Made of oak with a pressboard seat with floral pattern on wood and seat. There is no tray. But other than slots on the front of the arms, we find no indication that there ever was one. When positioned as a chair. It stands approx. 40" tall. As a stroller, it is about 45" long. It is all original including the original steel wheels. The handle is porcelain enamel. The hardware consists of pegs and straight-slot screws. There is some rubbing off of the finish and nicks and scratches. Particularly on the tops of the arms. As can be seen in the photos, one of the chair back supports was replaced along the way, but it's an old repair. Obviously. This is not for use for a child nowadays as it would not pass modern safety requirements, and is sold for display only. Beautiful addition to your decor or collection! Back of chair has a tole/ toleware style or Hitchcock style painted decoration, and appears to be from the 1930's-50's. Very old piece in nice shape for its age! Because the local estate this came from is located so close to Lancaster. PA, I do believe that is the likely origin of this old piece. The tole style painted portion looks very PA Dutch, which is another indication that it is in fact from that area, and may be an Amish or Mennonite piece. Local antiques that come from Lancaster County are either items owend by the Amish and Mennonite communities, or they were items made by Amish and Mennonite craftsmen. 1800s Eastlake folding nursing sewing rocking chair w Bird & Floral Tapestry
You are looking at a folding Eastlake rocker. Wood type(oak, walnut, cherry? not pine) This type of rocker has been called a sewing chair, a nursing chair and a slipper rocker. It has beautifully detailed carving in the wood. It may have been reupholstered and/or restained at some point. The fabric is in good condition with no rips or tears. It does not smell and has no stains. The back is carved ornamental spindles and the trim has some reeding in it. See photos 9& 10 which show the main"imperfections" in the chair including small chips and bubbles in the stain. This is a really old piece, I believe it is from the mid to late 1800's. The chair folds up and is smaller in size. I do not know the maker or exact date this chair was made. It is antique and will not be perfect. This is a mid 19th C. Boston Rocker" rocking chair that has been appropriately used for a very long time. This yellow painted chair depicts fruit on the top rail with gold and red decoration elsewhere. It is 40"H. 23.5"W, 36"D, with a 14.75" seat height. The rocking chair has the traditional rolling seat, curved arms, and seven thin and concave spindles which support the lower back. There is a crack in the center spindle, but it does not seem to affect the chair's use. There is also slight movement in the legs, but they are not lose. This chair easily supports my 230 lbs, and it is very comfortable. This is a great example of a Boston Rocker and the worn surfaces highlight the chair's comfort and longevity. Vintage 1950's Children's Doll Ice Cream Table and Chairs Set
This is a classic vintage 1950's children's set of doll house-style table and two chairs which I believe are referred to as an ice cream table and chairs set. Ideal for small children to play on with large-sized dolls. They are compeltely made of good old American steel. The table is 14" tall and has a metal surface that is 10" round. The two chairs are again all metal and are 9" to the seat and the metal seat is 4" round. They feature the twisted iron seat backs typical of ice cream parlor chairs of the era. The set was painted a solid red color when we got them and they are still that color. In EXCELLANT condition. With no dents or abuse visible. Pretty much indestructible. up for auction is a very fine antique large karpen griffin headed claw footed mahogany arm chair. this is a great chair with a very large size for karpen. it is 38 tall. 27 wide, with an 18 inch seat and a bit over 16 inches from the floor to the top of the seat. the griffins and claw feet are extremely well done, however the pictures are lousy and don't show the detail of the griffins, but they are of horner quality. it has huge claw feet that are the best, as well as boasting a wonderful large top crest that is sea shell carved with other important particulars. this is a great chair, however i have over 100 chairs in my house and need to dispose of some of them. it has been recovered recently with a tufted back. i paid i think 900 for it a long time ago and had it recovered, so my starting price is about what i have in it. it may be ... morepicked up at my home or shipped at buyers expense. i can help arrange shipment if that would be of benefit to anyone. good luck.

