Each is 7/8" diameter with no chips. Two our of three leaves have a heat check where it attaches to the stick- thorn vase. All thorns are present but two thorns are chipped. No hairline breaks on the stick vases and the base has no damage. The bottom of each narrow stick vase has water spots and just below the rim has a very faint water ring. Any flaw mentioned does not distract and is mentioned for accuracy. 100+ years old. Measures 6-7/8" tall. The base is 3-1/2" diameter. Listing includes one vase. This lovely Art Glass Vase measures approximately 8" tall. It features Pink to dark Pink. Black and White in Crystal, with a few spots of green& yellow, in a Spatter Swirl pattern. The Vase has a decorative 3 ribbed middle and a artistically slanted ruffled rim. I'm not sure of the maker-I've have seen similar vases that are called Antique French Legras. Also Czech. There are no identifying marks or paper stickers. This vase came from an estate where the previous owners were in their 90's. Antique Bohemian Harrach Cased Applied Pink Rose Blossom Art Glass Basket - Vase
Antique Bohemian Art Glass Basket Description of the Basket: Basket is blown of a cased glass and has a pillow- fan shape. Interior is of cranberry pink white glass. No damage. Exterior is blown of opaque white glass that does react a neon green under a black light. No damage. Nice applied pink roses on both sides of the basket. No damage. Stem is applied in amber and there is variegated applied amber leave s with green and red mix in each leaf. No D amage. The rim has an applied ribbon of amber along the edge and there is a teeny crack. As the 11th pic will show. A pplied hand is done in amber also and has a blob accent with drips at the top of the handle. No damage. Nice polished pontil on the flat base. No damage. Not marked and believed to be from Harrach. This beautiful French Art Glass Vase measures about 10" tall. It is in very nice condition with only light wear to the gilding. Opaline Glass was at the height of popularity in France around 1860. Rolled in silver foil, and cased again in crystal, and then formed into an unusual cylindrical profilef with a bulb in the neck, and with a bulbous shape bottom. Rim is ground flat. Foot is fired smooth crystal. Cased glass with pink. Canary and white spatter along with the addition of silver foil for a pretty silver spangle. The colors are outstanding. Beautifully applied ... morespiral pincered trail worked in the shape of stylized daisies. Alot of skilled craftsmanship went into the making of this little gem. Just think how long this little bushel basket has been around! At least 100 years? We certainly believe so. As the classic Northwood logo is present on the inside bottom of the piece. The prismatic colors that appear when light hits it are dominated by gold, but has some blues and pastels. This piece has definitely traveled, as it has the scars of its life to prove it. Antique Victorian Bristol Art Glass Impressive opaque enamelled& gilded glass vase- c.1840s. This auction is for a wonderful and very unusual quality piece of Victorian art glass. Although much of this decorated glassware is called"Bristol" glass. It is very difficult to actually attribute where it was produced as this style of glassware was made in many different countries including Czechoslovakia, America, France etc. It has a beautifully enamelled pink wild rose design in deep reds. Dusky pinks and pastel yellows on one side. I would describe the glass colour as an opaque light beige, it is over painted with good quality raised gilts. The base is clearly marked with a stylised pattern number'12' in red. This is an ANTIQUE IRIDESCENT ART/CARNIVAL GLASS BASKET/VASE. ca. 1920's-30's The Basket measures 10 1/4" tall 6" wide and 3 3/4" from front to back and weighs approximately 1 Pound. The Vase colors are nice iridescent hues of yellows and pinks(more apparent when sitting in the sunlight) There is a small under- the-surface crack on 1 edge on the bottom of the vase. There is also a chip on the inside bottom of the vase from a bubble that was in the mold at the surface of the glass. The painted flowers on both sides of the Basket are just about worn off completely. All that being said this is still a lovely piece. PLEASE SEE PHOTOS FOR DETAILS. This Vase needs to be cleaned. Victorian Art Glass Blue Rose Bowl This is a beautiful Victorian rose bowl or vase in pale blue and white satin glass. The rim is crimped and the glass shades from light blue to white. It has the smooth satin glass finish that was developed in the late 1800s. The finish is produced by putting the glass in an acid bath. Antique Victorian Bristol Art Glass White opaque glass vase with hand applied pink& green floral enamels. c.1840s. This auction is for a wonderful and very unusual quality piece of Victorian art glass. It has a beautifully hand applied foliage design in pink. Blue and green enamel with a pale pink flower swag running around the body. I would describe the glass colour as an opaque satin white with a peach over coloured stem. This piece has a satin glass surface and gold gilt edged base and top rim detail. The base clearly shows a hot snapped pontil mark. It's style and design if typical of it's period and would date this piece firmly to circa 1840s. Although much of this decorated glassware is called"Bristol" glass. Description Reduced to lowest starting price in our spring sale is this antique circa 1870-80's Victorian Art glass bristol blue cased vase. Is hand blown with a very thin pale blue inside layer cased in white glass and further cased in rich cobalt dark bristol blue coloured glass. It is of oriental onion like form with slight ridges to the top of the neck and a neat foot. It is hand painted in raised white enamel with a bird alighted on the stem of a plant. The flat ground top rim has pale yellow enamel surface which would have originally probably been gilded, this has worn away, as has the original gilded infills to the white enamel decoration.
