with a number 12. I do believe and it is stamped by hand with a name, possible provence, and date of 1854. The style of the hand written name. Etc. is done in dots( to form letters and numbers. Ludewig Barmese and 1854 is the only interpretation I could make out. The base is filled for weight ... moreand covered with old felt. Bohemian origin. Not signed. Believed to be attributed to Harrach. Condition of the glass: No visible chips. One teeny flake chip was found by touch along the underneath of the rim or deep folds. No hairline breaks or fading in the hand painted decor. Metal base is in excellent condition considering age. Has one dent at the bottom of the base and there is a hairline on the stem. Measures 6" tall. 11"diameter rim and the base is 4-1/4" diameter. Wooden base is not included. Shipping Information: Ship anywhere outside of the USA. Quote can be given upon request. This little mug has fine features and a hand made and applied handle with 18 ribs on it. The lower handle terminal is accented with gold and expands into a cyst with pointed edges that glow a fiery opalescence orange as strong light passes through it. The squat ovoid shape of this cup is reminiscent of much. Much older cups and mugs from medieval times to the 1600s. But it is not that old and ... moreinstead dates from the middle Victorian period(c1860 to 1890) The base was formed by dipping the gather in a shallow dip mold to create a shallow pedestal base. The bottom of the base also shows evidence of being hand blown and then placed on a marver covered with sand while the handle was attached. The mouth of the cup has been ground and polished along with each side of the rim so that the result is a gently beveled rim edge with no sharp edges. The simple enamel leaves, branches and blossoms are hand painted and nicely complement the peach colored interior. The colors are subtle and include two shades of brown(light brown and a darker caramel brown) gray, black, two shades of reddish pink, and a clean opaque yellow. The handle has gold in the flutes between the ribs along the expanded cyst that forms the lower terminal attachment. The end result of the two colors of translucent glass along with the hand painted decoration and the simple hand blown shape make this cup both attractive and appealing. Cased in a thin layer of purple glass and then cut through this to the clear glass in a traditional diamonds pattern. The base is ground and polished, but the rim is rounded, not cut. Small but Lovely. I'd date this to between about 1890 and 1940. Size: about 8 cm wide x 6 cm high( 3 1/8 x 2 3/8 inches) Weight: 101 grammes Condition: Good- some light wear to the base and rim. A trail of clear crystal seashells applied around the vase, and five clear seashells to serve as the footed base. There is a rough pontil on the bottom of each vase. These are not marked. The vases are 13 1/4" tall and 5 1/2" across the top. They are in excellent antique condtion: No chips, breaks, repairs, or mineral deposits. I do feel a couple of scratches inside each vase. Description Reduced to lowest starting price in our spring sale is this antique circa 1870-80's Victorian Art glass bristol blue cased vase. Is hand blown with a very thin pale blue inside layer cased in white glass and further cased in rich cobalt dark bristol blue coloured glass. It is of oriental onion like form with slight ridges to the top of the neck and a neat foot. It is hand painted in raised white enamel with a bird alighted on the stem of a plant. The flat ground top rim has pale yellow enamel surface which would have originally probably been gilded, this has worn away, as has the original gilded infills to the white enamel decoration. 8425 Facon-de-Venise Antique Jug Description A very interesting late 19th century Venetian. Or facon-de-venise jug. It is in the 17th century style and has almost a gothic or ecclesiastical look. The jug body is baluster in form and it has a conical foot. The rim has a pinched pouring lip. The body is cased in plated mounts and white metal wire. It is a very attractive item with an unusual and striking look. It is perhaps a little small for wine so may have been used for stronger drinks. 19thC Victorian Large Marbled Spatter Glass Thorn Handled Opal Cased Basket
Description This beautiful and distinctive glass basket was made in mid-to-late- 19th century. Probably in Britain. The large and ornate basket has been hand-blown. And has a clear thorn handle, shaped like a natural twisted thorn stem, applied to the basket with a claw foot. The bowl itself is hand-blown from white opal glass cased in a deep and richly marbled spatter glass, in red and maroon, green, pink and yellowy-orange. The sides are deeply crimped and ruffled, and the basket has a hollow foot and a smoothly ground circular pontil. The basket is in excellent condition. With no damage, and just appropriate light age-related wear to the base, which is unmarked. It measures about 17 cm/6.5" high and wide. And 14 cm/5.5" wide across the handle. 2 antique tumblers cased satin glass feathered design ruby red and blue white
Two cased glass tumblers with satin glass finish and pulled feather design. Both are white satin glass on the inside. One is blue and the other is ruby red. Both have a white pulled feather pattern in the glass. Each measures approximately 4 inches tall, 2 1/2 inches in diameter at the top rim and 1 1/2 inches in diameter at the base. The blue tumbler has a very small flake in the outer blue glass that takes very close examination to find and shown in the photos. The red tumbler has several flaws in the glass near the top that are also shown in the final photos. This is a very pretty pair. Beautiful Czech/Bohemian/German Cut Cased Glass Electric Table Lamp 1860-1890 Presented is a beautiful c ut glass electric table lamp. Made in Bohemia or Germany. This electric table lamp is made of green glass cased in white. Which has been cut in a Gothic pattern to show the dark green glass underneath. The cuts have been accent with gilded patterns. We believe this was originally a vase, which was modified for use as a lamp, with a brass base and fittings added, as well as an electrified stalk with two light bulbs. This lamp is not marked. But the craftsmanship is clearly Czech, Bohemian or German. We would date this lamp from 1860-1890. The lamp is in good shape. There is some wear to the gilded decoration. Offered in this sale is a beautiful Victorian art glass basket that is cased pink over white molded with ribbed swirls and encased air trip ... morebubbles and an applied thorn handle that dates to the late 1880s. I am not sure where or by whom this piece was made. These baskets are often attributed to Stevens and Williams or Webb in England. However, similar baskets were made by the Phoenix Glass Company in Pa, and at Hobbs, Brockunier to name just a couple. Perhaps the distinct technique of the pattern is a"signature" of a particular factory that more astute collectors and/or dealers will recognize, however, I can only say for certain is that it is a period piece. It measures roughly 7 1/2" tall x 6" in diameter at its widest. The height of the bowl alone is 4 1/2" It has a ground pontil. The condition is excellent. There are no chips, cracks, flakes, hairlines or evidence of grinding. This is one of more than a dozen Victorian art glass baskets from a single owner collection that I will be listing for sale on Ebay over the coming days. Antique Ombre' Art Glass Basket Basket is blown of cased glass with a Spangle and Ombre' decor. At the rim. The colour begins with vibrant cranberry gradually fading into pure opaque white. The interior is completely covered with a Spangle mix of silver mica inclusions. The exterior is opaque white and the entire bowl is cased with colourless glass. Applied handle is colourless glass with a pressed. Reeded decor pattern. Rim is crimped with a tight ruffles and along the edge there is a ribbon of crystal clear glass.
