I have noted in my description of condition above that one of the rush bottom seats on this set is broken through, and simply replaced at present with a wood board underneath the seat cushion. Vintage 1968 Round Oak Brunch Table and Four Oak Rolling Dining Chairs
This auction is for a vintage Oak"Brunch Table" and four matching Oak rolling chairs. This is all in used condition. But details are listed below. The table's measurements are 43 3/4" across. 25" tall, and 34" long base feet. The table is in very good shape and is fairly stable. But does wobble a bit when pushed on. However, we do live in a very unsettled house and it could be our floor. It's worth mentioning, though. It's made of a beautiful oak, and is stamped on the underside as a"brunch table. It's a fairly short table, and features a very intricate, and possible hand carved, four leg system, which has been pictured. There is a cup ring on top of the table. Note: The oil lamp and deer antlers are not included with this listing. They are just a display piece. Also, the discoloration of the ... moretable in the picture where said pieces have been moved aside is from me being too impatient to properly dry off the table after noticing a smudge. There are no such streaks usually. There are four chairs included and each one is 17" floor to the seat. 28 1/2" floor to the top of the back, with a 22" wide x 18" deep seat. Two of them have no dates stamped on them. One is stamped May 3rd, 1968 and the last is stamped with April 9th, 1968. I don't know why they feature different dates. Each chair is in very good shape and roll very well. They do each squeak when rolling while sitting in them, but that should be able to be oiled up and eliminated. They appear to be upholstered with a leather like product. I'm not sure if it is genuine leather or not. I'll leave that at that. SHIPPING: We are not offering shipping on this item. You are looking at a stunning. Rare antique solid oak with Burl Walnut Jacobean refectory/dining table and chairs. The table is pre 1879 and is from England. It has Barley twist legs and self-enclosed leaves/extenders. It is in excellent condition. The chairs have only been recovered. But the finish is original to our knowledge(we've owned these pieces for over 40 years) Extending boards are in perfect working order. The table measures 40" wide and just under 64" long. Each extender is 28" long. Making this table a generous and spacious 120" 10 ft. long when extended! The chairs are 2 different designs. 3 of each design. Each of the chairs is also solid oak and have the barley twist legs, as well as stiles with blocks and finials. They are all in excellent condition, but the seats have been recovered. Table legs and front chair legs feature the spiral carving called barley twist. Our consignor's father bought this as an antique in the 1960s; she fondly remembers many Thanksgiving dinners with her family at this table. The warm. Homey wooden table with its paneled table top, carved legs, and matching chairs would be perfect in a kitchen, casual dining room, family room or craft room. Or a pub! The table is roughly 36" square with 2 draw-leaves that slide out from under the table top to add about 12" on each end. The table top is held in place by notches in the wood. Up for sale today is a beautiful antique tiger oak dining table and six chairs. This table was purchased in the late 1800's/early 1900's by either my great great grand fa ther or my great grandfather(they had the same name) who lived near Chicago. Illinois. This one comfortably seats 12 and will seat more if you care to get closer. I do not know if the chairs are original to the table. They do match and they are the only chairs I have ever seen with the table, but I was not around in the 1800's. The table is in wonderful condition as it has always been used with the original. Thick table pads protecting it and a table cloth over that. My family ha ve always been non-smokers. So there are no burn marks or yellow marks. The table needs a good cleaning, that is all. The chairs show more wear as they don't have protection like ... morethe ta ble. They are still used daily. The cushions have been replaced over the years and are now a fruit pattern. The last picture is of the store label holding the table for my great great grandfather(or great grandfather) This label is still in place under the table top. The table was purchased at Carson Pirie Scott& Co. This is an expanding table with four 10" leaves for adjusting t he size. At it's smalle st. The table is 54" round. At it's largest. It is approximately 94" long. The pads are made in sections so fit whatever size you wish the table to be. Pictures show the table at its smallest. Its largest, and also with three leaves in place. The mechanics for adjustment work smoothly. There are wheels on the base of the table and it rolls easily. Please look carefully at the pictures. This table is well over 100 years old. In my opinion. It shows very minimal wear for its age, but it is not"like new" Please keep in mind that the chairs, having been used for these many years, show much more wear than the table. A solid oak refectory table with end supports joined by a stretcher. This table was crafted between the 1920's and 1930's with the original finish. There are two drop down leaves on either side of the table. There are six chairs with one being an arm chair. All chairs are solid with tight joints. In addition is a buffet with three drawers and two side storage cupboards. The table measures 60" long and 38" wide. Each leaf is 16" long so when each leaf is extended. There are no markings on either the table nor the chairs. The table closed is approximately 39" L X 30" W. Extended is approximately 63" L X 30" W and 29" Tall. The chairs are approximately 35" Tall, 17 1/4"W(measured at the top widest part) X approximately 16"L(measured from the front to the rear of seat) The seats have been re-done in a mauve/velveteen type of material. Don't know how long ago! There a little dusty from storage and probably ... morecould use refreshing. There are a few specks on some of the chair seats, not stains but I think it's the way the velveteen material is. Can't really make out for sure. Tried to get a picture but so small, it doesn't come out in the pictures. Very minor but did want to point it out. The chair seats pop out easily, so if you didn't like the color of the material on the seats, would be easy to replace! There is also, an engraved rose/design on the top front part of the chairs. Please Refer to Pictures for Clarity and more Detail! On the back frame of one of the chairs(below the white dot shown in the picture) is a tiny little hole where a small wood knot use to be. The table top has some minor dings due to normal use and for it's age. It must be close to 100 years old! The oak on the table and chairs is a mixture of light/dark wood. There is one small spot on the table top that is darker than the rest of the table- it's in the wood! All part of it's character! This has been in my family since it was purchased with one owner until I was given the table and chairs. I think the cut of wood is tiger or tiger eye as they call it. I'm not positive on this but an expert would be able to tell pretty easily.

