This listing is for an antique silverplate and pressed glass pickle castor with tongs. The only mark I can find is 65J. The stand measures 10.25" to the top of the handle. 1.75" to the top of the rim, 3.25" across the opening, and 3.75" across the bottom of the base. The jar is 4.25" to the rim, 3" across the opening, 3" across the bottom, and 6.25" to the top of the finial. There are several tiny chips on the bottom of the jar. No plate wear. The silver needs a little more polishing. Overall, nice condition. Shipping is based on 3 pounds, packed weight.

VERY RARE Antique Vintage Victorian Silver Thimble Etui cut glass scent bottle
Incredible silver Thimble forming a case(étui) discretely hiding a miniature cut glass bottle to hold scent or perfume. To perhaps refresh the'Lady' while sewing? There are no hallmarks that I can see but a Jeweller has assured me it is solid Silver. Similarly there is no size marked on the Thimble- Measurements: Diameter base thimble 1.6cms Diameter base etui 1.8cms Diameter crown of Thimble 1.2cms Height thimble 2.5cms Height étui 3.5cms The Thimble& Etui are in Excellent condition. Just the silver could do with some polishing, but I would rather leave that to the'experts' See the pretty engraved pattern around the center of the Thimble with also a'shield' engraved ready for initials! The Thimble screws onto the base holding the scent bottle. This screw works perfectly. The indentations on the base ... moreof the Etui I feel sure are there for a reason. Stunning antique handmade cranberry glass bowl with silver plated stand. In great condition. The glass bowl is perfect with no chips, cracks or defects. The silver plated stand shows signs of tarnish and slight wear to the finish as you would expect considering its age, this does not detract from the beauty of this piece. The glass bowl is superb. Simulating a strawberry in design. With its hand crimped and frilled edge having a green rim, and the bowl having a pattern of dots to give the effect of seeds(much better than the photo shows) With a delicate applied clear glass fringe. 14 cm across the widest part of the rim, 7 cm tall. I have seen a few of these but never one quite as well done as this one. The metal stand has a very ornate handle. On sits on lovely heart shaped feet. 15 cm across, 19 cm tall.

A late 19th Century liqueur sized decanter in the claret jug style. The body is of attractive conical form and is beautifully etched in intaglio style with swags and stylised flowers. The glass section is unmarked but would clearly appear to be a Stourbridge factory. Perhaps Stevens& Williams. The solid silver mount is of good heavy gauge and comes with a lid having a thumb lift. The handle is of looped form attached at the top only. The mount has London Hallmarks for 1893. It also has the makers mark for Horace Woodward& Co. The silver marks are a little rubbed as you can see in the close up image but can still be made out well enough to read. Beautiful Small Antique Cranberry Glass Pickle Castor with Silver Plate Mounts. This is a lovely. Small pickle castor or covered jam pot from the late 19 th or very early 20 th century. The cranberry glass is cased in clear glass. And measures 4 ¾” in diameter, and stands 3” to the silver plate rim. It has no damage, and shows age with several bubbles in the glass. The handle brings the total height of the piece to 6 ¾” There are no marks on the silver to identify the maker, but it is in excellent condition with minimal, if any, loss of plating. A late Victorian claret jug of round form with a Hallmarked silver mount. The body is decorated with arced panels of cross cut diamonds interspersed with fans. The body is also gently ribbed which gives a nice optical effect around the jug. The silver is Hallmarked for London 1891. It also has the makers mark EF HT which is for Edgar Finley& Hugh Taylor(Horace Woodward& Co) of Birmingham. A nice looking example and a little more unusual being of round form. Antique Silver Mercury Glass This is a lovely pair of decorative mercury glass with polished and matte silver fields raised with delicate hand painted enamel raised flowers. I am a bit puzzled. I was told they are candlestick Holders for thin tapered candles. I also think may have been bottles with missing stoppers or even delicate bud vases. The bottoms have holes that do not go all the way through, so they will hold water or liquids. They measure about 6.5" high and the bases measure about 2-3/4" across. The top portion is clear glass. Centers are matte silver and the round bases are shiny polished mercury glass. The openings are about 1/2 of an inch in diameter. They are in very nice condition with no chips. Cracks or repairs. This very unusual cruet stands 6-1/2 inches tall and is about 6 inches wide. Cut glass and etched with a grape design. It has a long spout and a bent neck. The sterling top of the stopper is an acorn shape. The lower edge of the acorn has a tiny dent and also a very small hallmark(or 2 hallmarks, one a mis-striket? I am unable to decipher the hallmark. The glass portion of the stopper has a thin, shallow channel running lengthwise. It is clearly from manufacture and is not a crack and does not compromise the piece, Very interesting and unusual. I was only able to find one other like it on the internet.