Stickley Carl Forslund Quaint Furniture American Grand Rapids Folding Table
You are looking at a rare folding table by Carl Forslund. Who had been a salesman for Stickley Bros. and then establishing his own business in 1935. The table still has the label on the bottom. It measures 36" x 18" and is 25-1/2" tall. The legs fold down for easy storage and locks in place when upright. This is such a convenience table to used and store which is why there are marks of wear and scratches. The wood is beautiful! Sorry, I am not sure what the wood is, but the pictures show it clearly. An early 1900's,4 slat rear mission style solid oak rocking chair. i am not sure if this is a gustav stickley or a piece from another similar manufacturer of the time. The seat is heavy and obviously reupholstered in the native indian motif. This rocker is solid with no loose pieces whatsoever. It does have have some knicks and scratches from use, and will need a good cleaning with some murphys soap, but overall a super fine example. Please ask any and all questions before bidding. Up for your bidding consideration is the wonderful signed. Gustav Stickley H Back Chair. I purchased this stunning piece from an estate sale in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was a one owner chair, in the family for over 100 years! It is in good shape considering its over 100 years old. The red Gustav Stickley stamp can still be seen on the chair. The style of stamp tells me its 1904-1907. The chair is still tight for its age, but does have flaws. The center back piece has some cracks, may have been repaired. I don't know if it has been recovered, but I would assume it has. It has a stamp underneath on the pad and I can only read"bose co. The chair has some scratches ... moreand the lower legs have some discoloring. The chair legs also have a pet odor to them. I haven't tried to clean the chair, to see if the smell would go away. It has a couple of pieces of veneer missing… A small piece at the very top of the chair and a piece on the front right corner of the chair– both are pictured. There is also a small crack where the bracket is mounted on the bottom of the chair. Also pictured. There are some scratches on the back of the chair. Also pictured. It measures 12” deep and 26” tall. When it is folded it is 28 ½” long. The chair is sturdy and has heavy metal brackets. I cannot find any makers marks on the chair. These are very similar to the Herman Miller but they are not marked except for one has an'SX' or'XS' marking molded in. These chairs have pieces of wood and gold foil embedded in the fiberglass. 3 are very nice with little wear. One has more wear and a very small crack. They measures 16.5" tall by 18.75" wide by approximately 20" front to back. A couple have paint specks that will clean off but overall they are very clean condition. They each have four embedded mounting bolts. The bolts measure approximately 7 1/4" center to center side to side, 7 1/8" center to center front to back, and 9 3/4" center to center diagonal. They will ... morecome with mounting hardware for size reference but you will probably want to replace as the nuts are rusty and the rubber washers are worn with a couple missing. Too cool. This is pretty sharp. It is a Chair back of some sort. maybe it's a beach chair. Not sure. Hopefully you will know. It is made of a lightweight wood with a woven back, caned. Arms flip up or down with a wooden notch underneath. 5 notches for adjusting, this measures total 21.5in.wide by 25.5in.tall. Back alone- 19in.wide by 2ft.tall. Arms fold down to over 10in. We believe it is maple. Top corners and bottom legs all have light marks and light wear which can all be rubbed out. I won't attempted to clean more than dusting. No tears. Rips or gauging. Late 1800's Hand Carved side chair with claw and ball feet. One of a Kind Piece of Art! Hand carved mahogany wood with intricate carvings of twisting and twirling flowers and foliage. Cabrio style legs with stunning Ball and Claw feet. Large scale chair back with stunning curves and beautiful carvings. There is something so quietly beautiful about this chair. It has been around since the late 1800's and has years worth of stories to tell. It has been hand carved out of solid mahogany wood. Someone over the years had painted it a solid black paint. Due to the delicate nature of this chair we did not want to run any risks trying to remove or match paint colors so we have left it as it has been. There are many areas where it has been rubbed away and it is down to its natural wood. The paint that is left on the chair is in good shape(What ... morei mean by good shape is that the black color is a very dark solid black without the appearance of topcoat shadows. It is very old black paint but what is left of the chair is a thick. Dark and solid black. Chips, scratches and raw areas aside, the black is a very true black. It is by no means perfect, but what is left of the paint is sold and dark. There are lots of sign of age with scuffs and nicks. The way the chair has aged is honestly quite stunning. The way the red wood shows next to the black really does give the chair is antique character and charm. It is a finish that can only be done by life and age and can NOT be replicated by hand. The carved crest at the top in completely in tack and the hand carving is evident in every twist and turn in the wood. There is a chip out of one of the claw and ball foot legs and small chips here and there through the piece however nothing stand out missing. The left side of the chair back has snapped over the years(see pic) and has been repaired(not by us) but it does not move when we apply pressure(by hand you can not separate the crack. This chair was used Christmas time by the Hahne's Company of Newark NJ for their yearly Santa celebration from the late 30's until the store closed sometime in the 80's. While I have no pictures of kids sitting on Santa's lap from Hahne's. I am sure there are some out there who can provide such a photo. Discovered in a storage unit in NJ. This chair was purchased in the 30's by the creative director of the store from an antique shop in Pennsylvania, and is a mid 1800's reproduction of a Gothic chair,or some similar style. sorry I am not an expert. N.H. This exceptional rocking chair is made of rattan. Reed, and cane. It is in very good antique condition. The chair used to have a caned seat and back. When the center cane pieces broke. Possibly because Jessie stood on it, a wooden seat was placed over the top of the original caned seat. That seat ... morehas holes some of which form at star. The cane remnants are under the wooden seat as shown in the 10th picture. It does have some other condition issues. None of these issues affects the chair's stability. There are several pieces of wound reed missing. Examples are shown in photos 6-8. One area has been bound with copper wire soldered into place. There are a couple of other areas along the chair's arms where the reed binding is broken or is missing. This is simply a stunning and authentic child's reed. Caned rocker that is 133 years old! As of the time I listed this rocking chair. Another Ebay seller was selling a envelope and stamp postmarked 1885 by the chair's makers Conant& Bush. This rocking chair is approx. 23" high. Across the arms the chair is 17 1/2" The back is 15 1/2" high and 15 7/8" wide.

