Presenting: Rasmus Danish Modern Glass Front China Display Cabinet Hutch Fantastic Teak finish Lighted upper cabinet with glass shelves and glass doors Base cabinet with slide out drawers on the left side The top cabinet sits on top of the base cabinet and you can use the base cabinet separately as a credenza if you so wish The base cabinet is 61-1/2" wide x 19" deep x 32-1/4" high overall The top cabinet is 58" wide x 15" deep x 39-1/4" high overall The whole thing is 71-1/2" high, Condition Details: It is in great condition overall. It looks very nice. If you look closely for flaws. You'll see the following issues. See the pictures. The top cabinet has a few chips to the edge of the vaneer on the left side where it comes in contact with the base cabinet. The finish on the left and right sides has some wear. Kind of like fading or weathering down toward the bottom. This is more visible in bright light. The base cabinet has several scratches on top and one good scrape due to the top cabinet being pushed around when put on top or adjusted over the years. The majority(including the scrape) is hidden by the top cabinet and what emerges out from under the top cabinet faded quite a bit when I applied Old English polish. Check out the pictures. The right hand cabinet door was pulled off and reattached at some point. This can be seen if you're looking for it(see my picture) The door looks fine. There are a couple hinges out of adjustment on the top cabinet doors as shown. The lights all work. The left hand one has a push switch. We installed 60 watt bulbs because that's what we had on hand. Retro. Mid century, steampunk, shabby chic.all good words that describe these four chairs Let's be honest now. Could these chairs be any more cool? No, not really. If this is your style, it doesn't get much better than this, even when you factor in the small bits of tweaking this set may require. These chairs look like they would go good in a 1960's decore Overall this set ain't bad. Although there is some damage, most of it could be fixable. First off, you will notice in one of the images that there is damage to the feet of the chairs. Most of the legs on these chairs have missing plastic feet. Next you'll see that there is some puncturing and breaks in the vinal cushions, each cushion image is taken from a different chair, so expect at least two chairs to have bottom cushions in need of patching up, but you were going ... moreto reapolster them anyway. The last really significant negative can been seen in the 11th image. This cushion actually comes off one chairs and it's not supposed to. Upon closer inspection. It looks like the tabs securing the bottom of the cushion to the chair have broken, so that need a repair too. Aside from what was mentioned above, just be aware of the usuall age wear, along with light rust and some general dirt. Such wear can been seen in our pictures of this item. The chairs are very sturdy and very comfortable. The cane backs are intact and the forms are not broken. The wood needs stain or paint. For auction is an absolutely stunning Berkey& Gay burled walnut dining set. It will become the focal point of any home. The set includes dining table with expansion leafs(to seat 8) Dust bag, and table pad. There are 6 chairs(one armchair) a linen cabinet, and a buffet. All pieces are hand carved, claw and ball. Chair seats are navy blue, floral, needlepoint and each one is unique. Truly the prettiest set I've ever seen. The fact that it still exists as a full set after traveling around the world and all over the USA make it even more unique. There are a few scratches and one claw(not foot) missing from the buffet, and one of the leafs is missing a trim piece on one side. I asked an antique restoration person, and he said the flaws can be repaired. There have not been any repairs that I'm aware of. Jacobean Style 1940's- 1950's Wooden Antique Dining Set & Matching Cabinet
This Dining Set has been in my family for well over 40 plus years. I have searched the internet and have never been able to find another on like it. This dining table is incredibly heavy. Seats 8, 2 of which are armed chairs. The engraving on this table is spectacular and it is possible it predates the early 1900's but my best guess would be approximately 1940's- 1950's. I have done my best to show its imperfections. It could use some TLC and refinishing, especially where my dog from years ago had a table leg fetish as shows in the pixs. This table can be valued far more than I have it listed for. Like I mentioned, I have never been able to find one of the same style before. I have revised this for the last time to now include the matching Cabinet/Hutch with 4 total drawers and 3 sectioned areas inside.
