The paperweight has 2 flowers inside- the one at the top slightly larger than the underneath one. The flowers ar coming from a little vase or holder. It has lots of little bubbles in the glass& some of them are slightly rough on the surface. There are a few in one place which are opaque& a slight scratch both of which I have tried to show this in the photograph. It measures approximately 3 1/2" tall& 1 1/2" diameter at the base(which is not absolutely flat) Weighs approximately 600g hence the postal charge is rather high It is in very nice condition with defects as mentioned which are commensurate with the age& type of item. The fly trap is 8" tall and 6 1/2" in diameter with no damage or gross wear to note. We love to combine shipping when practical. North American customers just pay the most expensive shipping charge and pay only $2.00 more for each added item. Of course exceptions do apply(heavy or bulky items) and on the other side(light and unbreakable items) but you get the general idea. They have the usual enclosed air bubbles and striation marks but are in very good condition with no chips or cracks. One of the most unusual items i have had of late from house clearance,it is a original rolled crystal ball of approx 3" 7.5 cms] complete with roll marks inclusions ect, there are small circles of old air bubbles on the surface with the dirt of ages in,they will wash away if left to soak i have left it as found to keep the originality there are no chips or bruises,what i cannot show with the photos however is it is a most spectacular colour with petrol hues to the glass, the stand is turned fruitwood? black in colour and is as shown with a shrinkage crack where the wood has dried over the last 120 + years or more no wood is missing it has just opened up. Up for bid is a great piece to have if you're a collector or dealer of victorian glass. This is a desirable cranberry epergne base needing only 3 cranberry horns to complete is. It's also a great piece to have if you already own a cranberry epergne and want to have an extra base should the unthinkable happen. It has the typical wear on the very bottom of piece you would want to see in a piece of this time period. It also has the typical decorative brass mount for horns to be fitted it. A late 19th Century Victorian oak tantalus with Gothic style brass fittings. The body holds three cut glass decanters which all match and appear to be original. The decanters are accessed by unlocking and opening the flip type doors. Underneath the doors is a compartment with two moveable dividers. The lock is a Bramah type and still functions locking the doors. Although please note the key is a replacement. To the top is a shield plaque which is etched with‘The Widness Athletic Club 1887’ The decanters are of square form with hobnail cutting and chunky lapidary stoppers. An attractive Victorian glass dump type paperweight. It is an antique example and dates around 1880. It is in green glass as typically found for these pieces and they were thought to be made at provincial glass factories. This example is of torpedo shape and has a disc foot for added stability. It has been quite carefully made for its type and it features three tiered flowers set with air bubble centers and a pot beneath. This paperweight is a nice example of its type and more carefully made than average. 3 Different Victorian Cut Glass Wine Glasses(19th Century) These are 3 very nice small Victorian English wine glasses each with a different type of cut around the bowl. Although they are not marked(signed) I believe they are English and date to the late 1880's-90's The one shown in the second photo above has 7 round flat cuts around the base of the bowl and has a gadget mark on the bottom of the foot. It is approximately 4 inches(103mm) high. 2 inches(51mm) diameter and weighs 3oz(85 grams) The next wine glass shown in the third photo down has 10 oval flat cuts one third of the way up the bowl and has a ground and polished pontil mark on the foot. 19thC Victorian Cranberry Glass 3-pce Silver Plated Faceted Cruet Set A really pretty antique cruet set of Victorian cranberry glass- likely to have been made in England in the late 19th or early 20th century. The three-piece set comprises a salt. Pepper and lidded mustard jar with mustard spoon. The pieces are panel cut with numerous faces, and have silver plated EPNS lids. The mustard has a neat little finial and an elegant curled open handle. The set is in very good condition. With no damage to the glass, just a couple of very tiny fleabites on the rims beneath the lids- the pepper lid has a couple of tiny dents, and there is slight tarnishing to the bottom edges of the silver plate- but the pieces are all nice and clean and fully usable. Victorian Water / Lemonade Set - Coudersport? Dugan? Pitcher and 3 glasses
JUST REDUCED! Up for bids is a Victorian-era lemonade or water set. I am selling this for an elderly friend; this belonged to an elderly aunt of hers that passed away in the 1970's. Since that time. It has been in climate-controlled, smoke-free storage. I do not know the maker of this set; however. I have seen several on Ebay very similar listed as either Coudersport or Dugan. I want to stress that I can not say for sure who made this; I am just making a hopefully educated guess! This set is in very good condition for its age. The tumblers are 4 inches tall and hold 10 ounces when filled absolutely to the brim. Some of the paint around the edge of two of the tumblers' top borders have a little messy or smudged paint. I took picture of the worst spot. One tumbler has a small rough spot. They. As well as the pitcher, have the characteristic ... morebubbles in the glass where blown. When I held each tumbler up to eye level, I can still see that all three have their gold rim. There are no chips or cracks. The tumbler is a generous 76 ounces and stands about 9 1/2 inches at its tallest part. Like the tumblers. There are no chips or cracks. There is some age-related paint loss or fading, but I think it is at a minimum. The mold mark in the bottom is very rough. I have spent a good deal of time with reading glasses on in a sunny room trying to look over this set; I try to be as honest and accurate in my descriptions as possible. Tall Victorian Antique ** PENNY LICK ** Ice Cream Glass #B (3.85" High)
