I first want to explain that in the United States from the 1870s up until World War Two the biggest hobby in this country was painting on porcelain. You had amateur painters. Professional painters, professional porcelain decorating and painting studios and some American poreclain potteries had their own decorating departments. One crucial piece of knowledege you kneed to know is that the vast majority of this porcelain artwork done by American porcelain artists was painted on blank white porcelain imported in from other countries, You had French Limoges porcelain, Bavarian porcelain(and it was its own state from 1806 to 1918) German porcelain, Austrian-Bohemian porcelain and some came from Nippon(which is Japan) and other Far East Asian countries. The reason for this was the United States was still in its infancy when it came to porcelain production and the imported porcelain blanks were much less expensive then our own American porcelain blanks in most cases. Because of this a common mistake is to attribute antique American painted porcelain as to being painted in the country on the backstamp. There was a law institued in 1891 by the United States requiring all goods imported into the U.S.A. to have the country of origin on it somewhere. Therefore we have an abundance of antique hand painted porcelain by Americans on blanks marked from another country. Knecht. The tray is a 10" square with rounded corners. The little teapot is 4.25" tall to the top of its lid knob and a little less than 3" in diameter. The cream and sugar are also small. The creamer is 2.5" tall and the open sugar bowl is a bit over 2" tall and it's 2" in diameter. The cup is normal size at 2.25" tall and 3.5" in diameter. All the pieces are gold trimmed and are a matching set-the teacup is the only piece not signed. The tray easily holds all the piece for a single serving with enough room for an additional snack or lunch plate. The set is in very nice condition with no chips, cracks or breaks. I purchased this at an estate auction and am uncertain of its age but believe it to be several decades old. Please note that my shipping time is up to 5 business days as I have multiple jobs and can only ship one day a week. This is a Beautiful Antique Ceramic Creamer and Lidded Sugar Bowl ca. 1928-1930. The creamer measures 3" in height with a 1 1/2" base and 1 3/4" mouth- with a small chip on the base(see pics) The lovely lidded sugar bowl has a wonderful'Rose' as the finial which adds a nice detail. This measures 3 3/4" in height with a 2 1/4" base and 1 7/8" mouth. Light crazing. This matches a Tea Pot and a Chocolate Pot that are currently listed. Antique Asian Oriental Hand-Painted Porcelain Creamer & Sugar Set Imari-style
This antique Asian/oriental creamer and sugar set is made of porcelain. Hand-painted in a style that looks like“Imari” with much of the decoration done in“rouge de fer” iron red colored glaze) and gold. From my research, I found that although Imari is traditionally considered a Japanese style, that was created in the town of Arita, and then exported to Europe from the port of Imari, Saga, there is Chinese Imari, too. Both Japanese and Chinese Imari usually have a prominent blue underglaze, and that is missing on these pieces, so, not being an Asian pottery expert, I cannot give an accurate description of the style, or age, of these pieces. I did, however, find a piece, on eBay, with a very similar style, that was called“Antique Chinese Oriental Imari. item# 311009198667) Both the creamer and the sugar bowl have hand-painted bird and flower ... moredesigns. With ornate gold detailing that includes a lot of spirals. Besides the gold and iron red colors, there are pinks, browns, black and yellow colors that appear to be overglazes. Inspecting the pieces with a magnifying glass, I found that the lidded sugar bowl has hairline cracks—one on the lid that runs across the diameter, and two on the neck of the bowl. The hairline on the lid goes through the porcelain, but, to my eye. It does not show signs of having been repaired; and those on the neck of the bowl are minor. In comparison, one being about 1 ½ inches long and in a“v” shape, and the other ½ inch long, but hardly noticeable. Happily, I found no damage on the creamer, except for some surface wear from use. The creamer measures about 3 ¾ inches tall by 4 ½ inches wide, and the lidded sugar bowl measures 5 5/8 inches tall by about 6 inches wide. HAND PAINTED porcelain sugar bowl. The markings"THOMAS, BAVARIA, and then LA REINE the artist signed on the bottom and next to the handle on the bowl. This sugar bowl is from around the turn of the 20th century. 