Very good overall condition, This gorgeous antique burl walnut secretaire was crafted in France around the year 1900. Today. This piece remains very beautiful, with a rich walnut complexion and a highly pronounced grain. The face is flanked by a set of carved columns that run the entire height of this piece, which ends with elegant bun feet. A total of 11 drawers and 1 interior cabinet provide a large amount of storage space, all under lock and key. The locks, however, are quite worn and operate with difficulty. The moulding has also sustained some wear, including a minor wood separation in the front and a filled-in missing piece in the back. Overall condition therefore remains very good. The desk provides a very beautiful workspace. With a variety of drawers. This secretaire contains plenty of storage space. The sides look great. The finish on the very top has worn a bit. Condition: Seller refurbished Location: Richmond Hill, United States Rare Retro Danish Teak Wood Writing Desk With a Lift up Vanity Mirror Section From a local estate sale is this wonderful Teak Wood Desk. It can be used ... moreas a writing desk or a make-up vanity. It has three small pull out drawers on the inside with the middle drawer having a lift up mirror and there are three larger drawers below the desk area. The inside of the desk also has a couple of cubby shelves. If you look below the second shelf you can see someone has cut a small hole to pass cords through. I could not find any markers markings but I am guessing from other items in the house of this estate sale it is Danish and probably from the 60's or 70’s. It is of smaller proportions making it ideal for a smaller room. The approx. measurements are: 3’ 6½” tall/ 2’ 11” across the front and is 1’ 5¼” wide. There are a couple of very small little marks or bumps but nothing major and overall it is in Very Good used condition. This Would Be A Very Stylish Addition To Any Home!
