We had planned on recovering them before we decided not to keep them. The chairs have"L" brackets added to the underside of each chair to give the seat portion more support. The wooden dowels that cover the screw holes on the sides of the chairs were glued in. When I took these chairs apart to get them ready for shipping, I cleaned the glue off of everything and added a double sided tape to hold the dowels in place when they are re-assembled. Antique Oak Round Pedestal Dining Table and 6 Oak Chairs
This is a lovely solid tiger oak table that measures 45" round and 28" tall. It has two 8" leaves. When both leaves are in place. It seats 6 people. I have 4 matching oak chairs and 2 extra matching oak chairs that are very similar to the 4 and all seats are upholstered with a lively print to match so you have extra seating when using the leaves. The chairs measure 38" tall, 17" wide and 16" deep. Both the table and the chairs are in great condition and have been refinished. I do not want to break up the set and would ideally like to sell the table and all 6 chairs. The price I'm asking is well below what the set is worth, but we are redecorating and need to find them a new home. I have up for auction. An antique DINING ROOM SET. The set consists of a large table that opens out on either end, there are 8 chairs, 6 side chairs and 2 captains chairs for wither end. There is a matching buffet that has the same wood& pattern. I believe this is Mahogany. There is what is called a stretcher like pattern under the table and the buffet. The chairs are upholstered, there are a couple of different fabrics, could not decide what I wanted to do them in. This came from an estate of a very well known Benicia family. Benicia was the first capitol of Calif. I have had this for 46 years, need to down size. Table measures 30" tall, 38" wide and 6 62" to 94" Long. Antique Dining Set ~6 Larkin#1 Cane Pressed back Chairs ~42" Pedestal Table~ 3- 11inch leaves Table extends to 103.5" and could accommodate 2 more 11" leaves 29 1/2" tall 42" square pedestal with 5 legs Picture#5 looks like the wood is totally a different color on one end. This is due to being under the ceiling light at that end and is not a true representation of the color. Since the table is a pedestal. There are no legs in the way for seating. As you can see, all 6 chairs will fit at the table, even when it is closed to 42" square. These square, solid wood, pedestal tables are scarce. I don't know the maker of the table, but the chairs and table are all"golden oak" stain and from the same time period of early 1900's. These chairs are all matching. But some had different seats installed, however, ... morethey are all restored to cane, which was the original style. Expect some variation in the stain, as the oak have lots of character in the grain. The chairs were made by the Larkin(Soap) Co. of Buffalo, NY(1875-1941) Furniture production began between 1901 and 1909. You might want to do a search on this fascinating historical business. Absolutely gorgeous antique French inlaid dining table and chairs good condition
Absolutely gorgeous antique inlaid dining table and chairs. There are four side chairs and two arm chairs. Custom nailhead upholstery on chairs with designer fabric. Set was purchased at an antique store in Camden. SC in 2000 for $5,500. Top of the table has a few places where the inlaid has come up a tiny bit, obvious wear to a table so old. It only adds to its character but could be easily repaired if so desired. The upholstery on the chairs could use a steam cleaning and under the table one of the sliders has come unattached as seen in the picture. Again, easily repaired. I'm not sure as to the exact age and/or maker but when it was bought we were told very early 1900's. Please feel free to ask any questions and I'll do my best to answer them! Antique Large Mahogony Dining Room Table With Mix Matched Chairs
I have had this table for 3+ years. It is a magnificent piece of craftsmanship. All together opened up it measures 48" wide by about 111" long. It is from the 1800's so it has eye and hook which connects the 3 pieces together and swing out extra legs to add strength and stability to the drop down leaves on the center piece. There are normal wear and tear for a piece this large but nothing substantial. The legs are beautifully crafted and it is a very solid table without being super heavy. The 6 chairs that came with it have repair damage on 2 of the chairs. It can seat 12 so I have 4 other chairs that do not match the other chairs and I also added 2 other mix matched chairs to seat all 12. I can't think of anything else about it but am open to any questions you might have. I have found a 10 seat table(also antique) that ... morefits my space better so I would like to have this picked up as soon as possible!

