2 Vintage Watt USA Pottery Oven Ware Blue / Pink Banded Mixing Bowl 7" & 9"
These wonder Watt bowls measure 9 x 5 1/4 and 7 x 4 inches tall. The 9 inch bowl has a tiny tiny flea bite on the top rim and small chip on bottom edge. There is a small spot inside the 9 inch bowl that looks like the glaze missed. The 7 inch bowl has 3 small chips near the bottom edge. There is some crazing in and around these pieces but no cracks anywhere. They look wonderful. Great ribbing patter on outside. They are marked Watt USA Oven Ware 7 and 9 on the bottom. I always try to describe to the best of my ability.

This Hugh bowl measures 14 1/4 inches across and 7 1/4 inches tall. Look at pictures carefully for defects. There is slight crazing throughout and some pitting and dark spots inside. A small flea bit and tiny chip on the rim. A few popped bubbles on the glaze inside and out. What appears to be cracks on the bottom is really just the crazing. Crazing on the inside walls of the bowl. Some utensil marks on the inside bottom. A few crack marks that were in the Clay at time of firing. Marked USA 14 Pottery Oven Ware on the bottom. A beautiful display piece but practical too. I tried to describe the defects and flaws in this bowl to the best of my ability but overall. It is in wonderful condition. This Vintage Watt Pottery Bowl is magnificent. The worst is the chip on the bottom. See the photos carefully. All the rest of the imperfections are from the making of the bowl, like the Clay on the bottom near the word Watt was all done when this bowl was made. Has some firing pop marks which I have tried to show. Maybe one or two tiny flea bites. Tried to take photos in different lighting. This is an antique American yellowware pottery mixing bowl. It is approximately 5” in height and has a diameter of 9” It weighs approximately 3 lbs. The bowl is bottom impressed with“104/ and“U.S.A. This type of bowl was mold produced and came in various sizes. The rim collar underside and the rim surface were purposefully left unglazed. This is because the bowls were fired in kilns stacked together and this kept them from sticking together. Bowls like this were made c. 1880-1930 in the northeast and midwest especially in New Jersey and Ohio. This bowl has a hexagonal base with mold embossed decoration on the sides and rim collar. It also has 3 bands of blue slip decoration around the body which is glazed with an alkaline clear glaze. This particular bowl is an older bowl and was used. Antique Cobalt Blue Salt Glazed Stoneware Crock Bowl-Banded-Wedding Ring-7 1/4" Prev Stop Play Next This is a nice antique cobalt blue salt glazed stoneware banded crock bowl in great condition with no chips or nicks. It has a 2" very thin surface glaze hairline coming off the rim on the inside. Several pitted spots in the clay around the outside of the bowl, which probably originated when the bowl was originally fired, some glaze nicks and some original glaze flaws. The bowl is a bit dingy and the inside is stained and yellowed from age and use, which only adds character to the piece and is the reason I love old pieces like this! What a cool looking little canister! It is five inches tall. 4-3/4 inches across. Versatile for smaller grained items, perhaps even some coffee. By Frankoma, red clay, Item 26G. No chips or cracks. On bottom. There is not a chip but what appears to be a 1/4 inch molding anomaly that looks like a small item or stone got into the machinery and left an impression that you can see in the picture on the outer ring. Doesn't go through to the inside or compromise the structure at all. The reason I feel it is not a chip is that something hitting with that force would have caused emanating cracks or more damage. But if I'm wrong, you be the judge from the picture and bid accordingly. Buyer pays postage at the 2 pound. 10 ounce level.

MID-CENT MODERN SCANDINAVIAN PORCELAIN AMORPHIC FRUIT BOWL W/BLUE BANDED BASE
For your review and consideration is this splendid. Most likely Scandinavian, VINTAGE MID-CENTURY MODERN. WHITE PORCELAIN FRUIT BOWL with AMORPHIC FORM and BLUE COBALT BANDED BASE. It is numbered on the base but unfortunately not signed. There is also no affixed paper maker's label so assigning it a designer and production house was not possible. It measures 3 5/8" in height to the high spot on the bowl rim and 3" in height to the low spot on the bowl rim. It measures 9 3/8" in width(longest bowl width) and measures 8 3/8" in width(shortest bowl width. Notwithstanding a failure to attribute the piece to a maker. It has all of the classic lines of high Modernist Scandinavian ceramic art. The cobalt blue banded base is glaze, not paint and was kiln-fired. The bowl is in superb condition and the white of the porcelain ... morebody is bright Titanium white and just pops! The matte finish is immaculate and free of surface abrasions or marks. The blue banded base is untouched, sporting a very clean, nick-free bottom edge. There's not a scratch, chip or abrasion on the entire piece. The only thing it doesn't have going for it is my failure to assign it a maker, which is not fault of it's own. OVERALL CONDITION: VERY GOOD/EXCELLENT/NEAR MINT!
