This vintage Drexel set is from the"Profile" series from 1955. This furniture collection was designed by John Van Koert and was in production from 1955 to 1961. The set includes the dining room table which is 62" long x 40" wide x 29" high plus three leaves that are each 12" There are six armless chairs. The underside of the table is stamped with the Profile Series identifying information. The chairs are in need of re-upholstering. Not so much stained as worn. The table has one area that shows a bit of wear. All pieces have the original finish. This is from my neighbor who is moving to assisted living. This set is truly a classic. Vintage C.P.R. railway Elkington plated dining room car bread plate from 1928?
Up for your consideration is this vintage Canadian Pacific Railway collectible. I believe this item to be a bread plate and may have been used in the train's dining room car. It has the CPR initials on the upper part of the plate's front. On the back is the Elkington plate stamp and number 8460. Lower on the backside of the plate is the letter R with the type of design around it which may indicate it to date back to 1928. The plate measures 7" in diameter and weighs about 10 oz. There are no major dents or bends in the plate but it is in used condition. It needs a good cleaning and there are scratch marks on the front bottom base which I assume was from normal use. The outer lip edge has lots of minute nicks and roughness that would associate with prolonged washing and use from many years. The bottom does show signs of deplating ... morewear. Before bidding please note the customer pick up location and terms toward the end of the description. THIS LISTING is for a really nice wrought iron patio set from the 1950's or 1960's. This set has been indoors for about half a century and is all original includeing paint. It's possible this set was intended for indoor use. I'm not sure about this kind of table top and cold weather. It was passed down from mother to daughter and the daughter just moved to N.C. to retire. Virtually no rust except on the discs under the feet, which are all there. Great design to the iron and the table top is cast acrylic or resin over wood with Abalone shell chips suspended in the resin. The top is heavy, but not as heavy as marble. Light very natural paint ware to the iron in places. The vinyl seats have a few spots that may or may not completely ... morecome out but they are in very nice condition. The resin top is also in very nice condition but I will get into greater detail about that for ebay. In my opinion I would not do anything, this set is nice. I found one very small nick in the table top surface. The lower edge of the top has a few scattered nicks from the chairs. Top edge I felt nothing. The few scattered dark spots you see in the top are natural to the table. I think they are some pieces of the dark side of the abalone shell that slipped through the process.see close up) The outer edge of the top has some pitting holes that are dark. Maybe shell pieces that came out, maybe casting flaws.see other close up) And then the resin discolored there. Only the most particular people would do anything, but if you want to, a little paint and filler would be extremely easy. The seats will need to be re-attached, just 4 small screws each to wood bottoms under the cushions. They were loose when I aquired the set. The table top measures 39 3/4" across. Table height is 30 1/8" Chairs backs are 41 3/8" tall. I included all 12 photos you can enlarge, but please ask questions or for additional photos if need be.

The company opened its doors in 1934 and became known for its use of quality hardwoods(mostly cherry and maple) and beautiful wax-based finishes. Willett exhibited its furniture at the Chicago Furniture Show in the late 1930s and 1940s. And by the 1950s, achieved national status advertising in Better Homes and Garden selling to markets nationwide. At its peak of popularity customers had to wait up to a year to have an order filled. The factory closed in 1962. This dining s et includes: four(4) T-back saber leg chairs. Drop leaf table with 10 legs(yes, there are 10 legs! and extra table leaf, server and shelf. Table is 29 inches in height with top dimensions as follows: 27 inches by 42 inches with ... moredrop leaves down; 42 inches by 60 inches with drop leaves up; and 42 inches by 85 inches with extra leaf installed. Server dimensions are 50 inches wide by 18 inches deep by 35 inches tall. Shelving unit is placed on top of server and stands 34 inches tall(height of both server and shelves is 69 inches. Overall good condition-the finish is worn and scratched in places; the two fasteners attaching the shelves to the server are missing; one table leg has been repaired and a catch on one of the server doors needs replacing. Rich color. You rarely see anything from Basic-Witz on the market. Furniture by this company appears difficult to acquire. Quite solid. With only minute marks to the wood. All spindles and brass leg caps are in tact. One leg spindle, and a few of the seat backs and arms are a tiny bit loose-nothing a couple of drops of wood glue can't fix. Original upholstery. Two chairs have larger yellowing spots on the seats. Sadly. These had been horribly reupholstered by the previous owner and the foam that was used on top of the original upholstery disintegrated and left some yellowing around the edges of all 5 seats. There is a 6th chair(a side chair. Not pictured) ... morethat is missing the upholstery, a leg spindle, and has a broken seat back that was badly repaired. Vintage from many years ago Backstamped. Pennsylvania Railroad Railway Company Passenger Train Dining Car Syracuse China Mountain Laurel Pattern Dinner Plate- Railroad Marked. Measures approx. 9 1/2" diameter. This was an exlusive use pattern for the PRR on its passenger trains dining cars. Base- white. Border- light green. Pattern- white flowers outlined in pink with green leaves and brown stems. This pattern dates from mid 1950's and was produced through 1972. Very clearly Backstamped(see pictures) PRR Keystone logo- Mountain Laurel- State Flower of Pennsylvania- Made for the Pennsylvania Railroad by Syracuse China" Not all plates in this pattern were backstamped as to PRR, so that makes this plate more desirable than the non marked railroad ones. Vintage Very Unusual from many years ago 1973. AMTRAK Railroad Passenger Train Dining Car Large Dinner Menu. Undated. So we assume it's from the 1950's? Early blue version. See the photos, they tell the story. 30 pages, measuring 9" x 4" In pretty good shape, save for cover corners.check it out. Please look at my other unusual old railroad stuff. This item is from the estate collection of Richard Otto Stolzenfels. The famous Bakersfield CA live steamer, and retired SP and ATSF railroad employee. That is his picture. He was a fireman in the last days of steam and early diesels, hiring on in 1944. He retired in the early 1970's, passed in 1983, but his vast collection of railroad stuff lives on, as do his live steam railroads. I have sold off much of this material, so get it while you can, as one day you might say"I could'a had some of that famous hoard, but I dithered.

