This lovely Art Glass Vase measures approximately 8" tall. It features Pink to dark Pink. Black and White in Crystal, with a few spots of green& yellow, in a Spatter Swirl pattern. The Vase has a decorative 3 ribbed middle and a artistically slanted ruffled rim. I'm not sure of the maker-I've have seen similar vases that are called Antique French Legras. Also Czech. There are no identifying marks or paper stickers. This vase came from an estate where the previous owners were in their 90's. The vase has a small area where it feels a bit rough and there are some what I believe are"in the making" flaws. A Large Antique Victorian Black/Amethyst Glass Cat-c1880s.
This charming and rare Antique Victorian Glass Cat dates to around 1880 or thereabouts. I have sold miniature Victorian Cats similar to this before. But I have never seen this example. The Cat appears to be black. But when held to the light it looks more of an amethyst colour. It stands approximately 4 inches high and weighs around 178 grams. It is in lovely vintage condition overall. Although there are some signs of wear that are commensurate with age and use. This basically consists of chips to the ear tips. A shallow chip to the bottom edge and fleabite chips to the bottom edge. However. I find its condition very acceptable considering its age, and It will make a fine addition to any similar collection.

A VICTORIAN/EDWARDIAN TALL BLACK/RUBY GLASS VASE, HAND-PAINTED FLORAL PATTERN
A super Victorian/Edwardian black(ruby) Hand decorated, tall glass vase. Over the next few weeks I'm going to be selling off some of my collection of vases as I'm running out of room. I bought this lovely vase thinking it was black glass. But when I got it home and held it up to the light I found that it is a deep red in colour. Having said that, when it is on display it looks black. Judging by the shape and decoration. Which is a hand painted floral pattern in blue, white, yellow and brown, it is probably Victorian or Edwardian in age. The glass is very thin being just 2mm thick. It stands 12 3/4" 32.5cm) tall and is in excellent condition with no marks or damage. This is an antique glass bowl frosted on the outside with a bright orange band in the center of the yellow. And black rings in between. The orange is cut to clear in a flower pattern. The bowl measures 9.5 inches across and 3 1/8 inches tall. It is in great shape with no chips, cracks or damage. HUGE TOP QUALITY VICTORIAN MARY GREGORY BLACK AMETHYST GLASS VASE15.5"
PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR LOTS OF PHOTOS. This is a wonderful piece of Victorian enamelled glass. Unusual to have the original lid still. With excellent quality white enamelling in the'Mary Gregory' style. This is a spectacular display piece. No maker's marks to the glass, there is a squiggle to the base though. This vase dates to around 1880 or so. The vase and lid appear to be black, but Victorian black glass is always amethyst, and this is the darkest shade. With clever lighting you could show the amethyst through the white painted design. Condition is very good with no damage, but there is a small chip to the stopper bottom of the lid which is hiddedn when the stopper is in place. Measuring 15.5 inches(39cm) tall. Weight 600g. Wonderful quality.

