Presenting: Rasmus Danish Modern Glass Front China Display Cabinet Hutch Fantastic Teak finish Lighted upper cabinet with glass shelves and glass doors Base cabinet with slide out drawers on the left side The top cabinet sits on top of the base cabinet and you can use the base cabinet separately as a credenza if you so wish The base cabinet is 61-1/2" wide x 19" deep x 32-1/4" high overall The top cabinet is 58" wide x 15" deep x 39-1/4" high overall The whole thing is 71-1/2" high, Condition Details: It is in great condition overall. It looks very nice. If you look closely for flaws. You'll see the following issues. See the pictures. The top cabinet has a few chips to the edge of the vaneer on the left side where it comes in contact with the base cabinet. The finish on the left and right sides has some wear. Kind of like fading or weathering down toward the bottom. This is more visible in bright light. The base cabinet has several scratches on top and one good scrape due to the top cabinet being pushed around when put on top or adjusted over the years. The majority(including the scrape) is hidden by the top cabinet and what emerges out from under the top cabinet faded quite a bit when I applied Old English polish. Check out the pictures. The right hand cabinet door was pulled off and reattached at some point. This can be seen if you're looking for it(see my picture) The door looks fine. There are a couple hinges out of adjustment on the top cabinet doors as shown. The lights all work. The left hand one has a push switch. We installed 60 watt bulbs because that's what we had on hand. I have 6 pairs of these chairs in different sizes, this auction is for the second smallest of the chairs from the kindergarten room. the seat measures 13.1/2"x 12.1/2" the seat is 12" from the floor and the height to the top of the backrest is 23.1/2" The underside has some scribbling and the Heywood stamp, one chair needs a little wood filler on the back of the backrest, and the center seat support of both chairs is missing the screw. The chairs have a patented folding action that eliminates the need for conventional"X frame" construction. The table has no unsightly leg braces(hidden locks do the trick) and the legs are flared for added style and sturdiness. The chair is comfort-cushioned throughout. These chairs came from a set of four. But I only bought these two. I left the other two because those had rips/tears in their upholstery. These two were in very good condition, and I figured someone might have a need for a couple of extra chairs or a need to replace some that may be damaged. These are the only two that I have. Each is free of damage. There are signs of normal use, but no real problems. The chair shown on the left in photos#1& 2, does have a very slight bend in the top rail of the chair's back. It is so minimal, however, that it may not be noticeable in the photos, but I try to mention any possible point of concern. Photo# 6 shows a close up of this back. I have looked at quite a few of the Hamilton Cosco chairs listed on eBay. Active and completed, and in my opinion these are in unusually good condition. On others I have seen corrosion, rust, tears and the like- none of which are on these two chairs. There are some scrapes to the metal in some spots but there is no corrosio

The Chrome is Bright showing only a few light scratches while the black leather surfaces are in great age appropriate condition. There are no cracks. Scratches or seam seperation in the leather. I can not attest to the maker of these chairs as there are no makers marks on them although the leather seat bottoms have made in Italy labels. These chairs present beautifully. With only minor marks to the wood. All spindles and brass leg caps are in tact. One leg spindle, and a few of the seat backs and arms are a tiny bit loose-nothing a couple of drops of wood glue can't fix. Original upholstery. Two chairs have larger yellowing spots on the seats. Sadly. These had been horribly reupholstered by the previous owner and the foam that was used on top of the original upholstery disintegrated and left some yellowing around the edges of all 5 seats. There is a 6th chair(a side chair. Not pictured) that is missing the upholstery, a leg spindle, and has a broken seat back that was badly repaired. They were taking out of a film company in park city that went out of business in the 80's. one of the clasps that attatches the pad to the chair is begining to tear but is still completely functionable. Also these chairs are missing the silver metal peice that attatches the top of the cushion to the back of the chair. Note still very functionable. Table can support two more leaves but those were lost and not included. This has a light stained laminate top in good shape. Does have some signs of wear but nothing major. Stunning set of 5 mid-century modern solid wood(walnut? dining chairs by The Basic-Witz Industries Furniture. Inc. Three side chairs and two arm chairs. Great vintage condition! Low backs. Rich color. You rarely see anything from Basic-Witz on the market. Furniture by this company appears difficult to acquire. Quite solid. With only minute marks to the wood. All spindles and brass leg caps are in tact. One leg spindle, and a few of the seat backs and arms are a tiny bit loose-nothing a couple of drops of wood glue can't fix. Original upholstery. Two chairs have larger yellowing spots on the seats. Sadly. These had been horribly reupholstered by the previous owner and the foam that was used on top of the original upholstery disintegrated and left some yellowing around the edges of all 5 seats. There is a 6th chair(a side chair. Not pictured) ... morethat is missing the upholstery, a leg spindle, and has a broken seat back that was badly repaired.
