The sofa and chair can be easily removed from the platforms for transport or to be re-upholstered if desired. CONDITION: Great vintage condition with normal wear due to age and use. There are scratches and nicks/dings in the walnut veneer due to age and use(most along edges of platforms- most noticeable are pictured) There are also some lighter areas on the platform/table tops and ring marks. There are some scuffs on the black platform underneath the walnut platform. The original upholstery has no rips/tears/holes– it is somewhat worn along the chair upper edges and there is a small black mark on the back of the sofa. It could benefit from a professional cleaning. Would look beautiful reupholstered in the fabric of your choice. The cushion on the seat of the chair is a bit broken down. There are a few broken straps under the chair. But it functions OK. There are 4 zippered throw pillow covers and 4 arm covers included but not pictured.
