Miniture Antique Domino Set
An astonishing piece of antique craftsmanship. The pound coin next to it gives an indication of its size. It measures 38mm Lx26mm D x 33mmH Probably from India but possibly made by a sailor or a Napoleonic prisoner of war. This is all carved from"organic" material. It is 50 years old to my knowledge. I don't play dominos so have no idea whether 26 tiles is correct but that's what's there.

Normally I start my listings with"I am selling this. In this case it will be different. When I first saw this clock I couldn't say anything at all and I've been thinking for days how the description should look. I'm done finding the words. Which wasn't easy at all. Because. Let us be honest, the photo's speak for themselves, don't they? 12 photo's are not enough to show this clock in its full glory; it took me a day to make a selection and I'm still not happy about the restriction of 12 photo's. After a couple of days of thinking. I decided it will be sold, where in first place I wanted to keep this beauty myself. Ok.there we go: First of all the date: couldn't add a photo of it because of the 12-limit but there is a date underneath the clock. Handwritten, which says 21/7/39; which means it is ... moresold 21 July 1939. Vintage. On the edge of antique. The year 1939 was the BAUHAUS period on its top! Next to the handwritten date. There is an original white and orange label saying"DANSK ARBEJDE" which means this clock is made in Danmark, completely by hand. The most beautiful about this Gustav Becker is. What I think, the roof. The full body of this baby is made of NUT wood in high gloss. But the roof is something special because it is curved. It is IMPOSSIBLE to show the shape of it on a photo. The front/sides have NUT wooden inlay. Which has been so beautifully done, I have kept looking at this for hours. The"legs" are carved and have been placed in a way that there are 3 visible at front and 1 at the back. Just to impress the viewer. Then there is the door. Which has square, curved glass. The curved lines of this glass are MUCH heavier then I have ever seen on a clock. The reason of this"bulb" is to have it perfectly matching the roof and the other round shapes. The dail is made of metal showing the time in Arabic numbers; the hands come in Chrome as goes for the edge of the door. In one word: BALANCE. The chime has a very different sound then t

A late medieval German or Swiss Landsknecht sword of massive proportions. 100% a authentic sword antique Landsknecht sword. Circa 1400 As used by German& Swiss mercenaries in the Middle Ages. Although Excavated in Europe many years ago it is in a very solid& stable condition. Heavy surface pitting throughout. The blade still has a distinctive edge& the steel/iron is in very good solid bright condition& could still easily be used with devastating efficiency. The grips have long rotted away. The upper hand grip would have likely been bound in leather only with the lower grip in leather bound wood. The wide cross guard is round This quillion would have been used to deflect& trap the opponent’s sword. The sword was found on a castle in south germany. One IPOD touch 3rd Gen, it was purchased in 2009, it turns on, it SOMETIMES works fine but it often freezes, the screen seems not to respond to touch no matter how much pressure is used, and then it may go back to working, we took it to Apple store but the amount to fix it was too much for us. The other is an Iphone 3, it has a cracked screen, it worked fine for about a year but then started to freeze up and the screen go completely white.