An Antique Aesthetic Design Claret Jug / Ewer with Silver Plated Mount
8424 Victorian Claret Jug Description A Victorian period antique claret jug. It is in the Aesthetic style with Oriental inspired imagery to both the body of the decanter and the mount. It dates around 1870 and is of good quality manufacture. The body is well etched with various patterns along with natural features such as a stork. A butterfly and plants. The handle has been formed in the shape of bamboo and the lid is knopped by an Oriental style seated figure. The glass used is of good quality and the etching is of a standard you would usually find on a solid silver mounted example. The jug also sits on a collar type foot and the pontil is ground and polished out. Another sign of quality work. A very stylish item which would also be ok to use today. It holds well over a standard bottle(750ml) Condition Generally good for period. Glass in ... moregood order with just minor wear. Antique Pink Brides Basket With Silver Plate Carrier
This is an absolutely stunning piece. It is so beautiful. This would make a wonderful breath-taking edition to any collection. The basket does come with the silver-plate base and carrier. It is a very pretty pink. Lighter pink at the top and gets darker as it gets towards the bottom, there is a darker pink spot on one side which I feel makes it much more unique and one of a kind. The bottom of the basket is made to fit into the silver plate carrier. The edging of the basket is ruffled with the clear glass all the way around the very edge. The outside of the basket is solid white, with just a hint of the light pink around the outside edge. The basket is 4 1/4" Height x 10 5/8" Diameter top and 3 1/4" Diameter at base. The silver plate basket carrier is footed. The handle part of the basket comes out to fit around the basket, ... morethen narrows as it gets towards top. There is a small unique ornate swag design at top of handle. The carrier is very elegant, and just the thing to help make the basket pop. I was unable to locate any markings. There is some of the silver plate wearing off of the handle and on the underneath of the base. Overall in good condition. The basket has absolutely no chips or cracks. EAPG Antique Victorian Era Playing Card Holder. The Victorian era emphasized ornamentation and they had a dish for everything! Many playing card holders were sold as souvenirs. They are found today in many different types of glass. Usually milk glass, clear, pink, and amber. The blue and silver is an unusual color combination. This one is blue glass with silver gilt decoration on all the raised edges. Very ornate design, lots of curliques and swirls. A different playing card suit emblem is on each of the 4 sides. The lines in the glass are near the bottom edges on 3 sides. And could have occured in manufacturing. There are many tiny bubbles in the glass also. The silver gilt is worn in several spots. ANTIQUE VICTORIAN GREEN OPALESCENT GLASS SALT BOWLS WITH A SILVER PLATED EPNS STANDS. EACH DISH MEASURES 5 1/4" AT THE WIDEST POINT. THE ACTUAL BOWL PART IS 2 1/2" WIDE X 2 3/4" TALL. BOTH ARE IN PERFECT CONDITION. NO CHIPS. CRACKS, OR SCRATCHES. I'M GUESSING ENGLISH MADE FROM LATE 1800's TO EARLY 1900's.

Antique English Glass & Silver Plate Ice Bucket - Reg. Number for 1868
A wonderful and very useful Victorian glass ice bucket with silver plated fittings and a silver plated drainer that sits on a series of plinths inside the bucket. The drainer allows for water to drip through so that the ice isn't sitting in water. What makes this a rather special and more desirable piece is the presence of an English design registration diamond shaped lozenge having been incorporated into the glass at the bottom of the interior. The registration mark is for February 8th 1878.
