Antique blue opaline or milk glass dresser box casket in pretty much perfect condition measuring 4" high by 4 5/8" long by 3" wide. There is a small fold in the glass on the edge as shown that occurred during making and a tiny flea bite flake on the underneath as shown. The front piece is just an escutcheon shield shaped cover-at the time of manufacture I guess they could chose to either add a lock or cover the pre-cut out with a fake shield type escutcheon. Blue Opaque Greentown Milk Glass Stein Created 1910- 1915 The Westmoreland Specialty Company Knights Pattern#1 This was a"packer's item" and probably had mustard inside of it originally. This piece is in excellent shape. There is a mark on the mug that was fired into the glass. You can see this on several of the pictures. It is located near the rim. It is not a crack. Nick, fracture, or repair. There is some patina on it. Yes. I washed it- but I did not scour it. My intent was simply to remove the germs- that's it. I am assuming that this residue is either a cold paint that may have been used on the stein to sell and identify the mustard or it is simply spilled mustard. The color is more of a federal blue than anthing else.like a gray blue. Very much like the color of this print. The mug is quite heavy and measures about ... more4 13/16 inches in height. Vintage/ Antique Hand Blown Blue Glass Jug Milk/ Cream Polished Pontil C.1900 This is a beautiful handblown glass jug dating. In my opinion, from the late nineteenth century. It is of blue glass with a polished pontil mark and an applied handle- The blue is not that almost black dark cobalt, but a blue a bit lighter and greener in colour. Size: about 10.5 cm( just over 4 inches) high. Weight: 162 grammes Condition: no damage. heavy wear to the base. see the photographs. ANTIQUE 1880's BLOWN BLUE MILK GLASS A Friend VTG VICTORIAN HAND PAINTED MUG CUP A very pretty. 1880's, Victorian blown blue milk glass mug with an applied handle and hand painted. There is a rough pontil on the bottom and, when held to a light, has a lovely orange colored glow. It measures approximately 4 1/4" high x 3" in diameter at the top(not including the handle) and 2 1/8" in diameter at the base. The glass is mostly in good condition but does have one, small, chip on the rim(see 3rd photo) and a tiny flea bite that is not at all noticeable. There is some wear to the handpainted flowers and the" From A Friend" see photo) This is a very lovely, antique, Victorian blown blue milk glass and hand painted mug to add to any collection.
