Very big antique art nouveau jewelry box casket. With gold gilt finish. A big long version measuring 9 x 4 inches by over 3 inches tall and is very heavy and substantial. Has issues. The top is snapped off of the bottom hinge, and on one end there is a small split- see photo# 8. Still fully useable and functional and a great shelf piece. Still has the original cord rim and fluffy padding in the cover. Marked on the bottom 186 for a maker's mark. Has lovely repousse roses and flowers with a pretty swirled handle on top. Cover fits on the bottom fine, just not attached. It is dirty and dusty, as found, but can be cleaned up and used. Please ask questions. Ships with tracking. Here is an exquisite Victorian Brass double inkwell. Very ornate, with a holder for envelopes or mail, pen tray, and best of all- the glass inserts are still with this pretty desk set. The Art Nouveau inkwell is quite heavy. Measuring 11 1/2" long, 8" in depth, and 6" high at the highest point in the back. It seems to be from France. Signed D.L. No. 28, Depose. I have not cleaned it; you can see some patina, particularly on the bottom. The hinged inkwell lids have a little oxidation underneath. Outstanding Art Nouveau deep green glass dresser box in gilt metal mounts and applied decoration. Made in France late 19th century. Measures 3inches high and 4 3/4inches accross. Magnificent rich forest green glass. Round shape. Neck has 10 facets. Foot enclosed in a gilt metal ring with raised foliage and berries. 4 quintessial Nouveau flowers are attached to the glass on the sides. Each depicting a flower with elegantly scrolling petals and assymetrical foliage. The lid is gold plated and has applied buds, foliage of various sorts and a marvellous medallion with the bust of a woman in 3/4 back view, turning to face the front. Art Nouveau gilt and cut crystal double inkwell with pen holder. French. 19th century. Measures 5 3/4inches accross. 3 1/2inches front to back. Finest French cut crystal with gilt metal mounts. This piece has to be examined from every angle and side to appreciate the tremendous workmanship. the shape is oval with a round front. Underneath is beautifully. Beautifully cut crystal. Top corner of glass is canted. Around the front is a border of gold acorns and oak leaves. At the back this extends all the way up the side and turns over to the top of the crystal in the form of swags, flowers and foliage in exquisite detail. The inkwells are similarly decorated with acorn and oak openwork on the bottom. The metal caps have applied gold Art Nouveau figures of maidens in diaphenous robes, dancing. Superb. beautiful antique Thayer& Chandler T& C Chicago F. R. Co New York brass grape and vine box. also marked on the back with F. H. Deknatel copyright 1910. the box measures just a hair over 6" wide. 2 3/4" tall and 5 1/2" deep(front to back) it needs a good brass cleaning, as it currently has lots of great patina on it. on the front left as you look at the box, on the bottom, there is a tiny brass brad that is missing, so the brass is pulled away from the box, as you can see in the picture where i am holding it in, it will go back in place easily with an identical brad to the others in the box. i didn't want to put one in as i wanted to leave it as original. the box is lined with a green velvet type material- which needs a good cleaning, leaving that up to the buyer as i don't want to ruin it. in overall good condition ... morefor its age- but does need cleaning and a little tlc- up to the new owner. it has a grape, leaf and vine raised pattern throughout it. i also have a rectangular box that matches this- i would be happy to combine shipping on them. Antique Art Nouveau Hand Fan, Purple Flowers, Bone Sticks & Guards, Circa 1900
This is a beautiful hand fan with purple flowers painted all over and down onto the bone sticks. The right guard is also painted. The washers are MOP and the loop is brass. The silk had started to split in a couple of places so I had a conservator line the back of the fan with gauze. The fan is 9-1/2" long and 17-1/2 wide.

Tbis is an adorable fontage Art Nouveau hand fan with light brown celluloid sticks and guards. The loop is brass. Across the top of the fan are gold sequins. There is a split down the middle of the fan so I had a conservator put a gauze backing on the back of the fan to secure the split. It is signed by Petit Galaux(I can't read the signature very well- maybe you'll have better luck) The fan measures from 6" to 9" in the middle. It measures 11-1/2" across.

