Rare vintage 1956 National Resophonic Round-Neck Model 1133 w/OHSC, EXC++, NR!
For auction is a vintage'56(serial# 123442) Resophonic Round-Neck Student Model 1133 in grey mother-of-toilet-seat. It's no wonder these guitars are so popular. This thing is small but LOUD- from the front& back! As you can see from the photo(with back cover off) the volume from the resonator gets out two directions, a pretty ingeneous design. This guitar is in great shape; the frets look unplayed& there's just one chip in the plastic covering, by the pickguard. The neck is a real baseball bat(fat& round) with a 1-5/8"wide nut& 22" scale. The neck tilt is adjustable with the bottom screw, the round neck sits in a round neck pocket! The action(bridge& nut height) is medium, great for both fingerstyle& slide- which, of course, is where the Resophonic really shines. Tuners are Klusons, 3-on-a-strip, ... morethe buttons are post-shrinkage, in great shape. The original chipboard case is also in fine condition. All of the latches& hinges work like new. This is a rarely used Gary Bangstick I made by Belcher Industries. I fired it only once. It is 24 inches long and uses a.357 bullet. It includes the quick release that you attach to your SCUBA tank. And over a dozen orange waterproof caps. The device is very clean and there is no oxidation. Am not sure postal regulations allow me to include the 13 bullets I have. I used to take this night diving in the Caribbean where sharks seemed to take undue interest in divers. This is not a toy and should NOT be used for personal protection at home. Dimensions: 13" diameter x 3-1/2" high(330mm x 89mm) This pair of unique footstools is 19thC Victorian. With mahogany bases in solid condition. The colour is darker on one of the footstools and a little lighter on the other one. A few hairline scratches but the finish is semi-gloss and in great condition. The hand-stitched needlepoint is done in wool yarn and glass beads. The background colour is a soft magenta and one footstool is a little darker than the other one. Around the edge. The colour is purple. All the beadwork flowers are multi-coloured. And there are some missing stitches, but the fabrics are solid. The footstools have the same bases. Same sizes but the floral designs are different; however, they are definitely a pair and would be a very special addition to one's interior. Miniature Round Pantry Box Wood Nice Finger lap joint
Miniature round pantry box measures 2 3/8' in diameter. Box bottom is 1 1/2' high, lid is 5/8; high. Lid shows wear but is solid, box bottom is in decent shape with nice detail in the finger lap joint. Looks like original uncleaned surface. There is writing or a signature on the box bottom. It shows in the image but is not legible. Top fits the bottom nicely. Smallest box that I have offered. Email questions.
