This is a heavy Antique Solid Brass Pot. Kettle or other? It is 5" tall not counting the handle and with handle is 12" tall and 10" in diameter. Handle is riveted on, does not move and appears to also be brass and a very solid piece of it, I can see the brass color under all that patina. Needs to be cleaned as you can see in pics inside and out, or leave as is, lots of patina and inside is pretty dirty and needs to be cleaned. It's a very unique looking pot but I cannot find any markings anywhere that would indicate who the maker is. This Please email me with any? you may have and remember this is an antique piece and will probably not be in perfect shape, but I see no major issues. Antique Victorian Solid Brass Beehive Candlesticks. 13' Tall. The engraving on the bottom side reads: Good Luck" with a little horseshoe in the middle. The push-ups don't work and it sure needs to be polished. These are probably from the late 1800s and once they are polished they will be a one-of-a-kind treasure. I have not seen anything like these on-line or in antique shops. I know they have been in my family for at least 90 years. They have wonderful detail and are quite heavy. If I were to clean them up. Up for your consideration is a very old and heavy(for his size) Figural Turtle Flower Frog. He is missing most of his right front foot as seen in photo 3. he measures about 4" long. 3" wide including his feet and about 1 1/4" tall. He has been used and loved!