Early 20th C. having acorn finials over three shaped slats, with a incised"1" on back of top slat, over a tapering rectangular seat having blue and white taped seat, raised on turned posts, stretchered, shaped rockers. The surface appears to be original. Probable Mr. Lebanon.Shaker simplicity is nowhere more evident than in chair design. Outwardly straightforward, each element of the design was carefully considered for greatest efficiency in use. This is a tilting chair named for the device attached to the back legs. A ball-and-socket joint was invented by the Shakers so that the chair could be tilted backward without having the legs scratch ... morethe floor or cause unnecessary wear of the rugs. Shaker chairs were famous for being light in weight yet sturdy. Because they were light they could be hung on the walls while the floors were being cleaned; their sturdiness provided durability over many years. Beautiful oak folding high chair or rocking chair. This high chair is in wonderful original condition. And has the clever design that it has been built with that will permit the chair to be adjusted up and down making the chair into a rocker when in the lowest position and the high chair in the upright position. The rattan/wicker seat/backing is in great condition, no broken pieces. Approx. measurements: When the chair is fully extended it is 40" tall, folded it is 27" This piece dates to 1900 and there are no markings on it. The tray is also missing but it still makes a great little chair. I'm sure the spindles could use a bit of tightening up.

FEATURED IS A VERY RARE AND UNUSUAL ANTIQUE FURNITURE PEICE. I SAW IT AT ESTATE SALE AND JUST HAD TO GET IT SINCE IT WAS SUCH A UNIQUE PEICE. I DON'T HAVE A CLUE AS TO EXACTLY WHAT THE NAME FOR IT WOULD BE, BUT I WILL DESCRIBE IT AS BEST POSSIBLE, PLEASE KNOW THIS PEICE NEEDS SOME REFURBISHING AND RESTORATION TO UPHOLSTERY AND WOOD FINISH, AND IRON BUT ONCE FINISH IT WILL BE A ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS PEICE. IT HAS ROUNDABOUT SHAPED SIDES THAT CURVE THAT IS WOOD AND WITH IRON SCROLLS AROUND THE ENTIRE BACK AREA, THE RIGHT SIDE IS A CHAIR SEAT WITH BACK CUSHION AND THE LEFT SIDE IS A LARGE TABLE TOP. THIS PEICE IS VERY SOLID AND STURDY. ALL THE UPHOLSTERY SHOWS AGE, FADING, SPOTS AND WEAR TO THE FABRIC, ITS NOT TERRIBLE WITH LARGE RIPS OR TEARS BUT IT HAS WORN SPOTS AND DEFINATELY HAS SEEN BETTER DAYS. ALL THE IRON SCROLLS HAVE A LIGHT RUSTY ... moreFILM ON THEM(NOT RUSTED) EACH PEICE IS HELD IN WITH 4 SCREWS THAT COULD EASILY BE REMOVED TO REPAINT THE IRON. ALTHOUGH NONE OF THE WOOD IS SPLIT OR CRACKED THE WOODS FINISH SHOWS AGE AND WEAR, WITH SCUFFS, KNICKS, SCRATCHES AND WORN AREAS OF THE CLEAR COATING OR VARNISH MAINLY ON THE ARMS. IT HAS WOOD LEGS AND ALL THE LOWER FABRIC IS SANDWICHED IN BETWEEN WOOD WHICH GIVES A NICE LOOK. THE TOP OF TABLE IS A MATERIAL THAT I CAN ONLY DESCRIBE AS SIMILIAR TO A CHALKBOARD, THE TOP HAS A FAINT IMAGE ON IT OF A FRENCH LOOKING DESIGN, THE TABLE TOP LOOKS FADED OR AGED AND HAS WEAR, SCUFFS,KNICKS SCRATCHES. THE PEICE IS INSET WITH WOOD TRIM AROUND IT AND I THINK IT WOULD BE GREAT TO PUT MARBLE, OR TILE IN THE FRAME WORK, IT HAS LOTS OF POSSIBILITIES. I DO NOT KNOW THE WOOD TYPE BUT IS IS A DARKER WALNUT FINISH WITH A BLACK DRIZZLE DESIGN ON IT SIMILIAR TO A CRACKLE LOOK I GUESS. I'M NOT SURE HOW TO DESCRIBE THE STYLE OF THE PEICE BUT TO ME ITS A LITTLE FRENCH PROVENCIAL BUT A BIT SPANISH GOTHIC AS WELL, THE FABRIC DESIGN ON IT CURRENTLY DOSN'T REALLY FIT THE STYLE OF THE PEICE TOO WELL. You are bidding on a vintage platform style spring Rocking Chair. We are not sure of it's age. But it looks like a 1920's or earlier model. It has a few minor blemishes( normal wear on the wood. A piece of edging coming off the seat, and the material at the top of the chair has a small hole) but overall it is a beautiful looking rocker! The material is a light peach/cream color. You are bidding on two beautiful antique chairs. These chairs are made of a bentwood oak frame. The red velvet seat in the chair has coiled springs. The chairs are 35" tall and 21" wide at the widest point. The seat diameter is 20" Which is also the overall depth. There is no damage to either the wood or the material. The coiled springs may need to be retied, but the chairs are comfortable to sit in as is. These are for local pick-up only in Santa Fe. New Mexico.
