There are two body sections with splits and one key pivot point has an old repair. I am sure that the cork and pads will need replacement. The case is missing its key and the lid has a bleached spot. 1956 Martin 0-17T Tenor Acoustic Guitar. All mahogany with a deep rosewood fretboard. 97% original- One Tuner Ferrule has been replaced(see picture#12) There is not very much playwear for a 60 year old gem on the fretboard. Frets, or back of the neck. Sure, there are the usual superficial scratches but as you can see from the pictures its survived the half-century rather unscathed. No repairs or cracks. Additional pictures have been provided below including interior shots. The tuners are in great shape, neck, pickguard and bridge are tight to the body, and the frets have a lot of meat left. Here is an absolutely gorgeous early to mid-twentieth century English mahogany wardrobe by the fine furniture makers F Wrighton& Sons. Complete with their very distinctive marked key. The cabinet of this wardrobe incorporates beautiful wood veneers including crotch mahogany front doors and lovely side panels. This delightful Queen Anne style cabinet has a shell motif at the top and spoon feet along with classic design and craftsmanship. This piece was somewhat difficult to photograph due to the reflective nature of the high gloss finish so please pardon the reflections. but I believe I've included enough pictures to show how just lovely this wardrobe is, and free of any major scratches or damage to the finish. The wardrobe is also beautiful inside, clean and free of any musty smells. Solid Mahogany inlaid triple bookcase Curvd glass c1900
Here is a wonderful solid mahogany bookcase with mother of pearl inlay along with satin wood. It is a triple bookcase with the two outer sections having flat panel glass and the center of attention focusing on the middle curved section. This section also has an incredible inlay in the bottom locking door and a beautiful claw foot. The back fancy board is still intact which adds so much to this case. It dates to the late 1890-1910 era and has its original finish which is outstanding. A good cleaning is all this beauty needs. I also have the original key attached to a silk gold material. All glass is original wavy glass which shows its true age. Again this is solid mahogany not a veneer. Inner shelves are adjustable. The bookcase measures 69 inches tall by 60 inches wide and is 16 inches deep at the curved glass and 14 at the ends. 1950s Slingerland 22x14 blue sparkle mahogany bass drum shell w/ nickel lugs
Up for auction is a gorgeous 1950's Slingerland 22" x 14" blue sparkle bass drum shell. The shell is mahogany with maple reinforcing rings. The wrap color is consistent all the way around the drum. The seam is tight with no pulling or shrinkage. The drum looks to be factory drilled for both a rail consolette and a cymbal mount. The drum is in round. There is some very minor pulling in a few spots between the shell and rings. But this can easily be remedied. I am not a drum expert, so I'd prefer to leave as it"as found" and leave any changes to the buyer. The bearing edges look good with only a few minor rough areas. The interior is very clean, and the screws and washers all appear to be original with the drum. As you can see, the drum comes with a full compliment of nickel lugs, which are in great condition.no ... morerust or pitting! With some polish they will give you that"vanilla glow" that only a nickel finish can! As I had mentioned previously, I am not a vintage drum expert, so if any information here is incorrect, please let me know and I will change anything that needs correcting or clarification. Although it looks like it has two tambour doors, there is an extra deep drawer in the base with a simulated drawer in the front. The outside drawers are all reverse curved with picture frame molding and a beautiful embossed eagle, and formal style brass hardware. The two inside drawers have serpentine fronts. It’s a gorgeous piece of obviously high quality, although we don‘t see a brand name on it. It’s solid mahogany and the top has been re-sprayed in a medium gloss finish to reveal the grains of the solid wood used in this sideboard. The overall size is 67 inches wide, 23.5 inches deep, and 38 inches high. The depth of the tambour roll drawer is 31 inches wide and 20 inches deep, and 9.75 inches high. Fully covered bolster style arms with unusual flamed mahogany arm supports, a wide flamed mahogany seat-rail with u shaped front legs with raised panels of flamed mahogany. The beautiful cranberry damask fabric appears to have been recently applied and is in excellent condition with no issues we can find.
