TITLE: Antique Victorian Mahogany Armoire Wardrobe Closet w/ Mirror PRODUCT NUMBER: BAA59 ITEM DESCRIPTION: Origin:England Circa 1890 Mahogany Finish Solid Wood Construction Late Victorian Styling Carved Split Swan Neck Pediment Molded Crown Paneled Cabinet Front Paneled Interior Large Accent Carvings Large Bevelled Edge Mirror Ornate Drop and Bail Pulls Dovetail Joinery This beautiful antique mahogany armoire has a split swan neck pediment with accent carving. A large rectangular mirror on the single cabinet door, and exquisite paneled accent carvings on either side of the mirror. The bevelled edge mirror is very clean almost suggesting that is has been replaced but I found no evidence to support that it is not the original. The cabinet door has an ornate solid drop pull and the drawer has two large decorative bail pulls. The skirt is arched on the side of the piece and there are scalloped brackets on the front. The interior is paneled and has two mounted hooks and 6 sliding hooks on the hanging bar. A very nice piece in remarkable condition for the age(circa 1890) this armoire is certain to become a cherished heirloom. Condition: It has some age appropriate signs of wear including scratches. A little bit of history: My grandparents were married in 1919. This chifforobe very likely dates from the very beginning of their marriage. If not. When not displayed there they are displayed at the Lancaster library. The three foot dolls represent the Susquehannock Induans from that area. Vintage Barbie Dream House Furniture Lot 1977 - Couch, Wardrobe, Vanity & Seat
Up for sale is a wonderful lot of Barbie Dream House furniture from 1977. The lot includes a wardrobe. Vanity, vanity seat, couch, and coffee table. The wardrobe has two doors that open up to a mirror, shelves, and three drawers. The mirror inside shows signs of age, as it is a bit wrinkled and has scratches on it. The outside of the wardrobe also shows some signs of age, such as marks on the back and a white spot on the front. The couch is made of green plastic and a fun vintage printed fabric. It is in good shape overall, though on the back there is a small section of fabric that is coming undone. It needs to be glued back into place. The coffee table is also in great condition, though it is missing the top piece of cardboard. The vanity has the remnants of blue on the top, and the mirror is somewhat wrinkled and scratched. Selling on eBay since 1999! Vintage SPQR Made in Italy Valet Clothing Wardrobe Butler Stand. The wood is in overall very good shape with barely any nicks or marks. Marked SPQR Made in Italy on the tray and marked Made in Italy on the bottom of the base. 46 inches high to the top of the tray. 18 inches across where the jacket is hung. The base is 14 x 13 inches. On 4 wheels. The top piece with the tray inserts into the stand with two dowels. That piece should be glued in to make it more secure. Below the knob that loosens and tightens the tray movement. The thin piece of wood is broken on the end. This looks like it is a decorative piece which can possibly be repaired but is not very noticeable as it is under the tray. HUGE Rare Vintage DOYLE NY Armoire / Hardrobe / Wardrobe Mirrored Doors & Brass
HUGE Rare Vintage DOYLE NY Armoire/ Hardrobe/ Wardrobe Mirrored Doors& Brass Overall Dimensions: 100" Tall x 90" Wide x 27" Deep(when Closed Up) we believe the dominant wood to be Mahogany but are not sure When we acquired this piece it was missing the left side panel. We had one replicated but are missing the original hinges and had to install modern ones. It was also missing the backs and bottoms so we had those made as well. The main middle door is warped(as illustrated in the 7th picture) which may or may not be the cause of the broken mirror, the mirrors in the side doors are ok. Someone has installed newer& smaller light housings in the upper brass and also stapled the wire to exterior of the right side of the panel(which we had filled) and also installed cheap"L" brackets inside as make shift shelf ... moresupports. You cannot see them but there are clothes rods up top. The key seems to only want to make the middle door lock work but will need some fine tuning as well as the rest of the unit upon installation in it's final resting place. One thing that I have realized is that my shop floor is not level and it really makes a difference that this piece by installed on a level surface. There were only 4 complete Nut& Bolt sets(but 3 other bolts but not the nuts) included which we used to attach the inner panels to the base but had to use newer bolts for the top support. Overall Acceptable but will need some work. This is truly a fine piece and will gladly answer any questions. Please take a moment to review our feedback.it will speak for itself We have to Find.
