Just came out of grandfather's storage would love this to go to a good home. A vintage Itlaian Wooden Tray, hand painted and Gold colour finished as in photos. Beleive it was bought in an Italian flea market around the 1950's although I believe dates from during or before the 1940's Would be fantastic as a present or for a collector of vintage trays. Italian artwork etc. Has some obvious signs of wear and tear, but would be a fantastic talking point, and I am told these ar ehighly collectible. Very interesting design. Antique Wood Frame Mirror Shadow Box-Intricate Detailed Frame-Center Is Shelf
Hello. You are viewing my auction for an Antique Wood Frame Mirror Shadow Box. This is an Intricate Detailed Frame. The center of the frame Acts As Shelf or shadowbox where you could place figurines or other pieces. This is a Lovely Design with lovely wood. I am unsure of the exact wood that this frame is made of. The entire framed piece measures 33" long by 27" tall by 5" deep. The mirror by itself measures 27 and 5/8" long by 21 and 1/2" tall. The entire unit weighs 13.2 pounds. The mirror has a cardboard backing that appears it got wet at some point. The mirror on the one section has spotting on it which I have shown in the photographs. There are no breaks in the glass. The entire item does need to be cleaned. I leave all cleaning to the new owner. The wood frame has some marks to it however there are no breaks ... moreor repairs present. Lovely Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany and Satinwood Serpentine Gallery Tray c.1900
Up for auction this superb quality Edwardian Mahogany Gallery Tray with a Satinwood& Mahogany gallery. And two brass handles. The centre of the tray has a lovely inlay of a conch shell. Condition is good, a couple of minor nibbles to to gallery as shown in the photos- these are very minor flaws and could easily be restored or left alone as the tray is very solid and strong in every respect. The chipping is where you would expect. The inlay is all present and very clear. The colours are good and bright. The great thing about this tray is the shape, most are oval or square as the Serpentine shape was much more difficult to do with a wooden gallery and would have been the more expensive item. Inlaid trays are very sought after and usable items- think of how much a rubbish plastic laminated plywood one costs compared to this solid mahogany ... moreversion! Both brass handles are present and original. And have not been polished so they have a lovely colour and patina. Measurements 55cm x 35cm(to widest points) and 6cm tall to tops of handles. This item has come from a house in Sussex and has not been touched which is the best way to buy any antique, Please ask all questions before bidding and check out our other items. Here's a unique antique printer's type tray or drawer that would make a nice addition to an industrial or primitive antique decor. Use it as is or use it as a"shadowbox" to display small treasures. Miniatures and/or photos. It has strips of copper(or. Possibly brass) trimming the top of the horizontal-running dividers. This trim has a really nicely aged patina. The color of the metal and the fact that there are spots of green-colored oxidation on it lead me to believe that it is copper. The edge of the tray/drawer where the handle is located is covered in painted metal(as is the handle) The handle was designed so that a card/sturdy paper can be slid into it. I do not find a manufacturer's name or any other identifying information on it. This is a great find.not sure my pictures do justice to the great aqua blue color. It is some kind of molded wood; quite unique with a contemporary flair. When in the stand it is 22 1/2" tall; the tray itself is 21 1/4" long. 15 1/4" wide and 2" deep. The stand is quite sturdy.there are a few scratches in the paint. Antique Carved Wood Serving Tray This is a very nice estate sale purchase. It features intricate floral carving throughout the tray. Has a sweet aged patina that gives it that rich dark tone. The bottom is one piece of wood. The side are dovetailed and nailed. It still has an old'Taj Mahal Made in India" round label on the back. It measures a large 18" long by 11-7/8" wide and about 1-1/2" deep. It's old and not perfect. But very close. It shows some light wear, a ding on one of the handles and a few light bumps and nicks. Up for your consideration is a vintage/antique wood carved tray. This tray features a wheat field scene with workers harvesting a crop. Bales and a wagon with additional workers are in the background. You can even see the sun rising. The rim of the tray is carved with a wheat pattern. It measures approximately 12” long and 6 ¾” wide. This tray is full of detail and was made with amazing craftsmanship. Nearly all of the tray has been carved– even the bottom. Also. It appears that this was carved from one piece of wood. I received this at auction and do not know a lot about it. As you can see. This has been used a bit. Some of the stain and most of the glossy finish has come off in areas. Beautiful Victorian wicker and wooden tray in lovely antique condition. Under the glass surface. Resting on what appears to be a bed of possibly dandelion seedpods, are very delicate stems of floral sprays, some of which may also be tiny seeds. Above this display is a perfect Monarch butterfly. I am in awe of the steady hands that it must have taken to create this piece. The inside diameter is 13" and from handle to handle measures about 15" The inside depth is 1-1/2" There are a few"interruptions" to the wicker here and there but nothing that couldn't be cured with a drop of glue. There is some damage to one of the handles that isn't immediately noticeable; and if this were to be used only as a display piece could also be either left alone or repaired with a little glue. If a new owner should decide to use ... morethis to serve. However, it would probably be best to have the handle repaired. Other than the weakness to one handle it remains in sturdy condition. The wooden base and glass are in very good condition and both the wicker and the wood have acquired a lovely patina. This is an antique piece dating to the 1920s that I found at an estate auction. Antique stenciled wooden tray with handles has a milkweed background under glass with reverse painting of a gentleman seated serving tea to a lady in a pink dress. Second lady carries a teacup. Her dress is a deep teale. Both dress skirts are made of tinted milkweed. Gentleman at the far left carries a tea table and another pot. Small dog with a red bow is at the right hand corner. Base of the tray is stenciled wood with scrolls. Leaves and flowers. Button feet underneath. Early piece is labor intensive work and in nice condition. It measures 18 x 12.

