Antique Miniature/ Child Tilt Top Candle Stand Late 1800's 15 inches tall
This is a rare miniature antique tilt top candle stand. It is about 15 inches tall and the top measures about 11 inches by 8 inches. The top looks to be mahogany and the base is a different type of wood possibly maple but more likely pine. The top looks like it has been reattached to the holder and their was another minor repair at the top of the base as shown in a close up picture. The legs may have been reattached at some point but I'm not sure. It's very sturdy and a very beautiful little piece. Please refer to the pictures and thanks for looking.

Federal Tilt Top Candle Table - Stand 1790-1810. Needs restoration.
This table has been appraised by one of the premier auction houses in New England. The base is definitely Federal period. 1790- 1810. There is some doubt about the top being original to the table. But the top is old also and has inlay around the edge. The top is faded from being under a window in the sun for much of its life. The base has some issues, but still was valued at $200 to $250.