Antiques. Collectables, Paintings, Fine Ceramics and Glass JET BLACK PRESSED GLASS MILK& SUGAR EMBOSSED THISTLE. Normal 0 A jug or creamer and cauldron shaped. Sugar bowl in black or jet glass. These are formed using pressed glass moulds and were a popular method of producing glassware at reasonable cost from the end of the 19 th century. Davidson. Sowerby and Jobling were manufacturers producing similar pressed glass. The sugar bowl has an embossed thistle on the bottom and may be Scottish manufacture. The jug has a more unusual handle than similar jugs. The pressed glass shape has 3 seams. Two textured bands and one at the top, which is smooth, and there is a scalloped rim. The base has a star decoration with a ground rim. Measuring 3¼ inches tall and 4¾ inches from handle to spout. There is a frit from one of the bands and ... morefaint usage marks. There are no cracks or restoration. The sugar bowl is an interesting piece in the form a cauldron on three legs. The bowl stands 3½ inches tall and is 6½ inches across the handles. The exterior pattern around the belly is the same as the jug. The pressed glass shape has 2 seams, The base interior has an embossed thistle of the manufacturer. There is a minute frit on the rim and very minute frit on the base of the feet which are the result of wear. Some faint usage marks. The 2 pieces are in great condition considering their age. A late 19th century Victorian period vase. It is produced in black glass which is opaque and features a pedestal style foot and upturned rim. The vase is unmarked but typical of Bohemian production made for export around the 1870-90 period. The vase is hand painted with floral subjects including rose buds and lily-of-the-valley. The enamel is done in high relief giving a textured effect. The reverse of the vase is left plain. The vase has a high gloss finish to the black ground. Antique Mary Gregory Bottle Decanter w/ Stopper Black Amethyst Glass Ghostly Boy Fishing Figure This beautiful bottle decanter is hand blown from what you would think is jet black glass but if you hold it to the light you will see that it is a very dark purple/amethyst colored glass. This glass is much thinner than some of the Bohemian copies of the period. The tapering baluster shape on a large base gives the maximum area for the circle of hand applied small white enamel dots. The white enameled Mary Gregory Ghostly scene is a boy fishing with a caught fish. There is gold gilt trim on the top and neck of the stopper. Gilt is also around the top of the decanter and the base. The gilt trim is worn some. The bottle measures 12” tall with stopper in place and 8-1/2” without the stopper. A really lovely George Davidson or Henry Greener Victorian Opaque Black Glass Basket with Original Gold Leaf Decoration on it's handles. Rim, base and floral sides, this has dulled over the years but is still in remarkable condition( the best I have seen! with only very minor losses here and there. It measures 4 1/2" high x 6 1/2" wide x 2 1/2" deep on it's base. It has no chips or cracks and is a very fine example of this particular glass basket.

Antique Glass Paperweight #41 Spirals of Bubbles and Miniscule Black Bits
This paperweight was the hardest to photograph. But definitely one of the coolest. There's a feeling of looking into space when you gaze into it. The central bubble is the biggest, then there are the four outer bubbles, but circling around these big bubbles is a spiraling trail of tiny bubbles, with bits of black in with them. It's beautiul, and very mysterious. I think it's old because it's got a LOT of wear to the base, but it's in excellent condition. Condition: You can see the small 1/4" place next to the base that was ground. Please note: I'll be selling a lot of paperweights in the near future. Vintage/antique hand blown art glass basket with a clear applied handle. The basket is a pretty blue in color with clear applied glass in the hobnail pattern on the exterior. The rim is in the form of petals with a black rim or crest. It has been hand blown and has a rough pontil on the bottom. The basket measures approximately 6 1/2 inches to the top of the handle. 5 inches in diameter at the top rim and 2 1/4 inches in diameter at the base. There are a few tiny spots of black ash from the making and four small rust spots at the bottom of the interior. On close examination there is a small flake in the glass on the interior next to the base of the handle and by touch there is a bit of roughness along the seam at the top of one petal. Vintage Black Glass w Silver Overlay & Lady decoration Deco Cream & Sugar Set
What an awesome pair- this cream and open handled sugar are done in black glass with a silver overlay on the handles and rims(top and foot) On the front of each is a charming lady decoration- she looks like she's done in the same silver with hand detailing. They have a great deco look and shape- the creamer measures approx. 5.25"H and 5.5" from spout to handle. The open handled sugar is approx. 5"H and 6" from handle to handle. There are no chips or cracks on either piece. The silver is tarnished. But appears to be in good shape. The lady decoration on each is still in great shape. They are original, old, and authentic. I'm not sure of the maker- more than likely one of the US elegant makers of the time. I am, also, not sure of the exact age, but my best guess would be late 1920's- they look to me to be Depression ... moreage or older. I haven't seen anything like them- outstanding. If used the other way, as a pedestal or shelf rise, it measures 9 1/2" tall, without frog. Either way, it is a very interesting old piece.
