VINTAGE ANTIQUE BRASS WALL HOOK PAINTED BROWN CHILDREN SAILING ON SHIP
This is an unusual brass wall hook that is painted brown. It looks to me like children sailing on a ship(but I could be wrong) The hook part is a figure of a man in robes and with a staff in his hand. I can't find any markings on it. It is 4-3/4" long and 2-1/4" wide. It is in nice shape. A little bit of paint has worn off. I also added some computer enhanced photos which show a little more detail but they do change the color of the hook.

Vintage Hammered Copper and Sterling Silver Plate / Wall Plaque Vicky 1950s Peru
For your consideration. A very cool little plate or wall plaque made of hand hammered copper and sterling silver by Vicky Industria Peruana, circa 1950s Peru. The plate has a large sterling silver anthropomorphic Incan bird god holding a staff and is hallmarked 925 on the base of the staff. The plate is in good vintage condition. There are some slight stains to the copper, as seen in pictures 2 and 3, but minimal patination. The piece has a hook on the back and is ready for hanging. Measures 5.75 inches in diameter. An intriguing little ethnic piece sure to add brightness and flare to your mid century decor scheme.

Pair of 12" brass plates for wall hanging. Dutch boy facing left with large bell in window. Wooden fence behind him, sun rising over left shoulder.Dutch girl faces right, poking a chicken with a stick, windmill in background, wooden clogs and dirndl type frock. Carrying large basket.Both plates have what appears to be handwritten letters on back- CH CLN. Girl's plate has numbers 636 stamped in old-fashioned font towards center of back of plate;Boy's plate is probably 634, although it could be 684, stampe in same place on back. Both plates have a single handmade wire loop soldered to back for hanging. I can date these to somewhere in the mid- to late fifties, thanks to the previous owner, but have no idea who the manufacturer or artist was.

Vintage Brass Framed Stamped/Hammered Wall Mirror
Vintage Brass Framed Stamped/Hammered Wall Mirror. Believed to have originated from England circa 1900-1940. Brass frame with seashell and vine design has beautiful patina. Family plaque or seasonal motif area at bottom measures 8 7/8" wide x 2 7/16" tall. Clarity is pretty good considering the age. There are very few. Very small dark spots along the outer edge of the mirror. Also, there is a slight clouding throughout the viewing area of the glass. It is exactly what you would expect from a piece this old but adds to the beauty of it. Measurements: Overall- 15 13/16"W x 19 5/8"L x 1/2" thick. Mirror is 8 7/8"W x 12 9/16"L.

Early Vintage Louis V Aronson Cast Metal Wall Plaque Jesus& Joseph Ronson The pickens were slim this weekend as far as auctions and estate sales. So I went to a favorite antique mall that always has an awesome February sale. Picked up lots of antiques and unique items to list! I also continue to list new items from the farm estate auction, with lookouts more new hardware pieces over the next several weeks. I am also going to one of my favorite flea market shows this weekend, so wish me luck! There’s something for everyone! Here is a lovely early piece of Louis Vincent Aronson Metal Art. Marked on the backside. L. V. A 1923, it is a metal relief image of the baby Jesus and Joseph with its original wall hanging loop at the back. This is a wonderful piece for the Aronson collector- most known for his Ronson lighters. Aronson was born in ... more1869 and attended the New York Technical School for metallurgy and metal working. He had a lab in the basement of his parents' home where he experimented with plating process on metal. These wonderful marked decorative pieces are very hard to find- so I was quick to grab it for you. The plaque measures 6 3/8" tall by 4" wide and is about 1/2" thick from the front to the back. It weighs a smidge under 1 lb, so it's heavy for its size. The metal is a silver color that is very dark in some spots from age. A magnet does not stick to it. It's hard to see in my photos, but in the light, you can still see a fair amount of the gold color of it's original plating. It is in excellent solid and sturdy condition- aside from the wear to the finish- no issues at all. You can see a new piece of tape on the front in my photos that I forgot to take off(it held on the dealer tag) it's been removed now, and the tape didn't alter the patina. It is dusty and could use a little cleaning, I have not cleaned, and have left in as found condition. It's a soulful piece. Please ask if you have any questions.
