The drawers all open and close but the red velvet type paper needs to be glued down. The top part is missing. It was scrolled with finials. I kind of like it better this way. It doesn't look as tacky. It is 12" high 9" wide 4 1\2 deep. There is just room for rings. Small earrings and a few necklaces not much more. Is made out of plastic and is painted to look distressed. Here is a wood Jewelry Armoire/ Chest. Stands 11" high. Length is 8 3/4" and width is 5" Two etched glass doors with a floral design. Inside the one there is a rotating necklace hanger, 2 compartments and mirrored back. The other one has 9 long ring slots. One pull out drawer for storage. Pink velvet lining. There are a couple of minor scratches and small dings but overall a very nice box. I would say the finish is a cherry or dark oak tone. Please view all photos. Thanks for looking!

For your Bidding consideration in this Auction is this incredible Birds Eye Maple Armoire. It is designed. And made, in a Rococo style and can easily blend with almost any period piece or setting due to its timeless beauty and quality of construction. It and has a variety of markings and Label validating its maker and age which are captured and shown in the photos. There is a heavy paper label on the base of the Armoire which identifies it as"WIDDICOMB FURNITURE CO. GRAND RAPIDS MI. George Widdicomb founded the company in 1858. It went through a few name changes due to family member involvement and in December of 1873, the name was changed to Widdicomb Furniture Company. In the late 1800's Widdicomb products included bed frames. Chiffoniers, Mirrors, Nightstands and other bedroom furniture of various kinds made of Oak, Ash, Birch ... moreand Maple. And fortunately, they also manufactured Armoires/ Wardrobes such as this magnificent piece. Widdicomb at this time were designing Furniture in French/ French Rococo, American Revival and Colonial Revival styles. Many of their pieces are found in Museums and Collections around the world today. This Armoire stands 76" Tall at the center point. 34 1/2" wide at the widest point and 21 3/4" deep. I estimate its weight at 75- 100 pounds but just a guess. Let me just say, the Birds Eye on this piece is stunning. It is exemplary of the age when you could get such quality wood from virgin trees. The concentration of Eyes is not found newer furniture. The entire piece of furniture appears to be made with Birds Eye Maple wood and veneer. The only exception I can note is the side boards of the drawer are Birch I believe. The front and back of the drawer are Birds Eye. The door and the back plate for the mirror on the inside of the door are Birds Eye as is the back and top of the cabinet and the entire interior. This one is special between the ornate carvings, burl panels and original decorative metal hardware. This wonderful large wardrobe stands 81 1/2 inches tall by 52 inches wide by 21 inches front to back and breaks down to travel and/or move easily in multiple pieces(bonnet, closet, door, base with drawers) so it can me used in old homes with small hallways or stairwells. This fabulous old wardrobe is in nice respectfully used ... morecondition inside and out. The large beveled mirror on the wardrobe door measures 50 1/2 inches tall by 15 1/2 inches wide and is clear with only a few spots of very minor pitting. The closet has a hanging rod and eight cloak hooks around the inside of the closet behind the mirrored door. The cabinet space with hanging rod behind that door measures 47 inches wide by 16 1/2 inches front to back by 59 inches tall and it is lined with an old thin linen type fabric. The large bottom drawer below is dovetailed and measures 44 1/2 inches wide by 16 1/2 inches front to back by 9 inches deep. Country French Carved Oak 1920 Antique Armoire. Authentic Country French furniture from about 1920. A solid oak armoire has raised panels and a very fine original finish than enhances the fine grained oak. Waxed and polished to a satin sheen. Only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain its warm luster. The right side has shelves that adjust on wooden supports and there is a closet hanging pole on the left. The interior could be reconfigured as desired and measures just over 20" deep. Keys are handles only, the locks do not operate and magnetic catches secure the doors.
