A gorgeous MCM Walnut dining table and chairs by Sligh Furniture Co. Grand Rapids Chair Co. who was owned by Baker Furniture Co. The table dates from late 50s. The table has a fantastic walnut top that is an x pattern with mirror veneer pieces and outer rim is trimmed in a 2 inch band around top. Has beautiful tapered legs with brass feet caps The table measures 60" long by 41" wide without leaves. With 3 leaves the table stretches to just under a massive length of 10 feet perfect for those large family gatherings. Though not pictured there are protective pads for the normal table size and 3 leaves so the surface can be protected during those big gatherings and when table has no leaves in. There are six chairs that have been re-padded and re-upholstered with eco-friendly materials. Here is a fabulous American made vintage Benchcraft by Drexel. Drexel Furniture Company, NC dining table and 6 chairs with the most fabulous wood grains and mid-century modern danish influenced design. This table has a particularly lovely top and the capacity to be used in a variety of lengths as it comes with two leaves. The table measures 64 inches long by 29 inches tall by 44 inches wide. With one leaf in it expands to 84 inches in length and with both leaves in, it measures 104 inches in length with room for all your holiday guests. The chairs each stand 37 1/2 inches tall to the top of the back and measure 21 inches wide by 20 inches front to back. The seats are 17 1/2 inches in height and the width of the seats is 21 inches tapering to 16 inches across the back. The two arm chairs are the same. Though there is only 19 inches in width ... morebetween the two arms and the front of the chairs and all the seats are 17 1/2 inches deep front to back. Welcome! For sale is this pair of Arne Jacobsen design series 7 butterfly chairs. Please check out my pics. They will be the best description for these items. They hve no smoke odors and are not warped or abused,just normal aging are seen and the finish I beive t be original.The tubular chrome frames are not pitted.There is some veneer along the edge that has worn off in some areas, not very noticeable, no severe damage of any kind, the legs are in good condition, however some of the caps on the end of the chairs legs have worn through, but I understand they are replaceable. There is a tag on the bottom that reads VP/ made in Italy. Having looked up the origin of the chair, I found that in 1950-1952, Arne Jacobsen and Verner Panton, had collaborated on several designs before parting ways, and the only thing I can come up with in regards to ... morethe label"VP" is Verner Panton and the connection he had with Arne Jacobsen. Anderson Danish Mid Century Modern Teak Dining Table 8 Leather Chairs
A classic teak dining table manufactured in Denmark. This table is the quintessential Danish modern expandable dining table. It features two Dutch style extraction leaves which pull out from either end of the table allowing for eight to dine comfortably. The frame is solid wood and the legs and banding are solid teak. 6) Mid Century Danish Modern teak signed Henry Ostergaard for Randers Mobelfabrik dining chairs. The matching 94" dining table is sold separately and can be included in this sale for a reduced price. Please message me before you buy for a price for the table and 2 leaves. As well as the 6 chairs if you are interested in the full set. Each chair has its original upholstery. It was protected by a later upholstery. That I removed. There is only one minor light bluish spot the size of a pencil head in the front of one chair that you have to strain to see(pic 8) I was extremely surprised at how well the original fabric is, while I taking the newer 80's upholstery off. Please note that there probably was a cat in the house these were in because I removed hair from the seats and they still may have slight traces of fuzz, etc. The chairs ... moredo not have any odors. They are in very nice original condition. Each chair is signed underneath Randers Mobelfabrik Made in Denmark with No. 58 stamped on the underside of the chair. There are a few tiny white bumps or marks on the chair legs and one noticeable pencil line size scratch on a chair back shown in pic 9. One chair has a slight wobble to it. This can be fixed when putting pads underneath the legs. Each chair is 30" tall x 18" deep x 19" wide. They are each 100% SOLID TEAK throughout(sides, seat, arms and back) with removable upholstered seat and back cushions. Great looking from any viewing angle and they provide excellent comfort. Cushions are the original heavy inner spring design, so no fear of them loosing their shape verses just foam. Upholstery is a wonderful neutral oatmeal ... morecolor woven wool, so will match in any color scheme decor. This table is absolutely gorgeous and in excellent condition with a few light surface scratches and a little finish wear along the edges of the table. I noticed one circular watermark. It faded with furniture polish but can be seen at certain angles. The table measures 44" wide without the leaves. There are 2 10" leaves making the total size 64" x 44. The table height is 29.5" The table has a wonderful design and lovely woodgrain patterns. Lot of 4 iconic 40/4 stacking chairs in bent oak plywood with chrome steel bases. Designed in 1964 by David Rowland. The 40/4 is part of MOMA's permanent collection. The chairs are all in good vintage condition with normal signs of use. There is a bit of wear to the plywood edges, along with a few small veneer chips, see pics) The finish is very good and there is no loose veneer. We used the original cushions for exact sizing and had them replaced. Also new upholstery and strapping, the fabric is MCM faint pattern muted mellow yellow color which we had done from a well known vintage restoration furniture dealer in San Diego CA. Pair Vintage Slipper Lounge Chairs Mid-Century Modern Hollywood Regency
You get the pair. I don't see a name tag but they are well made and vintage from probably the 1950's to 1960's. The cushions are on real springs-not the newer knock offs on plywood and thick foam. They could be designer pieces as they came from the same estate as the Jens Risnom and Girsberger chairs that I have just listed. These are sound and solid with no holes or tears to the original fabric. Fabric is quite thick and durable and rather a golden yellow color. Seat height is 16 1/2" in the front-14 1/2" in the back-so they set an angle and you just sort of lean back into them. Cushioning is still in good shape and they set comfortable. Seat width is 24 1/2" with a depth of 22" Back height is 33" They are pretty clean but you might want to hit them with some upholstery cleaner. I don't see any stains. ... moreI need to remove the legs from the seat frame to hold the shipping cost down. To do so I need to remove the staples from the dust liner on the underside to get to the nuts and bolts that hold the legs on. They just bolt right back on with wing nuts for the front and nuts for the rear legs. Upholstery will stay tight as that is on with small nails. Some wear to the mahogany stain finish but not a lot.