I will start by saying I know nothing about this vase. I bought it at a estate sale in Oregon many years ago because I loved the way it looks. It's been sitting on my mantel and I've never put water in it. In my opinion it's very Art Nouveau. I have absolutely no idea what it's made of. Spelter? It's fairly heavy weighing 1.6 pounds. It measures 8" tall. I can't find any kind of mark. It's not perfect ~ the lades breasts and forehead have a little flat mark and the flowers on either side don't match. It looks like the flower on the left may have been broken off, but I'm not sure because it's smooth and the patenia is the same. The top of the vase is irregular but I think that's intentional. Antique Risque Girl Picture Signed Painting in Old Art Nouveau Frame Home Decor
This auction is for an antique framed picture of a beautiful girl in a risque pose. The picture is either painted or printed on a cotton canvas. The painter's signature is by the girl's right shoulder. There is a very tiny shallow scratch above the signature. There is soft padding between the canvas and its hard backing. The frame is of an early type of hard plastic with an Art Nouveau floral pattern. The frame is free from chip or crack. There is a sturdy bail on the back. Offered from a the estate of a well know local collector. Is a gorgeous. Large and ornate gilt brass or maybe bronze floral overlay jewel or trinket box. With irregularly beveled glass lid that follows the pattern of the floral overlay. Thick glass sides with deep bevels the front is adorned with a large applied floral medallion that serves as the clasp or escutcheon. Lift tab handle. Good working hinges with stops that allow the lid to stand open. All in good vintage condition with some rubbing wear to the gilding on the metal. And there are 3 areas of damage to the glass: There is a chip on a corner of the lid. Under the metal, luckily, so hidden from view and on the back right corner there is chipping on the bevel at the top of the side and back glass. See the close up photos. Antique Edwardian Album Cover Hand Painted Decoupage Art Nouveau Illustration
Antique Victorian or Edwardian Album Cover. Hand Painted, Art Nouveau Style A true piece of history. This is a delicate remnant of the gilded age. The photos have long found other destinies, but this album cover found its way here and it is a breathtaking specimen of Art Nouveau illustration and design. Rectangular in shape, with rounded corners, it is cardboard base with a decoupage overlay consisting of yellow and orange flowers at lower left and the top half bears a hemispherical circle in which two lovely young girls or nymphs present themselves in gauzy, cream colored drapery and pink flowers. Over the hemisphere design is a very Edwardian style, stamped border design of black flowers and volutes. The stamped brass latch of the cover is at center right and the rear bears remnants of the word"patent" The decoupage images are ... morelikely from magazines at the turn of the 20th century and this cover would make an excellent wall hanging. Condition: wear and tear at corners and a corner of the hemispherical design has chipped and there are cracks here and there. But it is incredibly preserved for being over a century old! Antique Vtg Hand Mirror Chalk & Paper Papier Mache & Fabric 1920's Art Nouveau
This is for an antique Hand Mirror from the Art Nouveau Period. The face. Handle, and trim around the mirror is paper(papier) mache over a base of chalk and under that I believe, may be a wood frame. She has gold gross-grain bows in her hair and on the bottom of the handle. Her makeup is painted on and is striking and parts of her face are raised giving this slight dimension. The mirror is in great condition with no cracks or chips but does show light wear from age and use. There are a few hairline cracks in the paper mache and a couple of nips of loss showing the white layer of chalk underneath. This piece measures 15" long and 5 3/4" wide. I present to you this ANTIQUE CHALKWARE ART NOUVEAU BUST. Depicting a beautiful lady"ATALA" after the work of E. VILLANIS. She is portrayed in high detail with Art Nouveau influenced design. It does have a Mark and Marked as shown in the photo. The Bust stands approximately 14 3/4" tall and 8" across the shoulder. Please Review the"Condition Description" I was able to find the story of Atala online. She was a character in a book written by a French writer named Francois Renee de Chuatberand in 1801. She apparently was a half Indian girl who rescues a man by the name of Chactas. They run off but Atala is torn between love and a promise she made to her mother to stay a virgin.