A tall late 19th century Victorian clear glass two part mould penny lick ice cream glass with thick glass pedestal stem.Circular pad foot base and long funnel shaped bowl- the thick glass disguised the fact that the actual bowl was very shallow. Glass penny licks were used to serve ice cream.Mainly by street vendors,at a cost of one penny per serving.Once the customer had licked the glass clean it would be returned to the vendor for reuse frequently without washing.Penny licks were replaced by wafer cones at the beginning of the 20th century because of hygiene problems,consequent illness and spread of disease. 8505 Three Bistro Rummers Description A set of three late 19th century rummer glasses. The style is that used in pavement cafe's and these examples may well be of French rather than British origin. The glasses are made in soda glass and have baluster shaped stems. The bowls are of cup form and they have been etched with hops and vines suggesting their intended use was for ales. The size(about the same as a current small wine glass) would indicate they would have served fine quality ales rather than regular beer. A pleasing little group. Condition Two in good order for the period with just minor wear. The third example has a bruise to the rim. But no sharp edges so could also be used if required. 3 Fabulous Antique /Vintage Early Victorian Drinking Glasses - Lovely Engravings
3 really pretty Victorian drinking glasse. Two of the glasses are clearly a pair. These glasses have pretty ferns and flowers engraved onto them. The other glass has a lovely grape vine engraved around it. The three glasses are all hand-blown and very well made. They are all nicely shaped, very sweet and dainty. The pair have polished pontil marks while the other is rough. Due to being hand made there are some rather charming imperfections, the bases aren't completely circular and the pair aren't perfectly matched. These imperfections all add to the character and charm of these glasses though. There are some encased inclusions in the glass. There appear to be no chips or cracks in the glasses. Antique Victorian Faceted Cut Stem Round Funnel Bowled Ale Glass 1/3 Pint c 1850 Lovely Antique Victorian Faceted Stem Ale Glass. Circa 1850. Offered for sale with no reserve! Here is an opportunity to acquire a lovely Victorian faceted stemmed ale glass with an round funnel shaped bowl. It is made of blown glass with tooling marks. Striations, bubble inclusions and has a plain foot. The stem has been facet cut. It dates from around 1850 and has a gadget mark on the base. The glass stands 5 3/4 inches tall and has a bowl diameter of 2 1/2 inches and a foot diameter 2 3/4 inches. It weighs a total of 254g unpacked. It is in excellent condition for its age- see above for details. This would make a great addition to any collection of antique drinking glasses and a very useable as well as decorative item. Perfect LARGE VICTORIAN "PENNY LICK" Ice Cream Stemmed Glass 3.75" tall
Large Victorian"Penny lick" glass in excellent used condition. No chips or cracks. Stands 3.75 inches tall with a base diameter of 2.5 inches, rim has a 2.25 inch diameter. Used to serve ice cream in the 19th century. This stemmed glass has a partially filled bowl to create the illusion of receiving far more ice cream than you actually did! 3 day listing only for an enchanting piece of English history. Which wasn't around for long due to these being simply rinsed before being used again. In Victorian times, a sure recipe for the spread of disease amongst children!

Antique Victorian c 1850 Blown Quality Cut Glass Small Cream Jug 4 3/4 inches Here we have a very elegant quality cut glass cream jug dating from around 1850. It is made of blown glass and has a star cut base. It is a heavy item and beautifully cut with panels and flute type cuts and a little thumb cut at the top of the handle for comfort when pouring. The jug has a very appealing shape with its long spout. It could be used as a cream jug or for adding a drop of water to your dram! Alternatively it could be used as a posy vase. It is a very decorative item and stands 4 3/4 inches high and approx 4 inches wide. It weighs 315g unpacked and condition is good- outlined above. Set 3 Graduated Victorian Pale Green Glass Covers Bell Jar Display Domes Cloche Here we have a beautiful set of three graduated antique glass food covers. Domes or cloches. They are very decorative and look great displayed in a kitchen or dining room or even for use at the table to cover cheese, for example. It is unusual to find a set of three and they date from around 1880- 1890 so have been together for a long time! The covers are made of a very attractive pale green coloured transparent glass and are fairly fine in body thickness and are well made. Hand blown items. The largest cover is 7 1/2 inches high and has a diameter at the base of 5 3/4 inches. The middle sized dome is 6 inches high and has a diameter of 4 1/8 inch and the smallest is 5 1/4 inches and 4 inches. Together they weigh 947 g unpacked. Condition is excellent.
