This is a beautiful Walnut Armoire. Louis XV era, circa 1800-1899. It has a single beveled mirror door and has intricate carving on the top and on the bottom drawer. The inside has 5 shelfs measuring 3' x 13" and an inside lockable drawer measuring 27 1/2" x 19 1/2" 4" deep. The inside of the armoire is lined with birdseye maple. The armoire measures 95" to the top of the filigree. And is 40" wide. The beveled mirror measures 25 7/8" wide and is 57 5/8" high. The door is also lockable. Below the door/mirror is another drawer measuring 31 3/4" x 14" x 3 5/8" deep. It is in excellent original condition. It comes apart in 4 sections for easy shipping. A beautiful addition to anyones antique collection.

Age: 1850-1899 This stately piece is designed to break down so that it can be easily moved. The side doors are bowed in shape and curve back at the sides. They are exquisitely designed with a marquetry. Beading with a pattern of Cross Cut Walnut in the center framed the doors. A beautiful oval medallion with an urn full of flowers at the center decorates the tops of the side doors. The marquetry work is incredible. The brass mounts adorning the exterior of the armoire have been molded with a leaf patterns displayed. The drawer shown has a primary wood of walnut with a secondary wood of oak. The locks do not work but I'm sure can be repaired. I never did anything with them because I never needed too.