VINTAGE BENCHCRAFT BY DREXEL DINING TABLE 6 CHAIRS 2 LEAVES MID-CENTURY MODERN
Here is a fabulous American made vintage Benchcraft by Drexel. Drexel Furniture Company, NC dining table and 6 chairs with the most fabulous wood grains and mid-century modern danish influenced design. This table has a particularly lovely top and the capacity to be used in a variety of lengths as it comes with two leaves. The table measures 64 inches long by 29 inches tall by 44 inches wide. With one leaf in it expands to 84 inches in length and with both leaves in, it measures 104 inches in length with room for all your holiday guests. The chairs each stand 37 1/2 inches tall to the top of the back and measure 21 inches wide by 20 inches front to back. The seats are 17 1/2 inches in height and the width of the seats is 21 inches tapering to 16 inches across the back. The two arm chairs are the same. Though there is only 19 inches in width ... morebetween the two arms and the front of the chairs and all the seats are 17 1/2 inches deep front to back. These chairs are currently covered with a older replacement white vinyl or pleather type fabric which most new owners will want to replace to bring this wonderful old set back into it's element. Vintage Retro Antique Mid-Century Formica Dining Table w/ spring assist leaf
This is a 1950's era vintage table. Overall it's in good shape. There is a slight ding in one spot on the top, as pictured. The bottom of the legs also have some slight oxidation, as shown. The underside wood has a little bit of wear and tear, but nothing visible except from the underside of the table and in no way affecting the structural integrity of the table. It is a speckled sand and cream color. This was in my Grandma's house for years and has been stored indoors since. There are no chairs. There is no manufacturer's sticker, or other marks that I could find. Table measures 29" high, 35 3/4" deep, and 47 1/2" long without the leaf, 59 1/4" long when the 11 3/4" leaf is inserted. There is a spring loaded latch to automatically open the table, allowing for insertion of the additional leaf, which ... moreis in near-perfect condition. Vintage Art Deco Gilbert Rohde Dining Table 3 Leaves Herman Miller
For sale is a great looking Art Deco dining table designed by Gilbert Rohde. Most likely from the early 40's for Herman Miller. Without the leaves it measures 38" x 64" and 29 1/2" high. There are 3 leaves each measuring 10 3/4" wide. I do also have the table pads for it but they're not shown. Over 70 years old it shows normal wear with surface scratches and fading. There is a small impression shown that is less than a size of a dime. There is some crazing to the finish and the legs and support shows wear from use. Vintage not a reproduction from many years ago. The Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway(reporting mark ATSF) Railroad Company Passenger Train Dining Car TWO PLACEMATS w/ Indian Boy logo. Made of paper. This type was used on ATSF dining cars many years ago. A very nice railroadiana memorabilia from many years ago. Santa Fe was one of the larger railroads in the USA. Chartered in February 1859. Despite the name its main line never served Santa Fe, New Mexico, as the terrain was too difficult(Santa Fe was ultimately reached by a branch line from Lamy. The Santa Fe's tracks reached the Kansas/Colorado state line in 1873 and Pueblo, CO in 1876. Santa Fe set up real estate offices and sold farm land from the land grants that the railroad was awarded by Congress; these farms would create a demand for transportation(both freight and passenger) ... moreby Santa Fe. Ever the innovator. Santa Fe was one of the pioneers in intermodal freight service, an enterprise that(at one time or another) included a tugboat fleet and an airline(the short-lived Santa Fe Skyway) A bus line allowed the company to extend passenger transportation service to areas not accessible by rail. Vintage Bell Bros Silky Oak Dining Table & Chairs 1930's
Up for auction is this gorgeous vintage dining table and chairs. It is made of silky oak and would date back to the 1930's or so. It is a piece by well known Queensland maker Bell Bros. The piece bears all the hallmarks of them with beautiful details and carvings. It comes from a deceased estate. I have also listed the matching sideboard to this piece in a separate auction. The 6 seater table has a glass top included. There are 5 normal chairs and one carver. The chairs look like they have been reupholstered sometime recently and have virtually no wear. All chairs are very tight and would need no repairs. The table measures 167cm wide. 89cm deep and stands 77cm high. The set could be used immediately and is in excellent condition for its age.
