We are offering this beautiful antique bedroom set. Which includes FULL SIZED bed frame, headboard and footboard, mirror, desk and nighstand. We think this is genuine mahogany, but make no guarantees. I purchased it for my guest room from a reputable antique dealer in Birmingham, AL at Chelsea Antique market ten years ago. It has barely been used since I've owned it and is in excellent condition with only minor scratches that you could easily fix with a marker. It would not need refinishing and could go straight into your home. Our home is pet-free, smoke-free and kid-free and of course always climate controlled. The set does not include the mattress. Vintage 'antique white' waterfall style wood 1940's bedroom furniture
This is a lovely and unusual vintage 1940's'waterfall' style bedroom furniture set. Includes full size dresser with 4 drawers. Vanity with large mirror, end table with drawer and shelf, and a bench with fabric padded seat. These items were refinished in the 50's and have some wear to the paint. However the pieces are structurally sound and of good dovetail construction. Please review the pictures and contact me if you have additional questions. Measurements are as follows: Vanity: 19" deep. 26" high, 48" high. Mirror is 36 x 36" 4 drawers. End table is 13" deep. 26" high, 15" wide. 1 drawer and a bottom shelf. Missing mirror and frame has been repaired in a couple places ~~~~~~~~~~. The Strombecker Co. Started manufacturing in 1911 as the Strombeck Becker manufacturing co. The first successful toy that was made by them was in 1928. Which was a 10 cent airplane. In 1931 dollhouse furniture was added to the toy line. The painted furniture was living room. Dining room, kitchen and bathroom sets in 1" to 1 foot scale. Some of the fancier furniture had gold or silver swirls in finish. In 1934 they added the 3/4" to 1 foot furniture to fit the new popular sz dollhouses. Modern furniture started to be made in 1938. These are more sought after by ... morecollectors because less of them were made. Strombecker continued to make wooden furniture till the late 1950s when plastic furniture became much more popular. ~~~~~~~~. Items are vintage so there may be minor flaws.
