This furniture is circa 1920. Jacobean or Tudor style. Not really considered antique(100 yrs) It is more commonly called vintage, though I have seen it called antique vintage to attract a wider audience. I was unable to locate any manufacture or date on the furniture other than on the bottom of the chairs which most likely was a re-upholster tag. Although considered common furniture in the 1920s-30s it is an excellent example of detail and craftsmanship. This type of furniture was made by many different manufacturers and sold by many different stores; so finding an exact manufacturer might not be possible. The more common furniture usually was not stamped by any manufacturer. Possibly made from bass wood or common wood. Would like to sell as a group. This Berkey& Gay dining set consists of a 3-leaf table. 8 chairs, 1 china hutch, 1 buffet and 1 sideboard. It is made of walnut, with many sections being bookmatched figured walnut- absolutely beautiful. All pieces are matching, and feature the metal medallion used in Berkey& Gay's furniture from the 1920's-1940's. Our best guess is that these pieces were made in the 20's. They're in excellent condition for this vintage. You'll see some very slight damage, shown in the last 4 photos. You are bidding on a Union National Fine Furniture dining room set that is in exquisite condition. The set consists of a dining room table. Hutch and buffet built in the early 1900s. The dining room table has two leaves with the original storage“crate” and custom fitted table top pads. The buffet measures 72” wide by 21” deep and 38” high. The pull on the left cupboard door of the buffet is broken. The hutch has four hidden silverware drawers in the side locking panel with original skeleton key and measures 42” wide by 18” deep by 69” high. There is one nick on the front of the hutch. You will find scratches. Dents, nicks, marks and scuffs proper for its age. The table has a heat stain. The fabric on the chairs is not the original. I replaced the original tapestry when I bought it because it was in bad shape. There are no cracks or broken chairs. I think the table and chairs are made of cherry wood, but I am not 100% sure. PICK UP ONLY IN DILLSBORO. IN 47018. 9 piece Antique Dining Room Furniture- table. 6 chairs, server/buffet and china cabinet. This set consists of a glass front china cabinet; a server/buffet and extendable dining room table with 4 side chairs and 2 end chairs. and I am told that the wood is Ash. It's an extremely beautiful. Well-made and well taken care of set. It's light and petite versus the older massive types. SO it can easily accomodate the smaller dining room built today. The actual date of the furniture is believed to be 1920's- 1930's. The current owners state that this was originally purchased from a very rich family in Cincinnati. OH. The table is 30" high. 34" wide, and 58" long without the leaves extended. It has 2 end self-storing leaves- each leaf being 19" Hence, with one leaf extended is ... more7" and with both extended is 96" or 8 feet long. The four side chairs are 16-1/2" wide and 16-1/2" deep. While the two larger end chairs are 22-1/4" wide by 18-1/2" deep. All have upholstered seats. The server/buffet is 33" high. 37" long and 18" deep. It contains storage compartments. The glass fronted china cabinet is 57-1/2' high. 37" wide, and 15" deep. Below the display area is a storage drawer for tablecloths, etc. The chairs and table have"787" and Russmore stamped.assume this is the model number and pattern name. The set was manufactured by the Grand Rapids Chair company of Grand Rapids. Michigan. That company was founded in 1872 and primarily produced chairs until 1880. After that date they then began to produced complete sets and"ash" was their popular wood with carved panels and heavier moldings. You will not be disappointed with this set.as soon as you look at it you will love it. As I stated before.it's the perfect size and in super wonderful antique condition.note: tiny scratches in a few spots.

Antique Mahogany Oval Dining Table English Furniture NO RESERVE!
This is a fabulous antique Victorian mahogany dining table. Originating in England. The top is oval in shape, with a double moulded edge, and the carved and turned legs have castors. The table comes with two extension leaves- the photographs show it with one of the leaves inserted- and it has a wind-out mechanism. There is no handle for this, but it can be easily wound out with a wrench. This table has been well used by our family over the years. Both in England and America, and before that, it was used as a conference table in a well known factory(now closed) in the North of England. The table top has been re-finished in the past, but because it has continued to be used and loved on a daily basis, there are some signs of surface wear commensurate with age, but structurally, it is in excellent condition. The stunning matching Buffet features three spacious drawers, of which the center drawer front displays a spectacular ... moremarquetry inlaid panel of high art crest on a burl background. The eight legged table base also features the distinctive crest finial motif of the Table. The Buffet measurements are 78Lx24Dx39H. The crown jewel of the suite is the magnificent matching gently slopped dome topped China and Silver Cabinet with large center door and spacious drawer below. Both the door and drawer front are embellished with masterpiece marquetry inlay-ed panels depicting a vase with flowers and leaves of outstanding beauty and artistry. Once more, the base reflects the crest finial theme of the other pieces. The four legged China and Silver Cabinet measures 48Lx18Dx75H. The solid walnut set was made between 1927 and 1935 right here in the USA by the Baker Allegan Studios in Michigan and then it was distributed by the Peck& Hills Furniture Co. The wood and workmanship are incomparable and of another time. The entire set has a wonderful patina with all the wood finish being completely original. The set was first purchased by a SF bay area Doctor to grace the dining room of his stately custom built family home in the Piedmont section of the Oakland Hills in California. The beautifully rolled legs go all the way down the sides for a majestic appearance. Brass knobs match brass key holes on all three drawers that lock away your special things for just the right occasion. One key fits all three drawers and it IS included. That's right, we DO have the original Eagle Lock Co. key! The silverware drawer ... moreis divided into three sections and is lined with the original green velvet. The napkin and linen drawers are not lined. The linen drawers offers tons of space so you can be sure all of your treasured tablecloths will fit. Two doors open on the bottom to reveal a large storage space that is more than adequate for your finest china. On the sides of the buffet you will find more gorgeous Tiger Oak and straight back legs that go from the top to the bottom of the buffet for a strong support. The back is finished with standard plywood and is original to the piece. Originally there was a top for the buffet but I do not have that piece, and to be quite honest I think the piece works much better with today's decor without the top. As you can see in the photos, the finish overall is nice, but it does have some nicks and chips in a few places, as can be expected with a piece that is almost 200 years old. It was refinished at some point. The discoloration on the sides is far less noticeable than it appears in the photos. Structurally, the buffet is in great shape, very strong.