We know nothing about antiques. We saw the table, we loved it, we used it for over 25 years. When leaves are in. The table measures 38 by 62 inches long. There are 2 leaves that pull out on each end, and they are 17 by 38 inches. When these leaves are up and in place, the top becomes approximately 96 inches in length by 38 inches wide. Wonderful Set Antique Chairs& Table Wicker Furniture with Marble Top Good Condition Hard to find Handsome set of furniture in remarkable good condition. All chairs& table are solid and stand evenly on the floor. The set is not perfect- there are some breaks in the decorative wicker that are age& use related and not structural. There are some stains on the marble top- which we did photograph. The table is typical of Haywood Wakefield wicker stands in the design with double wide legs and the X stretcher in the base. THe marble is probably a replacement in that the wicker tables usually had a wooden top made of oak. The marble is not a composit or reproduction but real stone in a salmon& beige color with darker veins running thru it. There are some darker brown colors in the marble visible in the 3rd picture which have the appearance ... moreof stains but are actually in the marble itself. Very attractive'Small Space' table& chairs. Well designed with chairs that fit neatly into the space between the table legs. We estimate the set was made in the depression era of the 1930s. There is absolutely no weakness to the table or any of the chairs.The chairs need to be reupholstered, no doubt. However, the chairs are usable, they just don't look pretty. The table is extremely solid and heavy. There are 5 chairs, 4 side and one captains. The set is solid oak. The are pads to protect it at any size you have the table open to. There is a metal lever that releases the table to unlock it to put in the extensions. Measures 96" long with the(2) 20" extensions. And completely round without the extensions. Can also be used with just one extension. Some of the photos show shadows on the table because my grandsons basketball ... morehoop shaded it when I took the pictures. Offered is a nice old oak table w/an extra leaf and 2 chairs. The table is in good condition. However it does have some scratches and marks on the top and the feet. It was originally a kitchen table, then moved down to a finished basement where it was used as an all purpose table. Playing games, cards, as a desk, etc. so it acquired a few more scratches and marks in it's second life. Every once in awhile we'd wipe it down with Old English Polish and the finish would come up very nice. It probably could use a refinishing on the top if you wanted it to be perfect, but it still does look good. The table measures 48" in diameter and is 30" high. The leaf will add another 18" to the table so you'll have a nice 48" x 66" table. The chairs that go with it are not original to the table and the shade may be a bit ... moredifferent than the table, but they do go nice with it and are very sturdy. The table comes from a smoke free home. I have tried to give an honest description of the table and chairs along with the pictures, but please email me with any questions you may have. Drexel Heritage Talavera antique dining table, chairs and more
We are selling a beautiful dining room set consisting of an oval table that expands with 2 leaves and six matching dining room chairs. The Talavera from Drexel Heritage was crafted in December. 1972(certificate printed on underside of table) and has been extremely well cared for by its original owner, my grandmother. A protective pad and tablecloth were kept on the table whenever it was in use. The table measures 64 inches by 44 inches, plus two leaves- each leaf is 20" wide(total length of table is 104" with leaves installed) There are six chairs, all in good condition. I am almost certain it is made of oak but I am far from being an expert on wood. The label on the bottom states it was made by the Wisconsin Furniture company. It shows patent dates for this design. Twin Pedestal Extension Table" on the label as well. From my research it looks to be nearly 100 years old. Thinking it was produced about 1915. I do not have any other information on the table other than the label as it was a gift from a friend. It's been in our family for 50 yrs. And it was an antique when my mother purchased it in the 60's. Made of solid oak with stenciling on the table and chairs, please see pics. This a a perfect table for a small kitchen. I had it in my family room and played games and built puzzles on it! CONDITION: The table& chairs both need a little love. 3~ Antique Farm Table Primitive Country Kitchen Handmade Oak Wood Dining Chairs
Lot of 3 wooden chairs. They appear to be handmade. They are approx. 33 inches tall. The seat is approx 14.5x15.5 inches. I believe these are oak. But I am not an expert on wood, so please judge for yourself. They need some TLC. The wood is rough in spots with some staining, maybe a paint spot or two, a split in the wood at the seat back, as shown in photo) some loose nails or joints.very primitive. They could use a refinishing or they could be used the way they are with their added character, just add a cushion! They may need to be tightened up a bit and some areas are a little loose, but you can sit in them as-is. I used these in my kitchen for a few years, but when I got new chairs these spent a couple of years stored in the shed. They will need a good cleaning. Vintage Antique Drop Leaf Dining Room Table with 2 Leaves & 6 Chairs, NICE!!!
BEAUTIFUL! Vintage antique dining room set: Drop leaf table in its smallest form measures approximately 24 in. wide by 42 in. deep. Opened without any leaves measures approximately 58 in. long by 42 in. wide. Has two(2) 12 in. original leaves and one smaller makeshift 10 in. leaf that make the table a maximum length of 92 in. long.almost 8 ft. Has 4 double curved legs with claw feet and brass toe caps. The table and leaves are in very nice condition with no major scratches. Comes with a 2 piece. Thick felt table cover protector. Set of six(6) dining chairs are Victorian style with curved legs. Padded upholstered seats and ornately carved backs(please see closeup picture) The fabric on the seats is cream/off-white colored(a little darker than the pictures show) with light rose/pink colored flowers. The fabric on the seats is in really good ... morecondition with no rips or tears, but there are some spots and they could use a good shampooing/cleaning. Overall all the wood on the chairs is also in very nice condition as well. PLEASE NOTE: The back on one of the chairs has broken in half horizontally, but can very easily be fixed. I will leave that up to the buyer who can probably do a better job than myself. This dining set has been in the family for many generations and has been taken very good care of over the years. I don't know and have no way of knowing if the table and chairs originally came together as a set or not. Unfortunately the last person who would know this has recently passed away. It is truly more beautiful than the pictures depict and would be far more appreciated seen in person! With a little work to fix the back of the one chair and clean the upholstery.
