Antique Art Deco Bronzed White Metal Statue Figurine of Flapper Girl 1920's
I have an antique art deco era white metal. Or spelter, figural statue of a flapper girl in somewhat of classical garb. There is wear to the bronze patina, some greening and on the inside of her right leg, left as you look at it, the metal has separated. Not sure how this happened as it doesn't look like a puncture and it is difficult to notice unless you hold it up to the light. I don't see a signature anywhere or an indication of where it was made. About 8.5" tall and a 2.5" square base. Thanks for looking.

Beautiful Old European Tin with Pheasant Motif This tin trinket box has a beautiful antique patina. The lid is decorated with a bird motif(which I believe is a pheasant) And the colors are golds, browns, taupes, with some black and pale green. Somehow the tin manages to appeal to both men and women, and has a wonderful romantic sensibility. The tin has a hinged lid and stands on four little square-ish feet. There is a small key hole in the front, BUT NO KEY. The tin is European, and likely dates to the 1910 to 1920 timeframe. The antique wear and patina includes some small areas of wear. Some scratches and scrapes, handling marks and soiling, small dents and dings, fading and darkening, etc. A couple larger scratches on front side. And one on back side, too. Patch of wear and possibly early rust on a back corner. The inside is dark with patina ... moreand there are a few small rust spots here, as well as some large gold spots. Bottom is also dark with patina, and there’s some rust around the feet. The feet have solder marks and appear to have been repaired at some point. Hinges are firmly attached and move freely. Opens and closes just fine. Again. Condition issues of note: A few larger scratches. Nothing major. Patch of wear and rust on back corner. Inside and bottom dark with patina. Some small rust spots. This very rare pair of original bookend featuring a Big Cat roaring in an aggressive stance. These were made by the Armor Bronze Company at their original New York City location. This set is high quality and very detailed. Each bookend stands 5" tall, 7" long, 3" wide and weighs 2 lbs. 2 oz. 4 lbs. 4 oz. for the pair) They are in very good condition with a gorgeous rich patina. Authenticity is assured as both still have the original felt bottoms and original Armor Bronze, New York City paper labels. These antique bookends were made using the much coveted and highly collectible bronze-clad method of production which utilized electricity via an electrode built into the plaster mold of the subject piece. Exquisite antique vintage 1920's Art Deco French sculpture by L. Bruns. This is an old original NOT a reproduction. Beautiful subject of a young girl and dog which was originally cold painted silver. You can still see traces of the silver paint in the crevices(my photos turned out golden in color but there is no gold color to the figures at all they have aged to a soft grayish patina) The sculpture rests on a beautiful black and butterscotch marble base that is 1 1/2" high. There have been no repairs or flaws to this lovely piece. It measures approx. 22" long by 9 1/2" high by 6" deep, the figures measure 20" long. Estate garage find item. Couldn't find anything on WMH Hoops Co 1920 off computer. Signed on back. Also it looks like Chicago, but you can't make out the C. About 5 1/4 X 6, embossed with nice woods scene with 2 deer. Would love to know what this came off of. Looks to have been wall mounted and I don't think it was used as an ashtray. Don't see any burn signs. Does have some shelf wear on bottom. And looks to have never been cleaned. This Vienna Bronze from the former sample stock of the Bergmann factory in Vienna was created around 1920. It shows a quite popular erotic subject at the time. Depicting an oriental scenery. On a polychrome painted carpet the inkwell(with a glass recipient) is hidden underneath a decorated pillow that works as a lid. Further a young woman is sitting on a bench. Covering her nakedness with green draped sheet, accompanied by a man in oriental cloths. The figure is made of cold-painted white metal which was used as a surrogate material in the first years of the Vienna Bronzes as well as between the two world wars when bronze was needed otherwise.This inkwell is in good condition indicating only minor signs of age and wear. Antique DOG in DOGHOUSE bookends signed G.S. Allen and Armor Bronze 1920's
Very rare set of richly detailed antique bookends featuring a dog seated in front of a doghouse and peering around the corner. These were designed by the sculptor Gregory Allen and made by the Armor Bronze Company in the 1920's. This finely detailed. High quality set of bookends was made using the bronze-clad method of production. Each bookend stands 6" tall, 4 3/4" wide 4 1/8" deep and weighs 3lbs. 8 oz. 7 lbs for the pair) They are in very good condition. Authenticity is assured as both are signed G. Allen and have the Armor Bronze shopmark incised in the rear. The bronze-clad method in the 1920's was highly innovative. It was an early electroform process which created some of the most outstanding bookends of that era. Some of these products could take up to three days to complete. The cost of time and labor was excessive. None of the foundries survived. Up for bid is a vintage garden statue figure in a dark bronze color. While this looks like bronze. It is actually a pot metal which would have been correct for the 1920's market. The piece is done in the Greek or Roman style which also would be correct for that period. The figure has been mounted on a wood base for use indoors as a figural ornament. The statue is 18 inches tall and the base is 7 inches in diameter. This piece needs a good cleaning but is in super condition. Welcome to my auction! Up for bid is a rare vintage 1920s to 1940's Art Deco metal and horn shape figure of a fish. Fish has an Asian Decor feel to me. Body has been painted with a burgundy color. Paint is more of a stain than a paint. Body is smooth. Has no graining, is a solid ivory color- except the stain, and is not tranparent at all. Maybe this was made to resemble an elephants tusk. I really do not know. It is a really neat item. Fish has brown eyes. This is a very simple and interesting piece. I've never seen anything like it before. I have no idea where it was made. Fish and body connection is very sturdy and is in good shape. The fish is almost 11 1/2" from the bottom of its brass head to the tip of the horn. The base measures about 3 3/4" at its widest place. The bottom has an old worn paper felt bottom on it that ... moreappears to be original. Fish weighs over 3 pounds. Please look at all the pictures CAREFULLY as they are part of my description. This item was previously purchased in an antique shop. I am selling this item as is and as found. PLEASE READ MY DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY. As I try to list every flaw I see. This magnificent piece is signed by Hans Panzer ca. 1920-30. Hans Panzer(1892-1964) was a student of Theodor Kärner. One of Germany's most important animal sculptors of the 20th. century. Up for bidding is an Solid Brass NUTCRACKER set made by the English company PEERAGE. The set is vintage Art Deco from the mid 1920's to early 1930's. These stylish Art Deco Brass nutcrackers are made from heavy solid brass. And feature a chunky rectangular top with a star burst design. they were made by the english company Peerage, and are in good working condition. Engraved on one end"Peerage England" I have seen these sold individually. But I've never come across a complete set of three with the factory brass holder. The set has some minor age related wear to the patina of the brass. But overall these wonderful collectible nutcrackers are in excellent vintage condition!

Vintage Whitman's Chocolates Tin Box Santa Maria Ship Theme 1920-1930 Antique
Whitman’s candy tin believed to be from 1920's or 1930's with the Santa Maria ship pictured on the lid. The wording on the lid is Santa Maria October 12. 1492. This date is a reference to the ship landing date in America, it is not the date of the tin. For a vintage tin it is in very good condition. The hinged top latch is in good operating condition. There are not any rust spots. There are scratches. An about half inch scratch on top left hand corner. Small scratch on lower right hand corner. Some scratches on inside. No finish removed. Scratch across bottom. See pictures but I think the scratches are minor considering the age of the tin. Approximate size of tin is about 9.25” by 7” by about 2.5” tall. The tin is empty.