100 years old and not a single chip on it. Has normal wear. I fell in love with the beauty of the yellow roses and green leaves. They cluster on the front and back. And in a natural flow unto the lid. The gold handles on both sides of the bowl and one on top of the lid blend beautifully with the tan and brown background with gold trim on the top edge of bowl and the rim of the lid. This peace measures 3 ½” high. ... more6” wide, and 2 ¾” in diameter around the base. This has had a previous owner who took very good care of her collections. I can find no chips. Cracks or marks. Looks like normal wear. Any one interested in this pattern and would like me to keep looking for more, it would be my pleasure, I would love to find out more about this company. This piece measures about 6-1/2" at it's widest and about 4-1/2" wide in the perpendicular direction along the top. BLUE DELFT ANTIQUE COW CREAMER This is a stunning BLUE DELFT/FLOW BLUE cow creamer. It is glazed and hand painted with blue. Has windmill on one side and ships on both sides. The cow is extremely well detailed. The body looks so real. The face, neck, legs body, all show the muscles, sinews, etc of the cow. The hooves are cloven. The hair on the tip of the tail, the udder with teats. This is a really amazing antique creamer. About 7" nose to tail. 5.25" at highest point. Just under 2" at widest area. There is one factory flaw on the top opening near where the end of the tail rest on the back, this is UNDER THE GLaze and so is from manufacturing process. But 2 of the teats on the udder are chipped. One a tiny bit the other about half way, these are the front ones. I have photgraphed all these items. Antique Bavarian Creamer And Lidded Sugar Bowl, Hand Painted
This is an antique Bavarian sugar bowl and creamer with a white background. The upper half of both have a yellow/gold paint with a floral bouquet of assorted wild flowers. The top of both have a black trim with a black line separating the white bottom half and the yellow/gold top. The creamer also has a black trim on the handle and around top to the pourer. The sugar bowl lid is also hand painted with yellow/gold with black trim and white around the rest of the lid to the handle. There is 1 flaw: sugar bowl handle. Front left side, appears to have been cracked and then repaired. The crack can be seen but not felt. The rest if the sugar bowl and creamer do not have any other flaws. please see picture of handle* Very pretty set for its age.

Antique 1916 Z. S. & Co. Sugar Creamer Set Bavaria Hand Painted Two Handled
For sale is this sugar and creamer set from Bavaria by the Z. S. Co. Pale greens with flowers in the center(which appear to be daisies) are hand painted I believe. They appear to be too irregular to be decals. The exterior finish is a matte finish but the handles and interior are glossy. On the bottom there is a stamp for the Z. S. Co. Bavaria. They are a very light china weighing under 5 ounces each. Measurements are approximately 4 3/4 inches long by 3 3/4 inches wide by 3 3/4 inches high. There is also a hand written greeting"Merry Xmas from Vera& Fred 1916" These were my friend's great aunt and uncle from Denmark. I purchased these from her father's estate sale. Here is a 19th century. Circa 1840, ironstone creamer or jug with a dark brown transferware and polychrome hand painted flowers. There is a crack behind the handle at the back of the creamer, and general all over crazing and glaze wear along the handles and high points. There is also a chip on the side of the base edge. Beautiful Vintage Antique Tea Pot - Hand Painted - No Mark - Near Mint Condition
You are bidding on a beautiful vintage antique tea pot that is in near mint condition. The tea pot shows no signs of chipping. Cracking or repair. The hand painting is in immaculate shape. The tea pot is approximately 5" tall by 6 1/2" wide including spout and handle. There are no marks on the rear that indicates where this tea pot was manufactured but it appears to be quite old. The lid has a little protrusion that helps to keep the lid on the pot. This was indicative of older pieces. Antique Creamer Lot of Two(Creamers? Or Teacups? Unsure Very Dainty Egg Shell Thin Hand Painted China I have inherited many antique demitasse and tea cups and saucers and will be listing them for a long time. You might want to check my other auctions from time to time… I'm not sure what to make of these two…they are by far two of the most thin and dainty eggshell china I have come across in the whole lot. They seem to be creamers rather than drinking cups; please forgive me if I am mistaken. They have heart shaped bottoms. Each is about 4 inches from the edge of the handle to the tip of the end of the cup(the little pointed spouted end) And about three inches wide. They are both about 1 3/4 inches deep. I have run my finger over the edges and they feel MOSTLY smooth, but for a little gold ornamentation paint missing here and there; nothing ... moreremarkable, no detected chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. The painting is really nice with fine lines and the light yellow/pink cup's flower work is in a raised relief. Please note that VINTAGE/ANTIQUE items are not perfect; they will always have some minute marks of history and age, no matter how perfect they look. Vintage Antique Hand Painted China Creamer Bowl Germany; Pink Flowers Gold Trim!
