This is an awesome piece of Eames Ear furniture. It looks like it came straight off the set of Dan Drapers apartment in Madmen! This piece is made by Brocker and it comes complete with the original keys for the two cabinets. Two glass sliding pieces open up the main display area that has two glass shelves. The back of the cabinet has a silk like hazy blue material accented with harlequin string design. There is one small tear in the backing(see last pic) But you can always sit something in front of this. The piece has some dings and scratches but overall condition is good(as you can see from the pics) There is some heavier scratching to one side of the top. Item 3104. Very nice vintage wooden hand made hand carved spice cabinet. The cabinet is in very good condition. It does have light scuffs. But no deep scratches. I have not done any refinishing. The best I can tell it is all original. It is still solid with no cracks in the wood. There is one very small spot of wood chipped off one of the corners. It measures 11 3/8" x 4" and stands an overall height of 17" There are no makers marks and I have not been able to identify it's maker or the type of wood it is made of. Medical" Storage Cabinet- Antique/Vintage/Retro Styling. Glass panel doors. From the pale green color with chrome trim styling I am guessing that this cabinet is from the 1960's. It is an open back frame that is mounted to your wall with corner screws. The front is tilted out at the top which would seem to indicate that it was designed to be mounted at eye level or higher. The two sliding glass doors are rippled glass to somewhat blur the items stored on the shelves. The glass doors have no chips or cracks to them. The finish is good on the sides. Bottom and interior. There are many white paint spray droplets on the top surface but they are not noticeable unless you mount it too low on your wall. I done a lot of washing cleaning and sanding over several months. ten minutes here twenty there when the mood hits me. I sprayed clearcoat on the hardware. Cuz it took a little work to get it cleaned up and working smooth. if it were to be used indoors, it'll be easier to dust/clean this way. I bought a bunch of stuff out of my friends grandpas barn last summer. I bought half the stuff in this cabinet. And I joked that i may as well buy the dang thing right off the wall. to which he replied" ill go grab the screwgun! yeehaw. I put the hinges back in original holes. it latches. But could be tweaked 1/16" or so to be square on reveal when its closed see pics? ididnt want to alter it any further.
