The registry number on the bottom dates this piece ... moreto 1890. The first year the company started. The mark on the base is in blue transfer and reads"W& R-Stoke-on-Trent-Carltonware" Wiltshaw& Robinson started this company and ran the company under their name and Carltonware interchangeably from 1890 to 1957. From 1958 on, the name Carltonware was used solely for their products. The pattern on this beautiful bowl is called"Poppy" which is also on the bottom. It features two large poppy flower designs opposite each other and perpendicular on either side two smaller designs of poppies. The images are in a soft Navy blue and not Royal blue. The bowl measures 9"22.8 cm) in diameter and is 4 1/4"10.7 cm) tall. It has a silver rim, with no discoloration or dents, that measures 1/2"1.3cm) It also has a 3/4"1.9 cm) foot" on the base. The two utensils are lovely too and are in wonderful condition. It is unusual that they are still with the bowl after 123 years. They each measure 10 1/2"26.8 cm) in length and the porcelain handles are 3 1/4"8.3 cm) long. The silver design at the base of the handles has the appearance similar to a Gothic window. The rim of the bowl is not marked, although the utensils are. Embossed on each are the markings HA, EA, PA. The bowl has no chips and the utensil handles don't either. There is a very fine light-colored line that measures 2 1/4"5.7 cm) that is visible on the bottom and inside the bowl, that is very hard to see and does not weaken the piece structurally at all. This is a Vintage Sage GFL 896 RP Graphite 11 Fly Rod in excellent condition. It includes the original rod sack and tube. I bought this rod new from Mickey Powell at Buz’s Fly Shop in Visalia. Ca. many years ago. It is one of seven superb fly rods that I own. It is 9’6” in length and weighs 4 7/8 ozs. It was made to throw a#8 fly line however, I really like the way it handles a#9 wf taper. This was my gamer for chasing steelhead on the North Fork Umpqua River and it is still in absolutely first class condition.I will include a Cortland 444sl wf9 floating rocket taper and an SA ultra 3 wf9 floating/sinking steelhead 1V taper.

Vintage GRICE& YOUNG Avon Royal Trotting Centre Pin Fishing Reel c.1960 Ref: HS I am offering for auction a vintage GRICE& YOUNG Avon Royal Centre Pin Trotting Reel. I am uncertain of the age of this reel. But guess it dates to the 1960's or thereabouts. The reel measures 3 3/4" in diameter and is in fairly good condition with no major faults. Whilst there are quite a few scratches and blemishes. With some wear to the paint finish, mainly around the outer rims, physically the reel is in pretty good condition. The spool spins freely for about 20 seconds i n both directions. With no binding and little or no free play or wobble. The check is operated by a lever. Which engages a ratchet with a nice even click. The spool is released by a finger operated latch, which is retained by three screws and there is a central adjustment ... morescrew, which takes up any free play. Please note. The foot has been modified/filed, certainly at one end- probably both(see photos) Whilst the width at each end is slightly narrower than usual. It still fits a fairly standard/modern reel seat. The black ebonite handles turn freely on their spindles. As the reel is not quite perfect it is offered with a fairly low start price or reasonable"Buy Now" option. Up for auction is an very early and vintage Diving Mask made by the Sea Dive Mask company of Los Angeles. California. This early version mask is somewhat similar to the standard Navy issued mask; and as such, is a part of our diving history. These diving helmet masks have been successfully used for many years by divers working in shallow and uncontaminated waters. They are made of natural. Compression-molded rubber with what appears to be a brass clamping ring that holds the glass lens in place. The result is a rugged piece of equipment of low volume which permits the diver to work in very confined quarters. The head-harness strap can be adjusted to make a comfortable and effective seal against the divers face regardless of facial conformation. When so adjusted, it holds the mask firmly in place so as to minimize any risk of accidental dislodgement. ... moreThe single strap allow the mask to be easily and quickly removed. This item is a vintage SOS Automatic Decompression Meter. This came from an estate sale in Florida. Includes original box and instructions. I have no idea if it works or not. No way to test it and so please assume it doesn't work. It looks pretty clean for it's age, some scuffs and scratches on the item but not the plastic face of it- I don't even know how much, if at all, this was ever used. Looks to have been stored in the box for many years. The box is rough- cardboard sides are warped/smooshed/dogeared all over with some evidence of tape on cover. According to the instructions. The meter dimensions are 2" x 5 and 1/2" and it's weight is 5 oz. and the case is made of high impact black polystyrene and is anti-magnetic and anti-corrosive. VINTAGE ITALIAN MADE DIVER'S WRIST DEPTH GAUGE
NICE WRIST MOUNT DIVING DEPTH GAUGE! There are not many details I can offer beyond what you can see in the photos. The only writing I can find is on the face where it says FEET. Made in Italy and underneath that what looks like S.O.S. I have no way of testing this gauge so it's being sold AS-IS. It measures 2 1/4" across and about 1 1/2" thick. Vintage Fishing Rod Combo Set
This is a awesome vintage fishing combo set. It comes in a custom box with a salt water rod a fresh water rod and a fly rod all in the box. It also comes with the gear that you see in the picture which is in the box. I inherited this from my great grandfather about 20 years ago and I take it out and look at it every now and again and then put it away. Someone should own this who can display it or use it for something. Heck you can even fish with it if you wanted. Although its so cool I wouldn't want to risk damaging it. When you open the box you can see where the fishing gear is, well that is a hidden compartment for the gear. Good luck, I hope this goes to a very good home.