Neat old creamer? This. I was told, is from the late 1800's but I know nothing about antiques so please see all pictures for a better description and come to your own conclusions. The exterior is a light, minty green, trimmed in gold paint. The inside is white with beautiful pink flowers around the inner edge. Looking down on the piece from the top, the only flaw visible is a small flea chip out of the pour tip, as shown in the second picture. However, when you flip the piece over, you can see two hairline cracks on the exterior. You can't feel them and they don't go all the way thru, but there is one on either side of the spout. These you can see in the 10th and 11th pictures. I can't make out the name of the maker on the bottom.it has been kind of smudged or scratched off over the years but it has a shield and the name starts ... morewith a'we. Below that it is stamped Germany. Overall the diameter at its widest point measures 5 7/8" Which is from the hole where you would hold it at one side and the spout at the other side. Presented here is a grouping of 7 small cream pitchers. They are all in excellent condition with the possible exception of the next to largest which has a tiny rough spot on the spout. The smallest lusterware pitcher has age crackles. 1. The tallest pitcher-4 1/2 inches in height. Bottom diameter 2 inches. The mark has the crossed arrows with 6871 P. That would be the Kalk Porcelain Factory, Eisenberg in E. Germany. See the photos. 2. Next in height-unmarked. Trimmed and decorated with luster. Three inches height, 4 inches from outer part of spout to outer part of handle. Tiny roughness on right side of spout. 3. Smallest pitcher-2 inches tall. 1 1/2 inch from end of spout to end of handle. I think the mark says SANDLAND WARE, L& S LTD. England. I believe this to be the oldest pitcher both from the fine crackling and the mark. It is also ... moreone of the finest. 4. Ye Olde Jug Inn"2 1/4 inches tall. 2 1/2 inches from outer spout to end of handle. This is a beautifully crafted little pitcher with lusterware in droplet form. The old Jug Inn is pictured with the words"Ye Olde Jug Inn" The mark is Old Castle in England. 5. Copper trim lusterware with hand painted berries and leaves-2 1/4 inches tall. 2 3/4 inches from outer spout to outer handle. The mark is Gray Pottery, Stoke, England. This is really pretty. 6. Copper luster with gravely body-2 1/4 inches tall. Outer spout to widest part of handle, about 2 5/8 inches. There is no mark but this is a true copper lusterware pitcher. Although it is roughly textured in the body, it conveys elegance. 7. Nippon. Hand Paint-Height at tallest part is 3 inches and from outer spout to outer handle is 3 1/2 inches. It is Hand Painted With Geisha Girl Scenes all around the bowl. The Handles are Cobalt Blue and there is other Cobalt Blue on the Lid. Around the top of the bowl where the lid sits inside, and around the bottom of the bowl. This is a RARE. Antique Piece and a VERY RARE Design! The bowl is 4-1/4 inches tall from the bottom to the top of the Cobalt Blue Knob Handle on the Lid. It is a little less than 3 inches tall with out the lid on. This bowl is about 6-1/2 inches wide from the end of one handle across to the end of the other handle. The opening of the sugar bowl is about 3 inches wide. I first want to explain that in the United States from the Mid 1870s until World War Two the biggest hobby in this country was painting on porcelain. Besides the amateur painters you also had professional painters. Professional porcelain decorating studios and ... moresome American poreclain potteries had their own decorating departments. One crucial piece of knowledege you need to know is that the vast majority of this porcelain artwork done by American porcelain artists was painted on blank white porcelain imported in from other countries, You had French Limoges porcelain, Bavarian porcelain(and Bavaria was its own kingdom from 1806 to 1918) German porcelain, Austrian-Bohemian porcelain and some came from Nippon(which is Japan) and other Far East Asian countries. The reason for this was the United States was still in its infancy when it came to porcelain production and the imported porcelain blanks were much less expensive to buy than our own American porcelain blanks in most cases. Because of this a common mistake is to attribute antique American painted porcelain as to being painted in the country on the backstamp. There was a law institued in 1891 by the United States requiring all goods imported into the U.S.A. to have the country of origin on it somewhere. Antique T&V Limoges France Hand Painted Pink Flowers Bone China 5" Dish
Not sure of age. It came from a private collection with items dating back to the late 1800's and others from the 1950's. It features hand painted flowers and greenery around the entire outside perimeter. The inside is very iridescent. There are a couple of nicks in the gold rim. Very small. The gold is worn off in some tiny places on the bottoms of the round feet. Over all it is in good condition and is quite beautiful. It measures five inches across at the widest and one and three quarters inches high. Would make a great sugar bowl.