Mid century modern oak dining/conference table and chairs Danish/Eames
This is an unusual set of chairs and table that could be used as a conference table and chairs or a dining room set. The workmanship is outstanding; there is no maker's mark or company label- only what appears to be a customer's name(Borgia? written in pencil on one of the chairs. The table measures 39" wide x 60" long- 80" with leaf. It is a refractory type table which says dining to me- meaning the leaf pops up from the middle when the sides are spread open. On the other hand. All the chairs have a metal inset on the edges of the back and arms(see photo) that says conference set to me. My best guess is that it was custom made. Notice the way the back has a circular shaped inset to form the curve- a much sturdier design then other curved backs that I have seen. The upright arms give it a modern look. I also cannot ... moretell you it's country of origin- no makers mark or tell tale design. Age unknown too! Sorry I have so little info. I had a mid century modern expert look at it and he too was baffled. Probably Danish. It has some age to it. Whatever kind of set it is, it would make a handsome addition to a home or office. This is simply a beautiful. Ornate, hand carved oak dining table made in the Jacobean/Elizabethan era style. It comes complete with 6 matching chairs, one of which is a captain's chair. It has been extremely well cared for, after all it's over a hundred years old! The bottom of the table top has been painted black, so i cannot find any markings that might indicate who made it, or the exact year. It has been reenforced with some sturdier brackets underneith. It's in fantastic shape. Two of the chairs are not featured in the pictures, but are included. The seats will need to be recovered as the threading is coming apart, but all the oak is solid and beautiful. A most wonderful oak dining set in the Louis XV style from the late 19th century. The oak ornaments are carvings of bellflowers. Scallop shells, and scrolling acanthus leaves, the table and chairs in the original brown finish, the carvings gilt accented. New foam cushions with Louis XV style fabric covers. The cane back rests are all original(four of the seat canes are new caning, one back side chair caning with small hole. The table without skirtless leaves is a round 60" with all 4 leaves added it extends to 9'4" 112" There are four 13" wide leaves in wood storage case, and fitted covers, included. The arm chairs measure 45" tall by 27" wide, the seats 19" deep, the side chairs 41" tall by 18" wide, the seats 15" deep. When I purchased this set 8 years ago, I was told this was quarter sawn oak, but I can't confirm this(maybe you can tell by the pictures) The table is 5 feet long by 38 inches wide(two leaves retract under the main table) When the table is expanded it is 91 inches long. This is in good condition with wear for a dining room set of this age. One leaf will need minor adjustments to the retracting mechanism.

Circa 1800s, made from solid oak with three leaves and Victorian decoration. Without the leaves the table is square as can be seen in the photos. It was purchased in the mid-1980s and was totally restored at the time. It is in very good condition. The leaves have their own wooden case. The table sits beautifully. An exceptional piece of furniture which would look outstanding in the right setting. This auction includes two(what I believe are) North Wind(Northwind) oak chairs from the same period. These rare pieces of furniture have also been called Gargoyle and Demon chairs. This style was popular during the late Victorian era(1870-1900) The North Wind face. From folklore, ... morewas supposed to blow evil spirits away. These lion-like faces, however, have bones in their teeth. The chairs are in good condition, for their age, other than some minor wear on the edge of the carving and some discoloration on the leather seats. This is is so beautiful in the Empire style. The large column center post ends in four beautiful curled legs in a square base format. The top is SO nice! This is a 42" round but has two leaves to expand to 66" for dining. Although this was someone's fine dining table in the early 1900's. This also makes an elegant kitchen table, or game table! It is small enough for 2-4 people to sit around nicely but with the leaves you can add up to six people, maybe more. So versatile! Great for a lake cottage or NY city apartment. The finish is just wonderful. This is not a patch job. I see no damage to the table at all and the original sliding hardware ... morelocks tightly with a wood handled latch. The chairs were originally cained but someone has simply added a wood cut seat to each eliminating that whole broken cane issue. These are very sturdy and are marked Wiffmer MIlling& Mfg Co. PA. Signed by the woodworker. Chairs are gorgeous with lion faces on the backs of each! One thing to note is that the leaves are not original to the table. They are cut to size and refinished to match closely(slightly darker due to being from another table) but they are not exact. They match very well. They have dowels to lock into the circle shape. Lastly. The table has for nice wheels on the bottom that are removable but they allow your to roll the table wherever you want it. This table measures 42" round and extends to 66" with two leaves. It is 30" tall. The chairs are 39" tall x 20" wide x 19" deep. This is such an easy set to move around. The top come off and the base will fit through any door. You can transport this in an SUV.
