The Decanter and Stopper are Blown Glass which was then expertly cut and polished. The Decanter is unsigned but I am almost positive it would be Baccarat as most early Baccarat was never marked. It is important to note that both the Decanter and Stopper are etched with the same numbers so you know they are a true match. The Decanter is also an unusual diminutive size, I believe for Sherry or other fine liqueur standing" tall to the top of the stopper or the bottle itself stands 7-3/4" tall by 4" wide and will hold 375ml or 13 U.S. Fluid Ounces. 19thC Victorian Cranberry Glass 3-pce Silver Plated Faceted Cruet Set A really pretty antique cruet set of Victorian cranberry glass- likely to have been made in England in the late 19th or early 20th century. The three-piece set comprises a salt. Pepper and lidded mustard jar with mustard spoon. The pieces are panel cut with numerous faces, and have silver plated EPNS lids. The mustard has a neat little finial and an elegant curled open handle. The set is in very good condition. With no damage to the glass, just a couple of very tiny fleabites on the rims beneath the lids- the pepper lid has a couple of tiny dents, and there is slight tarnishing to the bottom edges of the silver plate- but the pieces are all nice and clean and fully usable. Beautifully cut with faceted waisted/footed shape, with relief concave roundels to upper body, flower shaped foot and rounded radial cut base. Origin is either English Victorian or Bohemian; similar styles were popular in the mid-late 19th century. Very nice condition with the only damage being a very discreet bite to the top of one of the cut roundels. Here we have lovely examples of mid to late Victorian hand blown glass. A pair of trumpet bowl wine glasses on a plain foot with a gadget mark on the base. The gadget was a tool used for a short period from about 1860 to 1890 to hold the glass whilst it was being made. The tool was to replace the pontil and pontil iron and has a distinctive"Y" or"J" impression on the base of the foot. Sometimes accompanied with two lines on the top of the foot. These two glasses were made either for a pub(public house) or for the less well off to use. They are charming. Cheap, simple yet elegant form. There is quite a lot of wear marking to the base. ... moreThe glasses have tooling marks and have some bubble inclusions. They are of a slightly differnet size and colour. They measure approximately 3 3/4 inches high. 1 3/4 inches diameter at the rim and have a base diameter of 2 inches. They are in very good order. They weigh 171g unpacked. The stem of the flute is decorated with crimped applied clear glass rigaree trailing all the way up, and the widening neck has a wavy rim. The flute and decoration are in very good condition. One octagonal, 5 are flat-topped, the tall pear-shaped one has circular'dots' cut around the globe at the top. Most are hollow with a'whirlpool' twist visible inside running down into the base. Description This beautiful and distinctive glass basket was made in mid-to-late- 19th century. Probably in Britain. The large and ornate basket has been hand-blown. And has a clear thorn handle, shaped like a natural twisted thorn stem, applied to the basket with a claw foot. The bowl itself is hand-blown from white opal glass cased in a deep and richly marbled spatter glass, in red and maroon, green, pink and yellowy-orange. The sides are deeply crimped and ruffled, and the basket has a hollow foot and a smoothly ground circular pontil. The basket is in excellent condition. Antique 19thC Victorian Jewelled Enamelled Handblown Water Jug Pitcher
Description This is a beautiful glass jug. Made by one of the English glassworks in the mid to late 19th century. This pretty water jug or pitcher is hand-blown from clear glass. And ornamented with jewelled and enamelled patterns on all sides. There is gilding around the neck and in bands around the body, with rings of white daisy-like spots. There are five-petalled blue flowers with white centres around the middle, and larger white daisy-like flowers with red jewel centres around the top. Further white enamelled flowers and swags are around the lower section. There is an applied ribbed handle with claw foot and a snapped-off pontil mark. The jug is in very good condition with no damage. But there is wear to the gilding around the top of the body and the rim, and one red glass'jewel' is missing. This is a very stylish Victorian lustre complete with a full set of cut glass droppers.All in excellent condition. The vase is green Bohemian glass.Gilded by hand with bands of Greek key pattern and scrolling foliage.It has a pleasing trumpet shape with a fluted edge which is lovely for display and will hold flowers well.The gilding is a little worn but the glass is in perfect condition with no chips,cracks or restoration,just bubbles in the glass here and there.It measures 24.5 cms high and 11 cms diameter across the base. 19thC Victorian Stevens& Williams Pink Alabaster Glass Frilled Jug + Rigaree This beautiful antique glass jug was likely to have been made by the Stevens& Williams glassworks at Stourbridge in the West Midlands. And will date to the art nouveau era around 1890-1900. The handblown glass body is formed from a rosaline pink glass with a creamy-white'alabaster'applied handle with a claw foot. The baluster-shaped jug has a deeply ruffled crimped rim. And a trail of pale blue rigaree leaves around the lower half. The jug is in great condition. With no damage. 19th C VICTORIAN HEAVY PRESSED RUMMER GLASS This is a heavy 5.8" high rummer which dates from the Victorian times. The top diameter is 3.25" and the base the same. I t was press moulded in 4 sections.The moulded decoration are printies(thumb print shapes) and a beaded section underneath. It is in very good condition. Complete with imperfections, air bubbles and striations all characteristic of glass manufactured at the time.