You are bidding on a lovely. Antique, hand painted, porcelain creamer/pitcher with lid that measures 2 5/8" in diameter and stands 4 7/8" tall to the top of the lid finial. As seen, it is a wonderful, olive, green color with lots of gold gilding. It shows age-appropriate wear with just the tiniest, pinpoint nip on the top rim. Antique R S Germany(Reinhold Schlegelmilch) hand painted and lusterware creamer decorated with pink roses and a gold gilt handle& scalloped rim. It's a bit over 3" at its tallest and is in excellent condition. I purchased this at an estate auction and am uncertain of its exact age but early 20th c. is my best guess. Please note that my shipping time is up to 5 business days as I have multiple jobs and can only ship one day a week. Beautiful. Tressemann& Vogt, Limoges 4-3/8" tall cream pitcher, and approximately 4-3/4" diameter x 5" tall, handled sugar bowl, with hand painted sweet pea blossoms and gold detailing. Green T& V Limoges France Depose mark used by Tressemann& Vogt from 1907 to 1919. Additionally, Souvenir" appears above the mark. That may narrow the time frame, but cannot find additional information. It also has a Pitkin and Brooke decorating mark. The Pitkin& Brooks company was a business in Chicago from 1872 to 1938. Lovely and Extremely Unusual Design Antique SUGAR AND CREAMER SET Incredibly Beautiful Elegant Shapes Which I Would Say Are About Circa 1910. Both pieces have indented'grip' areas on bottom of pieces at front and back. Painted with rust colored and yellow roses with green foliage on front. Back sides of pieces have an imprinted rust colored floral sprig. Color is graduated from a peachy tan color at top to a buttercream sandy color at the base of each Hand painted gold detailing trim which has mainly worn away from age. Most visible down creamer handle Deep Ridged/Ruffled dimensional shape to both pieces at edges Sugar bowl has a scrolled'foot' in center of base- so different! Sugar bowl does not lave a lid and was not meant to have one. The very pointed wing-like edges serve it well for visual interest! One hand painted'51' ... moreand the other w'76' Sugar embossed with 2 unreadable letters Hand Painted China. Glazed Inside With Smooth Glaze And Outside With Matte Glaze I sell a LOT of vintage china and these are definitely Bavarian. Possibly earlier than 1910 and around turn of the century or earlier although not marked with a maker. Creamer Size Approx. 4.75"Tall x 4"Handle to spout. Sugar bowl 4"Tall at highest points at ends and 4.75"Long Very Good Condition No chips. Nicks, cracks, scratches, or repairs to either piece. Some gentle faint crazing to glaze which is normal for age, and the sugar bowl has some VERY light tan staining to glaze inside at bottom from age- see last pic. Creamer is pristine inside, no staining and no crazing. Gold trim is worn. These are STUNNERS- such a very unusual and elegant shape to both pieces. great for a collector and would look beautiful in use or on display. Two antique hand painted creamers, Royal Austria O & EG, Noritake M, great shape
These are very lovely creamers. Antique, hand painted with lovely flowers. In wonderful condition, both perfect except the Austrian creamer has a very small chip on the bottom. These are done in very beautiful designs, very nicely made and are old and charming. The are each nearly 3" tall and 3" wide. The gold is very beautiful as well. I will pack these both very carefully with soft tissue. Bubble wrap and send them within 1 to 3 days in a good sturdy box.

It's decorated with pink roses and signed on the bottom with the artist's initials. It's a bit over 3.5" at its tallest. There's a little chip on the edge of the spout with a loss of gold gilt-the porcelain is thinner there but not entirely missing and a touch of gold paint would make it very hard to spot.
