Vintage printers type tray-Excellent shadow box 11" X 16" Great Condition!
Vintage printers tray measures about 11 X 16 X 2 in very good condition. Was used lightly no stains or signs of damage. Has the metal strip and the back is made of press board with some rusting from the nails, however not visible from inside the drawer. Would make an excellent shadow box. From the style of construction and materials I believe it was made in the 40's or 50's. The last tray I sold ended going to Japan, I do not plan on selling anymore. VTG Small 8” Wooden Bowl/Tray w/Tole Painted Vine Trim

The lightweight wooden(bamboo? bowl is scooped out in the middle and has a sloping side at either short end. The long sides are straight on top and curved at the bottom. The underside of the dish is arched and finished with two‘runner’ type feet. The wood is finished with a light-colored stain. The bowl measures 8” long. 5” wide and 1 ½” deep in the middle. There are hand-painted green and white leaves, berries and vines decorating the inside edges of the dish and the two outer side edges. We feel this design is modern in style and in very good condition. There are no chips. Cracks or repairs on the piece. Enjoy! Antique Paper Mache Tray- Large with Gold Gilt& Birds For sale is a beautiful antique oval tray. Made from paper mache with black paint/lacquer and gold gilt-work. The tray is large, measuring 24" x 19" The design is truly beautiful with a pair of nesting birds amidst flowers and foliage. Unfortunately, the tray has damage along one side, as you can see in the photos. There are three very small small chips on the front of the tray which have been covered with black(paint? I have not attempted any repairs or cleaning, so as to avoid further damage to the piece, but perhaps someone knowledgeable could restore it. There are scratches on the back of the tray(see photo) which do not penetrate the lacquer. I'm guessing this piece is Victorian, perhaps late 1800s. You are bidding on a vintage piece that I found in historic bucks county This appears to be a turn of the century hand made Tumbler tray. The tray has 8 slots for tumblers and two rounded or curved wooden handles. There are two wooden supports under the slots to hold the tumblers up. It has a wire attached to the handles for hanging on the wall. It is in nice previously owned condition. No cracks or chips, is warped so it doesn't sit flat though. The tray of ovular form veneered in an array of woods to include satinwood? Harewood? fruitwood? and otherwise, the central fan inlay cross banded throughout with various friezes in differing woods as shown within a scalloped edge. Thomas Sheraton next to Thomas Chippendale was England’s most famous furniture designer and cabinet maker, he was born in humble circumstances and picked up drawing and geometry quickly apprenticing as a cabinet maker. Large Vintage 13.5" Italian Gilt Wooden Tray
This is a Large Vintage 13 1/2" Italian Florentine Gilt Wooden Tray. This beautiful tray could be great for serving. But it would also make a beautiful piece of wall decor, or for other display. Besides the beauty of this tray which shows all of the fine craftsmanship of Italian artisan. The large size of the tray makes it a very desirable piece. It does, however, have some condition issues as noted below. Please review them and the accompanying photos. The tray measures a 131/2" in diameter across the top rim. As found. The tray is not marked but I am confident this is an Italian piece and we will guarantee your satisfaction in that regard. Some of these pieces have an incised mark but others have only a sticker. I assume the latter was problem the case here and that the sticker came off or was removed. We do not know specifically ... morewhen this estate piece was made. It looks to me like it might be circa Mid Century. At the time of the original listing. We also had a number of other Italian trays and other Italian gilt items in our ebay store, as well as other decorative trays including metal toleware and art tile trays. Condition As found. There are severl edge chips through the applied gesso. Some of these are shown in a closeup photos. There are also two small, narrow crack marks, as seen marked with arrows showing the extent. It appears to me that these are just superficial cracks in the applied gesso, as commonly occurs on these pieces, that do not affect the wood, but I cannot tell to a certainty. Touching these up with some gilt RubNBuf or similar product would make this less noticeable. The tray is offered as found/ as seen/ as described. Reverse has a mark which reads Alcohol Proof, Made In Japan, Patent No. 67976. Lots of roses, but other flowers too. This tray goes well with Victorian. Colonial and that shabby and chic look. GORGEOUS vintage hand carved ROSEWOOD PALM LEAF SERVING TRAY. It has such BEAUTIFUL RICH LUSTROUS grain. I couldn't find another even close. That has the such detail. Pictures do not do this piece justice. This tray is a nice size. 12.5" X 8" It looks great. I don't think my late mother in law used this. She purchased alot of these items on her many travels years ago. I found this carefully wrapped with a bunch of other wood items and stored away with all of her other items that have been stored in her cedar closet for the past 40-50 years. A truly unique piece of history. An original wood printers type set drawer from the patented brand"New Departure" Polhemus cabinet manufactured by The Hamilton Mfg Co in approximately 1896. This drawer is in excellent condition and is approximately 21 1/2 inches X 21 3/4 inches. It has 110 individual compartments. It has two stamped engravings on it which are somewhat hard to distinguish on the picture.