Antique Oval Oak and Pierced Silverplate Tea Tray circa 1870 Up for bid is a very n ice old tea tray in the classic English style. It is made of dark oak. And trimmed with silverplate. It is the traditional oval shape, with handles for carrying. There are hallmarks on the tray, which I am unable to read, but arein the last few photographs. The tray measures 21 1/4 inches long. Measured from handle to handle, and about 13 1/ 4 inches wide at its widest point. It is in very good antique condition. The center silverplate oval is slightly discolored; the handles have a little discoloration on the wood; there is a tiny patched fleck on wood of one handle. Item: TRUE ANTIQUE English Printers Press Block Drawer Description: Right off the bat. I want to say I have sold many of these types of drawers before and this one is THE BEST one I ever had! The main reasons I love this particular drawer so much is the fact it is originally from England. Has a unique dark stain, has metal joint caps and has just the PERFECT amount of worn paint on the face to give it a superb vintage look. Stamped into the wood is the original makers name“STEPHENSON BLAKE& Co. Sheffield” England) On the front of the drawer just above the handle it says“LADSON. LONDON” I feel very confident saying this drawer is a true antique being from NLT the year 1910 and probably much earlier. At the joint of each partition. There is a brass decorative connector. I have never seen this before on a printers press drawer. It is gorgeous. ... moreOn the face of this drawer there is just a little bit of the original paint left which has a beautiful patina to it. My photos will really best further describe this very practical vintage piece. At our house. We have a couple of these that we turned into tables that are covered with cut glass. While we are antique hunting. Whenever we discover something fun or interesting that we can’t live without, we put it in our cubby hole box for everyone else to be able to see also. Antique wooden carved handle cutlery tray or caddy
Up for your consideration is a fine antique cutlery tray with carved handle. This utilitarian box would enhance any collection or look just perfect displaying a few treasured pieces of sterling flatware. I am unsure of species of wood. Perhaps walnut or oak. There is a pencil marking on the bottom which seems to indicate initials(CI) above a line and the number 75 below the line. The measurements of this tray are as follows: 13.5" long 8" wide 2.25" high 3.5" from bottom of tray to top of carved handle. This beautiful antique tray has tiny square nails and shows great craftsmanship. There is one flaw: there is a crack in one of the side panels at the bottom. see last picture) I almost did not notice it at first.I would call it the start of a break. In other words, if I were not careful, I might catch the bottom and the ... morecrack would become a broken piece. I won't attempt a repair, although I'm sure that a few dots of the correct type of glue would easily repair the crack. It runs along the grain of the wood, so once properly glued the repair may not be visible. I found this piece in a house built in the early 1800's that is being torn down. I've only cleaned it lightly with Murphy's Oil soap. I think this must have been hand carved. As the oval in the handle is ever so slightly off. I've enjoyed gazing at this for a few months, and now I hope that it finds a good home, hopefully with someone who may collect these, or knows more about them.

Here is an antique wooden serving tray with glass top and roses design. Measures about 23 x 14.5 x 2 inches. Thank you. I have been off ebay for a few months because I found myself homeless in December because a tree fell through the roof of my rented place. I was living paycheck to paycheck. So the event caught me at a bad time. The landlord told me the damage would be fixed within a month, but as things often go, it took a few months. So I rented a climate controlled storage unit because I own a lot of vintage ephemera collectables and needed to preserve them. I lived in a friends garage and then in my car for a bit, and now I am very greatful to be back in my own place. You may have noticed the negative feedback I have during that period. Vintage Antique Intricately Carved Wood Fruit Tray Handles Flowers Great Detail
This beautiful. Solid wood fruit tray features extremely detailed carvings of exotic flowers around the top outer rim of the tray. There are exquisite roses and other flowers with the stems and leaves that have been exacted in great detail. Inside the carved handles are beautiful ribbon bows, again depicted in great detail. The centermost portion of the tray features amazing depictions of fruits; black forrest grapes with vines, luscious textured pears, plums, strawberries, leaves and nuts, all richly textured as intricately as the real fruits. The tray is 12.25 inches in length and 8.5 inches at it's widest point and 1.5 to 1.75 inches in depth. On the back of the tray.
