A metallic gold seal inside the top drawer reads ... moreHooker Bassett Seal of Quality. Stenciled on the back is XO 30 ROBE. It is 36" wide x 60" tall x 20" deep. With inside closet measurements of 20" deep x 16-1/2" wide x 56" high. The drawers are dovetailed and four drawers are 15-1/4" x 14-3/4" x 8" deep. The fifth(top) drawer measures the same accept it is 6" deep. The mirrored top adds 6" to that side height measurement. Overall, the original casters add 2" to the height. They also make it easy to move. The knobs and pulls are of a white metal with marbleized pink thermoplastic decoration-celluloid or Catalin. Etc. It is a quality wardrobe in very good solid condition. There are very small pieces of veneer missing mostly on the bottom. There is a tiny piece missing on the top edge of the third drawer down and a crease in the front of the second drawer from the top. The mirror has some small issues. This piece was purchased by my mother as a place to keep her many crochet projects and to store her completed afghans. It served her well over the years. All her things are being sold off. Although considered common furniture in the 1920s-30s it is an excellent example of detail and craftsmanship. This type of furniture was made by many different manufacturers and sold by many different stores; so finding an exact manufacturer might not be possible. The more common furniture usually was not stamped by any manufacturer. Possibly made from bass wood or common wood. Would like to sell as a group. The furniture is dated 1974 in the United States by the Louis Marx company. The couch and chair are in excellent clean condition and are made of a sturdy plastic. Offered here: Vintage 1978 Sindy bedroom furniture which fits all similar size dolls including Barbie. This auction includes: 1. Dresser with working drawers and stool which matches the blue bedspread. The flowers are included but I also found the original blue flowers and they are also included but not pictured. There is a very sweet yellow powder box with an S on it and a lotion bottle on the clean tray. 2. The bedside table has a built-in lamp which actually worked with a battery at one time and could possibly be made to work again. The original lightbulb is included and the lamp shade. 3. The wardrobe is also very detailed and offers lots of closet space with three working drawers and 4 hangers. The decorative trim on top and the mirror need to be glued. 4. Matching bedside breakfast tray has tiny dishes and original throw rug in white"shag" ... moreis also included. 5. Sindy's white bedroom slippers are hard in find but here they are-with some darkening at the glue but intact and glamorous all the same. 6. The bed has a comfy foam mattress with blue comforter and dust ruffle. The headboard has broken off and needs to be glued back on. An extra red and white bedspread and pillow are included. The Pepsi bottle is damaged from age and the pizza box holds 3 slices. Has slight signs of age wear on paper. Vintage Doll Furniture Folk Art Hand Made Primitive Wood Footed Sugar Box "EVA"
Up for auction is a vintage piece of doll furniture resembling a sugar chest. Signed EVA, with side handles, recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia PA area. It is made from pine, hand crafted, with four splayed leg peg feet. The only condition issue that we see is there appears to have originally been a chain to hold the top up, only a remnant of one screw reamains, but an easy repair if chosen. The base measures approx 5 3/8" by 4" the top measures approx 7 1/2" x 5 3/4" and it is approx. 6 1/4" tall. The other condition issue is the letters eva have glue marks around so may have been added by someone other than the original craftsman. Tin, includes the bed, which measures about 15-1/2 inches long, 9-1/8 inches wide, and 8 inches tall at the head end; wardrobe/armoire measures about 13-1/2 inches tall, 9 inches across and 5 inches deep; and dresser is about 11 inches across, 8 inches tall and 6 inches deep, plus the mirror adds an addition 5-1/2 inches to the overall height- mirror slides down in back of dresser for storage. Set is in good played with condition- there are some light/small scratches and some very small rust spots here and there, one dresser drawer has some rust inside, see photo, light rust/discoloration on the handles. The side is worn/chipped.At bottom of right side back. see picture 2. And 29 marked in pencil on the bottom. This was an estate sale find so I have no idea of the actual age of the piece. The patina on the wood has rich color. It came with some doll furniture I am listing. They had 1942 and previous owners name marked on the bottom in pencil. Vintage Doll House Mansion w/ Furniture - NRFB - Made by Toymaster
This is Toymaster Number 409. I removed one side of staples to photograph the house. But then decided that I might never get all of the pieces neatly tucked back inside. The box is approximately thirty-seven by thirteen by five inches. It is stuffed full of printed fiberboard pieces. I also saw a small paper bag that was stapled shut. It felt like it might be the people to go with the house, but I am not sure and did not want to open it. The pieces all appeared to be in nice condition-which I would expect as it had never been opened. Furnishings for the house are also included in the box. The instruction sheet says that"Some people can assemble it in 90 minutes; others take longer" A great addition to that collection-and a marvelous way to display that miniature furniture with its dolls.

Chair and coffee table. The sofa is 8 1/2" long and 2 3/4" deep. The cushion on the sofa is one piece and has some slight staining on the lower outside edge. The chair is 3 1/8" wide with a one piece cushion that also has some slight staining on the lower outside edge. Coffee table is 5 3/4" long and 2 1/8" deep with a clear plastic top.
